Radical left turns on woke New York Times

Original Article

Under attack by transgender radicals from inside and outside the paper, top editors of The New York Times face a problem so difficult, I feel sorry for them. Well, almost. The hesitation is warranted because the editors have only themselves to blame. After abandoning standards of fairness to push a crazy woke agenda, they are suddenly discovering that appeasing the far left is impossible. The crash course in common sense comes with the lesson that the more you give the radicals, the more they want. And they don’t ask, they demand and make threats.

So what. For so long the Times has perverted the very notion of reporting the news, and has done it so thoroughly, that its behavior might as well lose it the last group who read the rag altogether. May it die an ignoble death and bankrupt the Sulzberger family with its passing so completely that no one will even remember the names.

FTA: “Susan DeCarava said no black employee, including 1619 Project guru Nikole Hannah-Jones, ever received the highest possible rating from managers." Perhaps because they've never EARNED it. When people have been given passes all their life, earning something is anathema to them! Afffirmative Action bites em in the ass sometimes! Wouldn't it be delicious to watch the NYT evaporate into dust? or has it already done so?

It's happening across the board. Hollywood, academia, big medicine, the book publishing industry, fast food, pro sports, Disney... all are feeling the loss of interest and revenue caused by catering to three percent of the population while insulting and ignoring the 97% that used to support them and keep them afloat. F them all and FJB for allowing them to do it legally.

A conservative is a liberal who's been mugged. The NYT has been mugged - - by their own. I cannot feel sorry for them because they deliberately lie so easily, but I do feel a slight frisson at watching this happen. Seeing as how it's the NYT, though, I cannot see any other resolution than they cave to the woke mob.

5, you're right they will utterly cave, but the owners do have a choice. The owners have chosen this path. They could fire all these incompetent useless knuckleheads and replace them with new people (and keep replacing) until they get a news room of semi-intelligent people who aren't wearing a skirt over their penis at work. But they won't. It takes time for large established companies and organizations to fall apart but there is nothing magical about the NYT such that they don't have to sell enough papers/web hits to sell ads to keep the lights on, just like everyone else.

So the Lyin' Slymes is finding out that the Sex Perverts demand absolute compliance to THEIR perversions. For years, my safe assumption has been that anything that originated at the Lyin' Slymes is just that.... a Lie. If the whole organization would cease to exist starting at midnight tonight, America would be a better place starting tomorrow.

Let’s be brutally honest, shall we? And I mean to cast no aspersions on Walmart, but when even Walmart finally packs up and skedaddles out of your city, it’s a strong indication that your city is in pretty bad shape. And when Lori Lightfoot is your mayor, you live in Chicago, and you know exactly what I’m talking about. Closing stores isn’t rare for Walmart, particularly given its more than 5,000 stores nationwide. As ABC affiliate WLS-TV in Chicago reported the giant retailer closed 160 stores over the past couple of years, but with 5,000 stores the company has to be flexible and the bottom line is, literally, it has to go

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is facing more pressure this week over the Ohio train disaster, with former President Donald Trump set to visit the state Wednesday amid GOP calls for Buttigieg to resign or face impeachment over the train derailment. Ohio GOP Rep. Warren Davidson on Friday called for Buttigieg to be impeached over the matter, after a train derailment spewed toxic chemicals and caused residents to complain of headaches and other symptoms.  'I hope [Buttigieg] does resign, and if he doesn't, you know, there's a long list of impeachment criteria. I never would have thought we'd see a point where we need to impeach a secretary of Transportation,

America is bracing for a mass exodus of retail stores across the nation this year, with more than 800 big box locations set to close from California to New York.  Among the iconic names to announce they are downsizing includes Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Gap and Party City.  At least 803 stores are set to be shuttered over the rest of 2023, with many forced into desperate cost cutting measures amid rampant inflation and declining bottom lines.  The move comes as numerous industries continue to struggle, including Silicon Valley's 'tech wreck' which has seen over 70,000 jobs lost in recent months.

The National Endowment for Democracy, a group funded almost entirely through congressional appropriations, granted $545,750 between 2020 and 2021 to the Global Disinformation Index, which is feeding conservative website blacklists to advertising companies.

The long-range missiles matter. So do the super-accurate artillery shells, the surface-to-air missiles, and the winter weather gear; the training in the English countryside or the muddy Grafenwöhr maneuver grounds; and the intelligence provided from the eyes in space and the ears on airplanes that circle outside the battlezone. President Biden’s visit to Kyiv matters just as much as any of these. Other heads of government preceded him, earning deserved credit. But it is an altogether different thing when the president of the United States—who is, indeed, the leader of the Free World—shows up. His words mattered.

We were told there were 14,000 hours of surveillance video, but now it appears there are roughly 41,000 hours of tape. Tucker has long questioned whether J6 was an actual insurrection. The FBI stated in August 2021 they found little evidence that the crowd tried to topple the United States. A Harvard University survey released in August 2022 said the same thing. Democrats have fought to keep the tapes under wraps. That is understandable, as it’s hard to cry “insurrection” when looking at videos
