Mayhem has broken out in the City of Brotherly Love following the Philadelphia Eagles' narrow Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Signs of unrest surfaced almost immediately after the team's 38-35 defeat Sunday night - with disgruntled fans already seen swarming City Hall and clashing with police that had been stationed throughout the city in case of such an outcome.
Police scanner audio since 10:30pm suggests that cops have already made multiple arrests, as citizens have been seen scaling lampposts, chant 'f*** the Chiefs', and hurling glass bottles

Win or lose, it was going to result in the same mayhem. Mandatory prison time for these domestic terrorists.

It's not Kansas City KANSAS Chiefs, it's s Kansas City, MISSOURI Chiefs - two separate cities, two states. (Divided by the Missouri River.)

It was a great game. Hardly any penalties, decent officiating. I'm a Mahomes, Andy Reid and Kelsey fan, so I'm happy with the outcome. I do like some of the Philly players too, some of them are immensely talented. No one was picking KC to win, so that is icing on the cake. The bandwagon was full of disappointed people.

Human tribalism is so strange. It is amazing that so many dull-witted people can have so much emotional investment in the win or lose of a for-profit entertainment/advertising company that claims to represent their city/state, when very few of their hired athletes are even from that location.

The Thugs were tossing Cars before Halftime. They were there for Mayhem. It wouldn't matter if their Team won or lost, they were going to Riot either way!

Filthydelphia: Famous for 1) Crooked elections, 2) Tribal criminal activity, 3, Runner-up in major football contests. BTW: Biden's favorite team is the Eagles.

Saying that "mayhem has broken out" in Philly is wrong. Philly has always been mayhem under serial corrupt Democrat mayors. That is like saying that "murder has broken out in Chicago."

One of these days, the cops are going to start shooting again and asking questions later and we will be fine with it. Philadelphia saw its last good days around 30 years ago but I wouldn't go near the place today.

This is why I'm glad Philly lost. That and the fact they have a shrub head for a Senator in Fetterman. Embrace the suck Philadelphia. You deserve it.

These young Philly kids have no clue that losing is a Philadelphia tradition that goes back over a hundred years. It's what Philly teams do. It's why nobody comes to a Philly team to win a championship which Byrce Harper will eventually realize. Trea Turner really doesn't care because he already has a World Series ring. However, they both got the kind of money they were looking for, so they have that.

For me this is yet another indication of how far Philly has fallen. I was in the middle of final evaluations week in college in 1974 when the Flyers won the Stanley Cup for the first time. My college was located on Broad Street - the main thoroughfare in the city at that time. People poured into the street by the hundreds of thousands and it was a joyful and completely peaceful celebration. But that was when Philly was reasonable safe and the city was being revitalized in preparation for the Bicenntennial.
