President Joe Biden falsely claimed food prices are coming down after Tuesday’s inflation report revealed prices at the grocery store actually increased in January.
Delivering a Tuesday afternoon keynote address at the National Association of Counties, Biden falsely claimed inflation, including food prices, is coming down.
“Today’s report on inflation shows the good is that inflation in America is continuing to come down,” Biden claimed. “Food prices at the grocery store are coming down.”
But according to the consumer price index report released Tuesday morning, the price of food at home jumped 0.5 percent compared with December.

Any American who buys their own food knows the lie about food prices coming down.
Joe doesn't do the shopping at the White House and evidently his speech writers don't either.

Joey Baby's not lieing. The ventriloquist who is moving the dummies lips is the one lying. He reads his teleprompter or his cue cards. Joey Baby's brain is tapioca.

When was the last time Vegetable, member in good standing of the ruling elite, set foot in a grocery store. I'm here to tell you that the price of butter, orange juice, eggas and bacon--- you name the item--- has not come down. And let's talk about the price of a gallon of gasoline.

If Biden ever did go into a grocery store he would certainly feel at home in the vegetable section.

I wonder if FJB has ever even bought a pack of Marlboro in a store anywhere on this planet.

Our grocery bill was up 24% in 2022 over 2021. That's after cutting back and shifting to less-expensive (read: lower-quality) brands.

The inflation rate lowering slightly does not translate into lower prices. Prices continue to rise.
He is depending upon the fact that sheeple do not know this.

A reporter should ask him what the prices of eggs are, how much is a pound of bacon or a loaf of bread. He will have no clue. I bet the White House chefs haven't cut back on their menus.

this year...... Every entree was AT LEAST FIVE DOLLARS higher in price than a year ago for the same stuff we usually get!!!
The small portion of soup was $7.99.... what will it be next year????

I met friends for breakfast yesterday, and the bill was $60 (with tip) for three people. This wasn't some upscale yuppie establishment selling alcohol, it was a blue-collar joint that offered juice, coffee and tea for beverages. We each had an egg dish. The cheapest dish on the menu was almost $10. I shudder to think what lunch would cost.

It's not only groceries, it's everything. The stuff I use to keep the rabbits and deer from eating the day lily shoots was $18 last year , this year, $ 22. My shampoo was $ 6 , it's now $ 8. And as I said about stamps, they're up 10 % in less than 12 months.
