The ‘DeSantis Is Trump Without the Baggage’
Crowd is in for a Rude Awakening

Original Article

Since President Trump left office, many of the “trustworthy” media outlets have created a talking point that is now held by a minority, yet noticeable number of Conservative Americans. The belief is “DeSantis is Trump, without the baggage.” This group supported President Trump’s policies and felt he did a tremendous job as president, but now feel the baggage that came with Trump would not be present with Ron DeSantis. Many have taken this a step further and believe this baggage would give DeSantis (or others) a better chance of winning in a general election against the Democrat nominee than President Trump.

It’s not Trump’s baggage so much as that it’s his arrogance, self-importance and immaturity. I was a big fan of his policies and ability to enact them, but unless he’s “winning,” he is rude, nasty and insulting on the level of a toddler. It’s exhausting. It’s frustrating. While many conservatives were willing to overlook it while he was in the White House making things happen, many of us want someone who will get things done and be the statesman that we hope all politicians could be.

If he were Trump 2.0, he wouldn't enjoy the tacit support of the never Trumpers who have been living in establishment exile from the captains chair. They created this wreck we face from within and without, complicit with Democrats and shutting out populist conservatives like Trump, and more importantly, those ( us) with whom Trump connects. No one is going to invite you to the backyard barbeque because you have a Trump sign in your yard. Maybe you need to stop clutching your pearls and have the courage to walk down the right path, not the one that DeSantis supporters have repainted.

So, Now Matt Kane is helping Trump Spread the Dirt about Gov. DeSantis. I noticed the word "Allegedly" entered into their accusations. Maybe they could at least wait to see if the Governor declares before tearing him apart. Also, something to think about. If Trump is taken down by the Democrats before the Election (which is a possibility), exactly who else is going to have a chance at winning? Do we really want to see the person who is running neck and neck with Trump taken out and leaving us with nobody. Do we really want Biden for another Term? How about we don't see Republicans taking out their own best chance of winning. Jeesh! And, as for Baggage, Trump was the King of Baggage and we voted for him anyway. Maybe the Guy with a Glass House shouldn't throw Stones at others!

Let's see now, what "baggage" does DJT drag around? WEF hates and fears him. The postal workers hate him. The ENTIRE federal beaurocracy hates him. The ENTIRE political elite class hates him. Military leadership hates him. Climate changers hate him. LGBTQ+-XYZ fear him. The monster known as "DEEP STATE", which in fact DJT identified for us, fears and hates him. Every one of the above groups did EVERYTHING they could to prevent and then destroy his presidency When that failed, they did manage to steal the election, not from DJT, but from us, the American people. So look where we are now. In the clutches of an international criminal conspiracy. We are swirling the drain and I doubt ANYONE can save us, but I'm going to try to help DJT have another chance to whack the deep state. Folks, when everything is lost already, what else is there to lose?

Baggage is baggage only if you are a Conservative or Republican. If you are a Democrat then being a Kenyan Muslim with seven social security numbers and a completely fraudulent birth certificate is not baggage. We have traveled this route many times.

"Baggage" is not the issue. Either Trump or Desantis can win is we have a fair election. Neither will win if we allow the Soros funded left to steal the election with all the means they used in 2020. Even a Trump/Desantis ticket will lose if the states again allow the left to steal the election in enough states. Trump has a huge advantage over Desantis. Trump has already been thwarted by enough traitors to know how deep he needs to go in rooting out the deep state in order to accomplish enduring changes. A first Desantis term would likely be thwarted in the same way Trump's first term was.

These media created accusations against DeSantis are paltry and lame. Is that all they’ve got? This writer seems to think they’re devastating. What planet did he descend from? All Republicans have to withstand this BS or go home. Trump’s media invented baggage has no credibility and everyone knows it. What he presents to the public himself is not filtered. It has become childish, self serving, and tedious.

My biggest issue with Trump is that he didn't get the job done when he had the power to get the job done. "The job" meaning "drain the swamp," and the swamp not only got him but got bigger and nastier for all of us. He tolerated the deep state and didn't replace horrible agency heads that he had the power to fire. And the people that he did put into positions of power were generally neither competent nor loyal to him. What has changed to make it better next time? He's a one man show and the show is always about him and only him.

In addition to the items in the story, check out the facts on the Disney deal in Florida. DeSantis shifted the tax burden to run "Disney World" to the taxpayers. Now, Disney is retaking control. Also, two of DeSantis' children going to a drag queen show. Also, don't see China and Russia quaking in their boots over DeSantis. Overall, like the guy, but he sure ain't baggage-free. Pres. Trump has never claimed to be an angel.

# 18, Trump actually had much less power to drain the swamp than you seem to believe. Saddled with a special prosecutor, often forced to rely on people whose hidden intent was to do him in, the need for senate confirmation for so many key positions (it's one thing to fire someone, another thing to come up with a confirmable replacement)...I think it's clear that no one man can reform Washington. And # 20 - I agree with you completely..

Watching Florida 'news' and one gets subjected to an anti-DeSantis theme. It is constant. They really hate him and go after him. Fully expect it to go nationwide. Regardless of truth, people will believe, and he will be vilified just like Trump. Many people are lemmings after all. The only thing that remains is if big money thinks they can really control him. If so, they will jump on the DeSantis bandwagon. Otherwise, they will join in on all the smears.

I just read a Newsmax quote with Trump saying DeSantis would be nowhere without HIM! You cannot believe how SICK of this behavior we are!!!!!! He lost us Ga. TWICE and lost us the Red Wave (he and the 20-30 something women who are pro abortion) because he can't tolerate anyone who says the race is over or he did not win. And I am sure he will raise holy Hell in they primaries and try to emerge winner because the vote is so split among so many candidates, as he did last time. We voted for him twice and gave a lot of $, but NO MORE. Not only should HE grow up but so also should those supporters who think he walks on water no matter what! First - his overall point is well taken. "Baggage" is manufactured from thin air by the Enemedia, no doubt about it. Trump is very nearly perfectly clean, and amazingly tough to withstand the endless lies and fraudulent prosecution/persecution from corrupt and criminal FBI, DoJ and CIA leaders and evil minions of same. BUT ----- Feeding someone with a nasal feeding tube is NOT torture, not by any definition. That is a medical procedure. Now, why it was done was because these prisoners were attempting to become martyrs by starving themselves to death. That is a political act, and keeping them alive with a standard alternative feeding system is not torture, no matter who claims it is. It can be very well argued that keeping someone from harming themselves is humanitarian. As far as partying with students.....OK, prove that there was alcohol involved, and even if Mr. DeSantis had an adult drink, that does not prove in any way that he provided alcohol to the students. I was at a graduation party for my HS with a number of teachers, and if cameras had been as ubiquitous then as they are now, I'm sure that there would be some photos of many of us students with teachers....drinking fruit punch, and having a good time. In fact, the party was created by the parents and teachers to keep the kids at that party where they had some control rather than let the graduating seniors go wild without any adult control at other parties. Photos like the author describes prove nothing at all. Of course, facts aren't important to the Enemedia, as we all know. So, his point is good, but the two examples aren't actually real problems - but he's right that the Enemedia propagandists can work with nothing and make it into something. A fake something, but they deal in lies and fakery all the time.

I like Ron DeSantis, and truly believe he could be the future of the Republican Party. But "future" is the key word. Ron DeSantis is the governor of what has become a solidly conservative state. He has a strong majority-Republican state legislature that passes the legislation that he wants. Even the media in Florida is mostly supportive of him. He says the right things, and sounds and looks like a very strong leader because of it. But if that sounds familiar, that is the exact description of George W. Bush a few years ago. He was so popular, that he ran for president and won long before he was ready for that step. He got to the DC sewer, and suddenly he had a hostile Congress (including many Republicans) who fought him and wouldn't give him what he wanted. He faced a hostile media that painted him barely one step above Hitler. Faced with that onslaught of hate and power-games, he folded like a wet noodle and decided to try to "play nice" with the Demon-Rats. And the rest is infamy. Other than his reaction to "9-11", his presidency was a disaster. I honestly believe that Donald Trump is the only person with a thick enough skin to have any shot to reverse any of the horrors that the stolen administration of Senile Joe bidet will have inflicted of this republic in 4 years. I also think Ron DeSantis is a much stronger man and conservative than George W. Bush. But I would rather see him hone his poltical skills for a few more years as governor of Florida, and then run in 2028 and 2032.

Bottom line. The primaries will tell us who our candidate will be. I’ll be looking forward to the debates. Anyone is allowed to run for President. Also, it’s not about whose turn it is. Those who say some should wait until 2028, it’s not our say. How do any of us know if we’ll still be around then. The main thing I’m praying for is a Republican President. I cannot stand another Democrat in the White House.

NASA on Thursday confirmed that a loud boom heard over McAllen, Texas was the sound of a meteoroid entering the Earth's atmosphere, and breaking up as it scattered over the area. The rock was 2ft in diameter and weighed 1,000lbs, NASA said before it broke into small pieces and scattered across the area.  No damage was reported, but terrified locals assumed it was an earthquake and shared stories on social media of their homes shaking with the impact. NASA said that anyone who thinks they have found a fragment must contact the Smithsonian. They reassured people that the space rocks posed little threat to the public.

Ohio Train Disaster?

The environmental disaster taking place in Ohio from a Norfolk Southern derailed train should outrage both sides of the political aisle. After the smoke clears, investigations will take place and most likely will show that there is plenty of blame to be shared, including all levels of government and both political parties. But at the moment, the complete lack of any significant response by the Biden administration is appalling and begs the question why an administration that is hostile to the free market and supports extreme measures to fight climate change is missing in action?

Chris Cuomo, the former host of Cuomo Prime Time on CNN, claims he was so devastated after his firing that he was “going to kill everybody and myself.” Cuomo was fired back in 2021 when CNN had to pretend that it cared about journalistic standards in the wake of revelations that Cuomo was giving advice to his brother Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced former governor of New York, who’d been accused of sexual harassment by a number of staffers. “I had to accept [my firing] because [otherwise] I was going to kill everybody, including myself,” Cuomo told Anthony Scaramucci during an interview on the latter’s podcast.
Let’s Just Say It: Transgenderism Is
a Mental Illness

It isn’t a civil rights cause, it isn’t a new form of free expression, it isn’t a natural societal evolution. It’s insanity. And facilitating it, as in the case of the supposed “medical professionals” increasingly pushing it on children, is evil. We’re seeing this in more and more vivid detail as the transgender craze — and it is a craze, make no mistake about that — broadens and touches more and more lives. It’s becoming harder and harder to sustain the myth that chemical castrations and hormone baths and disfiguring surgeries lead to normal lives.

Congressional Democrats rolled out a spending proposal aimed at closing the racial wealth gap on Wednesday, which would give at least $1,000 to every American born after 2005. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) introduced the American Opportunity Accounts Act, which would federalize the use of 'baby bonds' for the country's youth to help fight wealth inequality. The program would be funded by raising estate and inheritance taxes. It would result in a major redistribution of wealth to middle and lower-income Americans. The lawmakers estimate that children in families on the lowest income levels would have roughly $46,000 by the time they begin college,

CHICAGO - In a letter sent out this week by the Chicago Audubon Society, the environmental consulting organization says it plans to drop "Audubon" from its name and is encouraging the National Audubon Society to do the same. (Snip) "Carrying John James Audubon’s name does not serve us well ethically," the organization said, calling out the naturalist’s ties to a genocidal campaign waged against people of color. The organization argued that Audubon had no role to play in the discovery of nation’s natural resources but merely described them for mostly white audiences.

Joe Biden will complete a full physical exam Thursday as the oldest-ever U.S. president readies for a possible 2024 reelection fight. No official announcement has yet been made as to whether he will run again. AFP reports the White House has promised to make the results public via the president’s doctor just as it did during a previous medical checkup in 2021. On that occasion the octogenarian underwent a complete examination, including a colonoscopy under general anesthesia, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Biden transferred his powers for one hour and 25 minutes to Vice President Kamala Harris, making her the first woman in U.S. history to hold the presidential prerogative.

Rail company Norfolk Southern ran scared of a town hall meeting in East Palestine tonight because officials 'were afraid for their safety' following the chemical train derailment disaster. Representatives were due to attend to help explain what happened and how they could repair the devastation - and soothe fears of potential long term health problems including cancer. But the town's mayor Trent Conaway revealed just before the packed meeting at the local high school: 'The people want answers. I want answers. 'Norfolk Southern didn't show up.' Asked why, he said: 'Because they are scared for their safety.'

Joe Biden raised eyebrows on Wednesday when he referred to the first black governor of Maryland as 'boy'. Biden, 80, was in the town of Lanham to speak to members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He referenced the newly-elected 44-year-old governor Wes Moore, a former college football star, and used a word which is seen as a derogative term for black men. 'You got a h*** of a new governor in Wes Moore, I tell ya,' Biden told the union workers. 'He's the real deal, and the boy looked like he could still play. He's got some guns on him.'

A Georgia State Senator referred to Justice Clarence Thomas, the second black man to serve on the United States Supreme Court, by the racial slur “Uncle Tom” this week, presumably over his conservative leanings. The racist comment occurred on Tuesday as the Georgia State Senate voted 32-20 along party lines to create a statue on Capitol grounds dedicated to Justice Clarence Thomas, a native of the Peach State. In the leadup to the vote, Sen. Emmanuel Jones (D) likened Thomas to a slave that “sold his soul to the slave master.” “There’s a whole laundry list of positions that Justice Thomas has taken that I find offensive,” Jones said, adding:

Emails obtained by DailyMail.com reveal doctors from the St. Louis gender clinic now under investigation following bombshell whistleblower claims advised teachers to 'affirm' an entire group of fifth graders. The Washington University Transgender Center at the St. Louis Children's Hospital was shamed last week by whistleblower Jamie Reed, a former employee who wrote about a 'medically and morally appalling' scenario at-play.  Her claims sparked two investigations - one by the Missouri AG's office, and another by the office of Senator Josh Howley.   Now, DailyMail.com can reveal the clinic's emails to a concerned elementary school teacher from Parkway Schools, a district on the outskirts of St. Louis.
