Tom Brady has taken to social media to announce he’s retiring again. This time he means it and is gone “for good.”
He retired after the 2021 season but turned around a month later and reversed that to “unretire,” as Breitbart News reported.
On Wednesday the 45-year-old said he was done and was drawing down the curtain on a stellar career.
“Good morning guys, I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring for good,” Brady said on Twitter.
“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I just press record and let you guys know first.

No, Tom Brady, the GOAT, is not coming back this time. What a career he has had. Those of us who live in the Tampa Bay area are thankful that he came here to win his last Super Bowl and complete his career. It will be a long time before his records are approached or bettered.

I was always a Peyton Manning fan but you have to give it to Tom Brady...Brady played and WON Super Bowls when most other players would have retired 10 years ago and gone to Disney World...a splendid mix of brains, athleticism, and grit

He'll never want for material needs - especially with the additional $375 million he'll get from FOX sports. I hope he is happy in retirement from the competition. He has given his fans a lot over the decades.

There were strong rumors that he was going to play for Sean Payton, wherever he landed. However, Russell Wilson would have to displaced, and the reclamation of the Broncos is going to take years (cap and draft pick issues). Brady truly is the GOAT. Sorry that this last year in Tampa contributed to his divorce, it certainly was not worth it for all the reasons they had a bad year, injuries especially to his O line. Like poster 1, we are thankful we had him here in Tampa to elevate the football experience. Thank you Tom!

My only years watching football were when Brady was the Patriots QB. He pulled off some of the most amazing feats to overcome near certain loss. He left Boston. C'est la guerre.
And that's it, for me. I don't watch, and I don't care. But i DO hope he can reconcile with his wife and take good care of his children, who need their father.

Both Manning and Brady were great QBs, but there's no denying that out of the 17 games they played head-to-head, Brady won 11 to Manning's six. Also, Brady has seven Super Bowl rings to Manning's two . The head-to-head stats are mixed - Peyton passed for more yards, but threw more interceptions. Brady's completion percentage was higher, but he threw fewer TD passes. Would Manning been the GOAT if Brady wasn't around? Would Brady have been as good if Manning wasn't his chief competition? We'll never know.

Glad he is getting out before they have to carry him off the field.
Also hope he gets back together with his wife. Kids need both parents around.

Brady saw the makeup of the Tampa team for next season and said no way I'm coming back. One season getting creamed by the defense is too much, but another season at 45 is more punishment than I care to endure.

Smart move and all the best, but part of me wanted to see one year with the Raiders.

We will miss you Tom! You did us Proud in your short time in Florida. And as far as Football costing him his marriage, I've seen the new stuff his Ex is modeling now. She looks like a Hooker who would fit in great with the Kardashians! He has a son who will soon turn 16. He can now concentrate on that Young Man who looks like him and throws a Football like his dad. Will be fun to watch him grow and learn!

We don't know what caused the break up of his marriage BUT I have a grudge against Gisele for making him leave Boston she hated the weather and hated the people. The guy looks like a skeleton. I think he's really hurting from the break up.

#6 you know very little about football, name me one QB that won with a crappy team around him? Even Payton Manning looked awful when the Colts didn't have a team around him, Football is a TEAM sport like no other it take 11 men to do the correct assignment on every play too be successful. One OL not doing his assignment will screw up everything. One WR running the wrong route will destroy a play and a bad coach like TB had this year will have a poor game plan. I was never a Brady fan but he is one of the TOP 10 QBs of all time. PERIOD if you don't think so watch his 1st ballot HOF vote.
