On Friday, Sen. John Fetterman’s (D-Pa.) chief of staff stated that campaigning last year may have caused the senator permanent brain damage. While many in conservative media raised concerns about Fetterman’s health and whether he was truly fit to serve in the U.S. Senate, the aide’s admission directly contradicts the note written by Fetterman’s doctor, a Democrat donor, who insisted that Fetterman was fit to serve.
“Overall, Lt. Governor Fetterman is well and shows strong commitment to maintaining good fitness and health practices. He has no work restrictions and can work full duty in public office,” Dr. Clifford Chen wrote last year.

A "high-altitude object" has been shot down over Alaska in the past hour, the White House has said.
Spokesman John Kirby said the object was "the size of a small car" and was over a sparsely populated area at the time.
President Joe Biden took the decision to shoot down the object, which was of unknown origin, Mr Kirby said.
It comes after the US shot down a Chinese balloon over its territorial waters last Saturday. Speaking at the White House on Friday, Mr Kirby explained that the object over Alaska was travelling at 40,000ft and could have posed a threat to civilian aircraft.
He added that its debris field was

MNSBC host Mika Brzezinski fumed over House Republicans using their power of the majority to have their committees look into abuses by the federal government and look into whether Hunter Biden's shady business deals had anything to do with President Joe Biden.
MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan said Republicans are not interested in legislating, only airing their grievances against their political opponents.
"I’m going to add to that description of yours, grievance train. They are adding to the grievance train. First off, the obsession with Hunter for whatever they might find is — I think that will backfire, as well. This is President Biden, who’s extremely well-liked, who many believe has accomplished

For the first time, the ‘unsafe and ineffective’ COVID-19 vaccine was formally added to the routine immunization schedule for both children and adolescents by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Thursday.
It is common knowledge that COVID-19 poses no threat to young children, that mRNA vaccinations against the virus are not effective or safe and that some people have even died after receiving a COVID vaccine. But the CDC and its advisory council continue to push for childhood vaccinations despite all these facts.
Back in October 2022, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), which provides advice and guidance to the Director of the CD

President Biden visited Tampa, Florida on Thursday and took a jab at Gov. Ron DeSantis over Medicaid, as well as doubling down on his accusation that Republicans want to cut Social Security and Medicare while hinting at punishing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for calling him a liar.
“Over 1.1 million people in Florida would be eligible for Medicaid if Gov. DeSantis just said, ‘I agree to expand it,'” Biden said, taking aim at DeSantis whom he likely fears just as much as former President Trump. “This isn’t calculus.” (Video) His appearance in Florida, taking potshots at Republicans in DeSantis’ and Trump’s backyard, was a calculated political move

During an interview with the BBC that aired last week, Bill Gates was asked to address the public's criticism that his use of private jet travel is hypocritical, given his stance on climate change.
The World Wildlife Fund claimed that air travel is "currently the most carbon intensive activity an individual can make."
Gates and other billionaires have been slammed for traveling in private jets while campaigning about climate change.
"You actually mentioned your use of a private jet.

The large and influential social justice warrior community in the San Francisco Bay Area is reeling with the news of the death of one of their prominent members, 48-year-old Jennifer Angel. Ms. Angel (snip) was an outspoken and active proponent of left-wing causes, as acknowledged in a statement issued by family and friends following her death: "We know Jen would not want to continue the cycle of harm by bringing state-sanctioned violence to those involved in her death or to other members of Oakland’s rich community. As a long-time social movement activist and anarchist, Jen did not believe in state violence, carceral punishment, or incarceration..."

The White House got a jab in on Florida Gov. Ron Desantis Thursday during a press gaggle aboard Air Force One en route to the Sunshine State.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked by reporters for comment on the DeSantis administration's ongoing feud with the Walt Disney Company. Jean-Pierre chuckled during her response, saying, "I don't know about you all, but I certainly would not get into a fight with Mickey Mouse. I don't think that would be the thing I would be doing." She also referenced the Republicans' rebuttal to Biden's State of the Union address in which Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated

Washington State Governor Jay Inslee, like California’s Governor Gavin Newsom, is mandating that his state become all-electric. In doing so, Inslee demonstrates serious myopia. He cannot see the ugly side of his wind-, solar-, and EV-mandated world.
Such comprehensive dependence on wind and solar requires vast acreage for turbines and panels. The result? The pathetic destruction of pristine landscapes.
Further, after decades of experience around the world, wind turbines and solar panels have been found to have a life expectancy of about 20 years. Yet no one has discovered a financially viable means of recycling them. As a result, today’s old wind turbines and solar panels are being dumped
