Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on Saturday became the longest-serving female in Senate history, passing former Sen. Barbara Mikulski while celebrating her 30th anniversary as part of the chamber. Feinstein, the first woman to lead the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee from 2017 to 2021 and the first female head of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, called it an "incredible honor" to reach the milestone. "I'm forever grateful to the people of California who sent me here to represent them," Feinstein said in a statement released this week. "It has been a great pleasure to watch more and more

"She said in a statement." No doubt written by her staff. Diane herself hasn't been seen in public in months...perhaps over a year. I really can't remember the last time. Its a wonderment the people of this state don't insist that we actually have two functioning U.S. Senators. Although, we would just get a rabid lefty Dem. I guess a comatose one just voting for the "consensus" is better than a firebrand introducing legislation written hell, like legalizing mutilation surgery for children. Never mind, I'll count my blessings.

Longest serving (looting) corpse in Senate History is a more accurate description. Feinstein has at this point as much sentient awareness as a burned out light bulb in an unplugged lamp. As usual though this mummified commie traitor and her equally corrupt husband are worth a couple of hundred million dollars though her long, way too long, tenure in the Senate.
