The operator of California’s power grid is advising state residents to prepare for rolling outages because of a heatwave. Governor Gavin Newsom constantly brags about the state’s commitment to green energy, but he can’t even keep the power on.
How will they power all the electric cars once they ban gas-powered vehicles if they can’t keep the power on? (Snip) BREAKING: California’s grid operator has just issued a level 2 energy emergency alert, upgrading from level 1 issued earlier. @California_ISO is now advising Californias to “be ready for potential rotating power outages” this evening as electricity demand may hit all time high.

Democrat fantasy, meet reality.
Democrats live in a fantasyland. The problem is they demand everyone else live there, too.

Does anyone in that state have any common sense? They have energy alerts and are thrusting EV's on people. How do they plan to charge the bloody things?

There is nothing wrong using fossil fuel for energy. It is a great resource right here in our country under the ground. It is readily available, economical and dependable. Fracking has made retrieval easier and cleaner and can make the U.S. energy independent with enough to export on the world market. It is not detrimental to the environment as the left wants everyone to think. Listen to a bunch of green activists with an agenda and a Swedish teenager and sit in the dark while freezing or burning depending on the season.

The Left Coast has structural issues in place for their energy supplies, and on top of those hard facts of geography, the Idiots In Charge are greatly exacerbating things with their brain dead political mechanations under the flag of "saving the planet", which is actually just lining their pockets while crushing the middle class.

California voters will NOT vote these "green" politicians out of office until their energy and water shortages get much worse, and the shortages WILL get much worse. California residents are in for many years of energy and water shortage problem shocks beyond their wildest imaginations. If the politicians started today to - as soon as possible - correct the laws and regulations that are affirmatively causing these shortages, it will be years before these shortages are eliminated.

FTA ... The grid operator said energy conservation “played a big part in protecting electric grid reliability.”
In simpler words this modern thing called electricity no longer exists in "The Golden State"

So let me get this straight. You are supposed to drive an electric car, but the state already is preparing for rolling blackouts ? In what universe does this make any sense ? Oh yes, the universe of liberalism, where all things come true if you just wish it so.

I have a shirttail relative that moved back to California. You know that meme that has the power strip plugged into itself? She doesn't understand why that's an accurate commentary on Newsom's energy policy. Just doesn't get it. Thankful there's a state that's clearly demonstrating the failure of 'green' energy and other equally lousy reforms.

Californians are the most self absorbed people I have met and that inward perspective makes them ignorant, stupid by choice also fits. Some of their largest generation plants burn portable oil recovered off the coast, not plentiful coal that rail ships to ports to foreign destinations or pipeline natural gas. Then they bankrupt the northern electric utility for a fire caused by environmental regulation. And 74% voted to retain Pelosi's nephew? The bay area fascist Democrat propagandists deserve the decline.

Not sure where I heard it (Beverly Hillbillies; Alvin York, or) but a bucolic, hill-folk expression synonymous with fooling someone is: 'greening' them. As in 'you must be greenin' me!'. Time to resurrect said expression.

What right does the State or Federal government have in deciding energy issues? Where exactly is this power found in the Constitutions of either?
The people of this nation have ceded way too much authority to un-elected bureaucrats and it must be taken back.

Another example of people running the government who haven't a clue as to how to run a business...these fools are politicians appointed by bureaucrats and spoon fed tax dollars to keep them afloat....and WE get to pay for their folly.....
