He fumed: “We will not supply anything.” The Kremlin chief blasted EU plans as “stupid” and vowed Russia would renege on deals to supply gas through the Nord Stream pipeline. If it's predictable, it's preventable. Europe was warned about this back in the 1980s. I hope they figure this out very soon. This should also be a warning to us as well. How much of our vital supplies come from China?

I hope this prompts Europe to remove itself from the US led effort to keep the war going forever. I had hoped that the Europeans would ditch their subservience to our war machine when the war broke out but no such luck.

American need to take a lesson from this: Never be dependent on foreign oil, like we are right now under Biden. We need to immediately open the oil pipelines and build more nuclear power plants (cheap, clean, effective.)

Actually, Vlad, thanks! You're doing the world a huge favor by waking them up to the idiocy of the "green energy" hoax. As for the Europeans, I believe the biblical description that will apply this winter is "many are called, but few are frozen"...

Euroweenies, prepare to freeze! Jumping on the climate change bandwagon may be a fatal mistake. Unfortunately, it will be the regular folks who will suffer while the elites stay warm and toasty. I cannot believe how many people have fallen for this climate change snake oil. You have to be pretty dim to buy into it when common sense tells you otherwise. The people in charge are raving lunatics willing to sacrifice their own people on the altar of climate change. Unfortunately, the US is not far behind with the green fascists in the democrat party making decisions. I can’t believe how anyone with a brain can buy into this nonsense. Let’s abandon energy resources that are relatively clean and plentiful and go all in on alternative sources that are unable to produce the energy we need. Who in their right mind thinks this a good idea? Only committed ideologues who are determined to make us all suffer to make themselves feel superior.

NEWNAN, Ga. — Georgia Democrats have grown increasingly pessimistic about Stacey Abrams’s chances of ousting Gov. Pennsylvania lieutenant governor and U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman has not fully recovered from the serious stroke he suffered in May. His campaign has acknowledged his obvious struggles with “auditory processing” and speech, but the persistence of those struggles has contrasted with the campaign’s rosier predictions of a return to the rigors of campaigning, including debating his opponent, Mehmet Oz. If Mr. Fetterman is not well enough to debate his opponent, that raises serious concerns about his ability to serve as a United States senator. None of this excuses the antics of Mr. Oz’s campaign, which has decided that their

Manchin, who had originally pledged not to sign on to any new spending bill during the country’s current inflationary boom, suddenly switched his position at the end of July. The bill he negotiated, which cost nearly a trillion dollars, was full of wasteful green energy subsidies and payouts to special interests. It also represented a stabbing in the back of Republican senators who had trusted him to keep his word about reconciliation after voting for the CHIPS Act.
