In President Joe Biden’s 2007 memoir, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, he wrote that the late Sen. Mike Mansfield (D-Mont.) gave him the best advice he ever received: “Joe, never attack another man’s motive, because you don’t know his motive.” Judging from Biden’s increasingly belligerent speeches, he has forgotten Mansfield’s eminently wise counsel. This was rendered abundantly clear during his Thursday speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Standing before a backdrop that looked as if it had been designed by Leni Riefenstahl, he attacked the motives of half the electorate.

I hope it backfires alright with a nuclear explosion in Nov! Republicans better step up, they can be voted out if they screw up yet again and waste the chance the voters give them. They better see that change is what we need and they better get off their butts and do something. First up is get rid of "go along" McConnell, though I doubt they will.

We know that Joe Biden only read the speech, he didn't write it. Its troubling that there are idiots in top positions in this government who are allegedly sane and not suffering from dementia and still stupid enough to write such a speech.

"the military is supposed to be apolitical. Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that.” The use of the military figures was a subtle THREAT to opponents of progressives just as his previous mention of an F15 being able to overcome a individual with an AR-15. The message is, "The federal government and I have the power and I will use it when I deem it necessary." The raid on Trump's house was a demonstration of that power. The handling of the J6 prisoners is a demonstration of that power. All these things are meant to intimidate the citizens who dare to stand against him. The fact that the major networks refused to air the speech PROVES the political and THREATENING nature it projected. It ripped off the mask that Brandon has used throughout his career, the mostly amiable tough guy. Now Brandon is a nasty, ominous figure who has destroyed the economy and impoverished Americans. His imagery and words project implied menacing actions against his opponents who would presume to vote against him. The author suggests that Brandon should have instead addressed "real issues" but that is frankly impossible. Brandon has framed his actions as absolutely necessary to address climate, racism, and numerous "essential" issues. In essence, his actions are allegedly like chemotherapy, that can be grueling but needed to fight a deadly cancer. Climate especially is portrayed as a "cancer" of the world, deadly even if not yet fully diagnosed, and justifying extreme actions. Backing off this stance would repudiate the raison d'être of the dem party. "But the house isn’t on fire" Brandon has no way out of dealing with the "real issues" and the results of his actions to "fix" things. The progressives require his actions to handle their defined emergencies. Either the "building" is on fire or it is not. The progressives have summoned the fire trucks and are pumping water on the country to douse the flames. To declare that maybe the "building" wasn't on fire to begin with is an impossible reversal. Let's hope that the electorate is aware enough to massively repudiate the dems, beyond their ability to manipulate the votes to their favor.

By describing Trump, his supporters and the GOP as clones of Hitler and his fascist regime, Biden was reassuring Democrats that they are justified in stealing the 2022 and 2024 elections for the greater good. The good of Dems in power and their major contributors, that is. Philadelphia was selected because it was at the center of the 2020 election night steal, a night when Trump’s 700,000 vote victory margin in PA turned into a Biden win. Those Dem poll workers didn’t block the windows in the vote counting office because observers were a distraction. The same “Trump and MAGA = semi-facism” was the reason for the DoJ/FBI raid on Mar a Largo. Raid didn’t care about federal documents or even the framed Time Magazine covers. Rather, it was to reinforce leftist hate of Trump so that bogus mail-in ballots, rigged Dominion machines and the Dem zealots counting votes could justify their theft of an election. The same reason why Biden’s bile was only broadcast on MSNBC and CNN, the two Dem house organs, Question is whether enough legal votes can be cast to overturn the upcoming Dem steals.

It shouldn't be close, but it will be. People have been conditioned to think certain ways and it favors the Democrats. It's the only way one can explain 70+ million people voting for a corrupt hate filled sickly brain addled fool that hid from voters in 2020. Add in Democrat dirty tricks and voter fraud, and Republicans have an even steeper road to climb. Add in Republicans that don't want to win, and it's worse. Republicans will likely win one or both chambers, and the media will immediately blame them for all the problems created by the Democrats. A Democrats loss might be the best strategy for the Democrats to regain popularity.

Leni Riefenstahl and Albert Speer would be offended being mentioned in the same breath as Biden's "Portal of Hell" staging. Both were masters of presentation. Whoever did "Portal of Hell" was ignorant of the visual impact her poor staging left that would have detracted from any speech. Even the Gettysburg Address would have been rendered sinister.

Was CBS paid for their film crew/directors/producers...even though they didn't even air their own footage? After the jan 6 committee scripted primetime star chamber show tanked with viewers...have the networks seen the spaghetti on the wall and will start demanding Dems BUY time if they want to get on the Air? I am a lifelong Democrat. I even worked for Joe Biden at one time. Thus, nothing that has happened in America since January 2021 has surprised me. But the president’s speech in Philadelphia last week marked a new low for America and a new low for a party that I once idolized. To me, the Democratic Party was the party of hope, tolerance, and opportunity. Indeed, those themes echoed through Bill Clinton’s speeches in 1992. Clinton’s presidency was the high-water mark of the post-war Democratic Party. He blended JFK’s idealism with Reagan’s folksiness. He embodied America’s middle class, the greatest political force

Joe Biden’s speech at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall on Thursday was one of the most remarkable in living memory. By “remarkable,” I hasten to add that I do not mean “good.” On the contrary, it was a breathtaking act of what the psychoanalysts call “projection,” blaming others for the bad things you do yourself. The speech itself was a malignant act of demagoguery that will have colonels and generalissimos everywhere catching their breath with envy. The neo-totalitarian stage set, replete with red lighting effects and military personal flanking the shouting, gesticulating Biden, was right out of central casting. Next time, perhaps Biden will wear epaulettes along with his signature aviators.

Since the Democrats achieved their governing trifecta in 2020, they have presided over a cascading series of domestic and foreign policy disasters while displaying transparent contempt for the Constitution. For the sake of the country, it’s imperative that some semblance of balance is restored to the elective branches of our government. The GOP must regain control of Congress in November. Accomplishing this will clearly require solidarity among Republican officials, the conservative commentariat, and the voters who endure Democratic policies. Above all, no circular firing squads.

I still think this is the likeliest Senate swing seat to go blue this fall. Dr. Oz’s favorability in numerous polls has been brutal and he’s too much of a squish to expect much by way of enthusiastic MAGA turnout. (Although getting to run on the same ballot as Doug Mastriano will help with that.) He’s also certainly going to be outspent before this race is done. But he has two things going for him. To gauge the trepidation with which the Democrats view the midterms, consider their reaction to last week’s special elections in New York’s 19th and 23rd congressional districts. They eked out a two-point win in the former and lost the latter. Yet, the Democrats and their friends in the Fourth Estate hailed the NY-19 victory as a portent of doom for the GOP in November. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared, “Republicans should be very, very, very scared this morning about their prospects.” The lady doth protest too much, to quote the Swan of Avon.

Team Biden’s student-loan “forgiveness” scheme is yet another example of a misguided and dangerous policy initiative masquerading as a public good — no surprise from an administration in which political missteps are the norm. The left is heralding the plan, which will “forgive” $10,000 for student-loan borrowers making $125,000 or less and $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients, as genuine assistance for millions of debtors. But it’s like a Band-Aid on a gunshot wound.
