John Fetterman is ducking Dr. Oz and it

I still think this is the likeliest Senate swing seat to go blue this fall. Dr. Oz’s favorability in numerous polls has been brutal and he’s too much of a squish to expect much by way of enthusiastic MAGA turnout. (Although getting to run on the same ballot as Doug Mastriano will help with that.) He’s also certainly going to be outspent before this race is done. But he has two things going for him. One is public concern over crime, particularly the epidemic of shootings this year in Philadelphia. A far-left Democrat who’s on record as saying he wants to reduce the prison population

Fetterman was in Erie a few days ago,and didn't present himself well. Oz, as a physician, has to deal with Fetterman's health issues carefully. Mocking him may hurt Oz. Oz could point out that Fetterman consciously neglected a serious health issue, Atrial Fibrillation, for several years after it was first diagnosed. That represents poor judgment. Not paying his taxes represents poor judgment. Being proud of paroling murderers represents poor judgment. Supporting a blanket reduction by 30 percent of all prisoners sentences represents poor judgment. Opposing fracking, in a state that has a lot of it, represents poor judgment. Oz has a real chance of defeating Fetterman, but his campaign has to be energized.

Uncle Fenstermann (reminds me of "Uncle Fester" from the Addams Family and "Baby Face Finster," the bank robber from an old Bugs Bunny cartoon). isn't going to debate Dr Oz. Ol' Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe would be a debating champion compared to Fenstermann and he can't string a full sentence together. Dr Oz is just going to have to suck it up, go everywhere he can and shake every stinkin' voters hand and look them in the eye and tell them he's there to keep their jobs, industry, and quality of life.

Fetterman probably thinks that he can give Oz the same stay in the basement treatment that Biden’s handlers laid on Trump and got away with. Politicians only do that when they believe their electorate is stupid.

If PA votes for this guy Fetterman, sounds like it might be time for a major boycott of that state. He is as qualified for office as AOC/the squadies are and they aren't qualified. But that doesn't mean I support Dr. Oz. He could lose this to Fetterman because he is a carpetbagger from Jersey.

Fetterman looks like Doctor Droid from the 70s Super-friends Saturday morning cartoons(look it up he's a spitting image). Oz should beat the brakes off of that slovenly looking dimwit but he has to get the people energized to his side. If he pushes the issues and highlight what he will do to help mitigate everything the democrats have done to make it hard for the people of PA and the country then he will win.

In President Joe Biden’s 2007 memoir, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, he wrote that the late Sen. Mike Mansfield (D-Mont.) gave him the best advice he ever received: “Joe, never attack another man’s motive, because you don’t know his motive.” Judging from Biden’s increasingly belligerent speeches, he has forgotten Mansfield’s eminently wise counsel. This was rendered abundantly clear during his Thursday speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Standing before a backdrop that looked as if it had been designed by Leni Riefenstahl, he attacked the motives of half the electorate.

Joe Biden’s speech at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall on Thursday was one of the most remarkable in living memory. By “remarkable,” I hasten to add that I do not mean “good.” On the contrary, it was a breathtaking act of what the psychoanalysts call “projection,” blaming others for the bad things you do yourself. The speech itself was a malignant act of demagoguery that will have colonels and generalissimos everywhere catching their breath with envy. The neo-totalitarian stage set, replete with red lighting effects and military personal flanking the shouting, gesticulating Biden, was right out of central casting. Next time, perhaps Biden will wear epaulettes along with his signature aviators.

Since the Democrats achieved their governing trifecta in 2020, they have presided over a cascading series of domestic and foreign policy disasters while displaying transparent contempt for the Constitution. For the sake of the country, it’s imperative that some semblance of balance is restored to the elective branches of our government. The GOP must regain control of Congress in November. Accomplishing this will clearly require solidarity among Republican officials, the conservative commentariat, and the voters who endure Democratic policies. Above all, no circular firing squads.

To gauge the trepidation with which the Democrats view the midterms, consider their reaction to last week’s special elections in New York’s 19th and 23rd congressional districts. They eked out a two-point win in the former and lost the latter. Yet, the Democrats and their friends in the Fourth Estate hailed the NY-19 victory as a portent of doom for the GOP in November. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared, “Republicans should be very, very, very scared this morning about their prospects.” The lady doth protest too much, to quote the Swan of Avon.

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom fired shots at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis revealing he will give $100,000 to the Republican governor's midterm opponent in an effort to flip the red seat blue in the November election. In a tweet posted by Newsom Thursday, the governor pledged the large donation to Rep. Newsom, who is also running for re-election this fall, made his objective with the donation clear. "Time to make Ron DeSantis a one-term governor," Newsom said.

Team Biden’s student-loan “forgiveness” scheme is yet another example of a misguided and dangerous policy initiative masquerading as a public good — no surprise from an administration in which political missteps are the norm. The left is heralding the plan, which will “forgive” $10,000 for student-loan borrowers making $125,000 or less and $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients, as genuine assistance for millions of debtors. But it’s like a Band-Aid on a gunshot wound. It not only falls short of the hype but provides a false sense of financial relief, worsening an already deeply broken system. The reality is that it’s not the government “forgiving” debt but the

Beginning in earnest with Donald Trump’s election in 2016, working class voters in the United States have fled the Democratic Party in droves, quickly eroding a once solid base of support for the party. Amid this seismic shift in the electorate, many elected Democrats and mainstream media pundits have over the past several months desperately tried to prop up this narrative of Democrats as the party of everyday Americans – even as the policies emanating from Washington have grown increasingly opposed to their interests. Following the 2016 election, many in media circles seemed to believe that Trump’s performance with blue-collar and working class voter

In 1980, when the voters of Arkansas denied Bill Clinton a second term as the state’s governor, he responded by apologizing to the voters for the poor decisions he had made and asking them how he could have done a better job. This humble approach allowed him to regain the trust of the voters, and he was reelected in 1982. The rest, to coin a phrase, is history. There’s a lesson for Rep. Liz Cheney in this story, but she refuses to learn it. Indeed, on Sunday, she literally dismissed the Wyoming voters who rejected her as “sick.”
