A religious school in Florida says it will only refer to students by their sex assigned at birth, while pupils who are gay, transgender or gender nonconforming "will be asked to leave the school immediately." NBC News obtained an email from Grace Christian School in Valrico, about 20 miles east of Tampa, sent before the beginning of the school year by Administrator Barry McKeen.(Snip)The June 6 correspondence to parents cited scripture and said that students will be referred to by the "gender on their birth certificates" during the school year beginning this month.(Snip)"We believe that God created mankind in His image: male (man) and female (woman),

Wow! A Christian school that sets policy based on the Bible! Who could have seen that coming?? So radical!
The left is so ridiculous. There are tons of schools to choose from if you do not hold to a Christian worldview. This is not complicated. I wouldn't send my child to a Muslim school, or a Jewish school, because I am a Christian. If you are not a Christian, send your child somewhere else. I'm not a rocket scientist or even a biologist, but even I can figure that one out...

Hopefully this will be a wake-up call to Christian schools throughout the country!!!!
I know there are many so-called "Christian" schools that there is absolutely nothing Christian taught or lived at the school!!!! But truly Christian schools need to stand tough on this.
Of course, I'm guessing the number of sodomite "kids" at truly Christian schools is miniscule or non-existent to start with. True Christians don't mess with evil and heresy!!!!!!

Are they being asked to leave or expelled?
Identifying everybody by biological sex instead of imaginary gender is proper, because it's honest and objective.
On the flip side, though, having the code of conduct stipulate expulsion for displays of affection between students of the same sex seems more defensible in a world obsessed by 'inclusivity' than excluding students for being attracted to the same sex.

#4 Gay and transexual are defined by their public actions, not what they are "attracted" to. ie: Being attracted to drugs isn't illegal. Doing drugs is.

I don't believe gender is a biological term but is rather a social construct that started invading political science in the early 90s, like using the word, emote, as a verb. One's sex, determined by XX and XY chromosomes, is biological. Playing the "gender" game is for democrats. The only place where I believe the use of gender is legitimate is in learning foreign languages, like the Romance languages of French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian where all nouns have gender. In Spanish, El Lapiz, with El being a masculine gender for "the", is for the words, the pencil in English. La Pluma, with La being a feminine gender, is for the words, the pen. in English The English language has eliminated such noun-gender distinctions that were the case in Old English. Exceptions include 'he' and 'she', plus 'it' for the terminally confused.

No one is forcing them to go to that school. In fact, I bet that their parents are paying a high price to send their child there. If you do not like the rules at that school, go to a different school. These rules did not suddenly change. They knew going jn what the rules were. I guess that they didn't like sending their child to a public school znd be subjected to CRT and all the hate from Randi Weingarten.

Perfect. There are no "transgendered" people, only mentally ill people parading around and pretending, and causing trouble.

Maybe the old “Dont Ask Dont Tell” policy was a workable alternative to what we are experiencing today. IMO, I really do not care, nor should I have an opinion of who shares a bed with who (straight or gay or what ever).
Consenting partners of legal age have the right to privacy. Commenting on who sleeps with who opens the commenter on their choice of bed partner. “Shoe on the other foot” or “that saw cuts both ways” relates to the issue.

If being "gay" is only about actions (ala 5), that must mean that a boy who is sexually attracted to other boys but doesn't do anything about it is really straight. Too simplistic.
Sexuality begins with the inner movements of attraction (or desire or 'appetite'), which may or may not be outwardly expressed through speech and / or conduct. There's far more to it than that; but the permutations of thought, feeling, word, and action get complicated rather quickly.

Good. In a mini-snit, NBC News added a hair-splitting zinger over the difference between gender and sex, but failed to mention that the school's policy falls far short of what would happen at an Islamic madrassa, where they'd hurl such unfortunates off the roof or stone them to death.
