Lake In The Hills, Ill. (WLS) -- After weeks of online and in-person backlash, a northwest suburban drag show that was planned for Saturday night was abruptly canceled. Not because of the backlash, but because, someone shattered the business' windows and left slurs printed on her bakery overnight, according to the owner. (Snip) When Sac still planned for the show to go on, Sac said any accusation of targeting children is completely false. "We were not targeting kids. We were opening it up to families who felt like (the drag show) was OK for their kids," she said.

I am sick and tired of all the ridiculous "sex" talk... men are men; women are women, and Dems, the Left, and Islam have no good plans for America... only this sick garbage. Further, it is criminal to destroy the innocence of children and pander to nastiness and violence. LGBT and BLM get too much attention... should be ignored and squelched. Patriots have sacrificed hugely for this nation and we need to uphold that, safety & morality, and strength through power in this purposely-twisted world.

“We were opening it up to families who felt like (the drag show) was OK for their kids," says it all. If instead the damage was done preceding a show celebrating the heteronormative, nuclear family? (I know, I know; would never happen). “To take a really fun time, like a drag show, and then make it more family-friendly to involve everyone and anyone,” is wrongheaded. “Drag shows,” are by definition not family-friendly and no amount of lipstick on those pigs will make them so. Why not program kids to stay on the rails as much as possible, to have peaceful and productive and reproductive lives without all the bombarding noise of counterculture? It’s not like any sexual deviancy from the heteronormative is in the closet anymore. So just let children have happy, simple lives while they’re still kids. Their lives will get complicated soon enough. Just wait.

Drag shows, which have been around forever, are burlesque for adults. No drag queen worth his salt would dream of participating in an event for “the entire family.” The noun “groomer” doesn’t refer solely to pedophilia but also applies to foisting propaganda on children. The so-called gay leadership needs to get on board with the vast majority of gay people who want the children left strictly alone. Backlash can be an ugly thing, even when justified. Stick to night clubs, drag queens, and keep out of schools, libraries and bakeries.

French President Emmanuel Macron warned his country’s people Thursday to prepare for a total cutoff of Russian natural gas by supporting alternatives, having public lights switched off at night and engaging in a period of nationwide energy “sobriety.” The Russian invasion of Ukraine and ensuing sanctions have aggravated other factors driving up prices for energy and others goods. With no end in sight for the Ukraine war, Macron said, the French should brace themselves for costs to remain high. “This war will continue,” he said in a televised interview marking France’s national holiday, Bastille Day. “The summer, early autumn will be very hard.”

Shocking video footage has emerged of a young child repeatedly hitting a Minnesota cop who was there to arrest a murder suspect — calling the officer a “b—h” and telling his colleague to “shut the f–k up!” The clip released by Alpha News was filmed last week in St. Paul, a city that saw widespread rioting after the nearby police murder of George of Floyd and manslaughter of motorist Daunte Wright. “Shut up, b—h!” screamed the young child, who appeared to be only a few years old and wearing just underwear while standing in the street, with an even younger child in a diaper just behind him.

Colonial Williamsburg is the world’s largest living museum, and a place visited and loved by many conservatives, traditionalists, homeschoolers, and classical education devotees. Williamsburg is beloved precisely because, for decades, it has faithfully depicted the founding culture of America in a meticulously recreated, and often re-enacted, Revolutionary-era capital. This depiction included America’s undeniably traditional, Western, largely Judeo-Christian roots. But now Williamsburg has gone woke. In doing so, its leadership and staff are displaying conspicuous enmity toward the highly reasoned position held by America’s founders—a position at odds with today’s LGBT dogma. The leak rocked the federal judiciary, the American political scene, and led to an ugly campaign to intimidate Supreme Court justices, inspiring one assassination plot that thankfully went nowhere. Almost three months later, though, the leaker has seemingly escaped detection and punishment. Are they even still investigating the leak? Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin suggested that abortion bans in some states could actually violate religious beliefs in a column on Sunday. Rubin introduced the subject by referencing a lawsuit brought up by the Jewish Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor against the 15-week abortion ban in Florida. The congregation argued that Jewish law "does not consider life to begin at conception or at 15 weeks" and refusing an abortion could violate their beliefs. Though Rubin questioned whether this would sufficiently infringe on "First Amendment rights and the state constitution’s free-exercise clause," she still considered the issue "important."
