When I joined the US Army in 2011, the training I received — beginning with ROTC, then infantry officer school, followed by Airborne and Ranger schools — focused on preparing me and my fellow soldiers to prevail in battle. I fear for our country if/when "the balloon goes up." I was part of the Vietnam-era draftee Army, and even we had better leaders than the Woke Bozos supposedly "in charge" today.

the deliberate actions by the demcommie party and this cardboard cut out they have representing them are the reasons our country is in such dire straits, at present. we had the right President at the right time and between the communist press, communist college faculties at noted educational institutions and communists within our own federal government, they brought down, temporarily I might add, our only chance to rise above the rest of the world and become the greatest nation that we are supposed to be - every single act was deliberate and intended to destroy our nation and us, as a people

FTA: "This revolution treats the military as yet another American institution whose traditions must be targeted". I blame them for allowing it to happen. They have shown that they love their benefits and pensions more than the country and the oath they took. And don't give me the chain of command BS.

The military has been a social test bed since Truman integrated in 1948. "Wokeness" is just a further extension of this "tradition." Turn it up a few more degrees from integrating blacks into the ranks - from banish homosexuals...Don't ask, don't tell...recognize open homosexuals as soldiers...expand recognition to other deviants...raise the Pride flag. Worry about war...with whom? War today is economic, not military battles and capitulation - certainly not involving nuclear powers against one another.

The comments below the article talk of a draft. That will only occur if an armed foreign military force actually invaded the USA. Otherwise the “woke” Leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats will never allow their young family members to be drafted and be sent to fight in any foreign war where they could be killed or wounded. It’s a lot more likely that if the DC politicians strike up a draft related merry tune that very few draftees would show up. Right now it is being reported that the US military is only able to achieve about 40% of their recruiting quotas so that should tell you something. Don’t think that America’s potential enemies don’t know all that!

French President Emmanuel Macron warned his country’s people Thursday to prepare for a total cutoff of Russian natural gas by supporting alternatives, having public lights switched off at night and engaging in a period of nationwide energy “sobriety.” The Russian invasion of Ukraine and ensuing sanctions have aggravated other factors driving up prices for energy and others goods. With no end in sight for the Ukraine war, Macron said, the French should brace themselves for costs to remain high. “This war will continue,” he said in a televised interview marking France’s national holiday, Bastille Day. “The summer, early autumn will be very hard.”

Shocking video footage has emerged of a young child repeatedly hitting a Minnesota cop who was there to arrest a murder suspect — calling the officer a “b—h” and telling his colleague to “shut the f–k up!” The clip released by Alpha News was filmed last week in St. Paul, a city that saw widespread rioting after the nearby police murder of George of Floyd and manslaughter of motorist Daunte Wright. “Shut up, b—h!” screamed the young child, who appeared to be only a few years old and wearing just underwear while standing in the street, with an even younger child in a diaper just behind him.

You don’t need to be a psychiatrist to know that the Highland Park shooter is sick in the head. Violence in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood erupted early Monday as Pride celebrations were wrapping up, when two separate incidents left several people hurt and in the hospital. At least one person is in critical condition from gunfire, and another in serious condition after being stabbed, police say. The first incident occurred at 1:27 a.m. in the 3100 block of North Clark St., when police say three people were shot while standing outside. (Snip) The violence in both neighborhoods comes as Chicago police say they are stepping up patrols in certain areas during the summer months, a time in Chicago that historically sees an increase in violent crime.

Parents are being urged to ensure their children are up to date with their polio vaccinations, particularly after the pandemic when school immunisation schemes were disrupted. Colonial Williamsburg is the world’s largest living museum, and a place visited and loved by many conservatives, traditionalists, homeschoolers, and classical education devotees. Williamsburg is beloved precisely because, for decades, it has faithfully depicted the founding culture of America in a meticulously recreated, and often re-enacted, Revolutionary-era capital. This depiction included America’s undeniably traditional, Western, largely Judeo-Christian roots. But now Williamsburg has gone woke. In doing so, its leadership and staff are displaying conspicuous enmity toward the highly reasoned position held by America’s founders—a position at odds with today’s LGBT dogma. It’s not merely during Pride month, which Williamsburg now celebrates. Colonial Williamsburg has established an ongoing Gender

Long-time political strategist Dick Morris, formerly of the Clinton camp before coming to the light some years ago, penned a piece for Newsmax yesterday that predicted a 2016 rematch pitting twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton against former president – and America’s most popular politician – Donald Trump. Clinton just can’t give it a rest. She has rested her entire legacy on one day sitting in the Oval Office as this nation’s first female president. Of course, her party can’t define the term “woman” anymore, and then there’s the fact that she hates this country and most of the deplorables living in it.

But since his heroic actions contradict the carefully-cultivated left-wing narrative, a number of prominent voices have immediately risen up to demonize the young man. Case in point: the majority of the hosts on ABC’s “The View,” whose considered opinion is that Dicken just got “very lucky,” and was probably as bad as the mass shooter since he “broke the law” when he carried his gun into the mall. As the United States continues to come to grips with the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, I cannot stop thinking about how the court used a legal system built entirely by men to diminish women — once again — into nothing more than a vessel for producing babies. I am a rabbi in a legal system that excluded women for thousands of years, much like the legal system that the Supreme Court relied on in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. But unlike the American legal system, the Jewish tradition, in certain respects, including abortion, found a way to craft laws grounded in equal dignity for women.

In the past fifty years, we’ve had precisely ten different First Ladies in America. Some of them spent their time in the White House mostly under the radar, with Rosalynn Carter and both Laura and Barbara Bush falling into this category. Others such as Nancy Reagan with her fondness for astronomy and Betty Ford with her personal challenges were somewhat quirkier, but they were likeable and mostly unremarkable. Both Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama could be outspoken and controversial, but at least they were mostly clever and competent. And then we have Jill Biden.
