Elisjsha Dicken, the 22-year-old who saved countless lives on Sunday after neutralizing a mass shooter with his handgun, is by all sane measures a true hero in a country that desperately needs one.
But since his heroic actions contradict the carefully-cultivated left-wing narrative, a number of prominent voices have immediately risen up to demonize the young man. Case in point: the majority of the hosts on ABC’s “The View,” whose considered opinion is that Dicken just got “very lucky,” and was probably as bad as the mass shooter since he “broke the law” when he carried his gun into the mall.
It all started, naturally, with co-host Joy Behar,

He broke a mall rule. That’s all. That rule has now been demonstrated to put customers at risk. He saved lives and damaged their narrative. Now we know what matters more to them.

Everything about these broads is out of proportion and lacking perspective. (Including their physical presence, having far more backsides than brains.) No surprise to see that abundantly demonstrated on this particular matter.

Clearly the folks on the View have never been in a gun fight or under fire in combat. Their harping is very cheap and is not worth a hill of beans.

If these stupid women want to give their ridiculous opinions maybe they should take 5 minutes to verify what they are saying. They’re already an embarrassing laughing stock. Why make it worse?

To Hell with these ignorant, lying witches.
He DID NOT break any law. Hard fact.
A 'mall policy' of "no guns allowed" is NOT A LAW. If he had been discovered as being armed by some representative of the mall owners, and asked to leave, and then refused to leave until police were called, THAT could be trespassing.
It never came anywhere NEAR that situation.
Note to CCW folks. States have very different laws. Missouri, for instance, makes it extremely clear in their CCW law that NO violation of "place restrictions" is ever a crime, it is AT WORST (exact quote) " an offense against the license", with a first time maximum penalty of $50. This is written in the Missouri law that the offender has to be notified that he/she is in violation, asked to leave, and refuse to leave, and remain until the police arrive. Stated just that way in the law. THEN, max $50, NOT a crime. Second offense (!??) is $100 max. No sane person would ever refuse and remain to be fined, let alone twice.
BUT - some states make violation of places a FELONY, which will lose you your 2nd Amendment rights, so know your state laws, for certain.

Really - who watches these idiots?
He didn't break any laws. As for “luck” - he fired 10 rounds starting from 40 yards away, and he hit the gunman 8 times. That’s not luck, that’s proficiency.

To them, it would have been better if more people had been shot than for some good guy with a gun to take the shooter out.

He did not break any Indiana law. Indiana law does not recognize any weapons postings as being enforceable by law. One can be asked to leave and if refusing to do so, can be trespassed. This young man is a real hero who broke no laws, and saved countless lives.
When seconds count, police are minutes away.

What do you think they'd say if they happened to be at that very mall, or a family member was, only to have this young man there at the right place and the right time, to essentially save their life?
I hope someone starts to ask the question, what is triggering these young men around 18-22 who have committed these acts of violence?
I seem to recall reading the Highland Park shooter say something to the effect he knew what he needed to do and was ready to carry it out.
As if someone was giving him instructions.
None of them seem to be mensa candidates either, but one of them wrote 180 pages of manifesto?

IIRC, if you have a concealed carry permit aren't you entitled to take your weapon wherever you want to? I am sure there are hundreds of still breathing people who would strongly disagree with the Cows of The Spew. They really know how to look ridiculous.

When live and TV viewing audiences hang on the words of a few mental midgets, you must conclude that we as a nation are in serious trouble. God samaritans need to be encouraged, not censured. You can’t fix stupid.

If I can't carry my firearm into a shopping mall, I won't shop there, it's just that simple.
If you expect me to leave my carry weapon in my car while I shop, you can forget that scat too, that's how so many guns get into the hands of criminals. They break into vehicles suspected of having firearms inside (hint: NEVER put a gun manufacturer's sticker on your car, or cute bumper stickers like, "This Truck is Insured by Samuel Colt," or other such inanity).
I wish one of these morons on "The Spew" could find themself in a similar situation as the people in that food court, then make them come clean on what they were thinking in the moment. We call it terror for a good reason. People poop themselves and even have heart attacks under such stress... and you won't know how you'll react until you're there.

Particularly pretty is Joy Behar presenting herself as a firearms "expert", with Federal Training...but calling what this young man did as "wrong" and just "Luck".
I guess she would prefer the guy was able to fire all 100 rounds he had with him...25shots in 15 seconds?, within just ONE minute he could have fired the rest...and cops were only 5 minutes away.

Re #21, all states have some areas which the make off limit. Many states are very reasonable. Kansas, for example permits CCW in all government buildings, including the state legislature. Only government buildings which have ALL entrances guarded with armed guards, metal detectors and lockers for storage of guns may restrict access. This is pretty much ONLY police departments.
Other states, like NY, prohibit carry almost everywhere, literally, with their new law. All parks, sidewalks, buildings, transit, transit stations, etc, etc, etc. Their INTENT is to make it actually impossible to carry, even if you have a permit because EVERYWHERE is a 'prohibited place', and a felony to violate. This law will be challenged and I think will be struck down by the courts.
And there is everything in between. Know your state laws.

To the very smart ladies and gentlemen who post on this fine website I want to make two things perfectly clear. 1. The young man saved lives that day at the mall. 2. The View is the stupidest show on TV in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-two. That is all.
