Elisjsha Dicken, the 22-year-old who saved countless lives on Sunday after neutralizing a mass shooter with his handgun, is by all sane measures a true hero in a country that desperately needs one. But since his heroic actions contradict the carefully-cultivated left-wing narrative, a number of prominent voices have immediately risen up to demonize the young man. Case in point: the majority of the hosts on ABC’s “The View,” whose considered opinion is that Dicken just got “very lucky,” and was probably as bad as the mass shooter since he “broke the law” when he carried his gun into the mall. Former first lady Melania Trump breaks her silence on the January protests at the U.S. Capitol for the first time.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said she was “fulfilling” her official duties as the first lady during the infamous events that day.
“On January 6, 2021, I was fulfilling one of my duties as First Lady of the United States of America, and accordingly, I was unaware of what was simultaneously transpiring at the U.S. Capitol Building,” Trump said.
Her comments follow after her former Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham alleged that Trump did not immediately sign off on a statement condemning the protests.
Every reasonably honest observer knows the corporate media has a liberal bias. That bias is displayed more often in the topics they choose to emphasize than in outright misinformation. We all know the major narratives that the media is trying to drive home. There is none bigger than the idea that Republicans have become extreme, out of the mainstream and even dangerous. As if we needed more issues to compound the supply chain crisis, trucker protests have entered their fourth day at Oakland’s ports. The problem with these protests is that the truckers who are demonstrating are justified.
These protests are against California’s recent law that treats freelancers, independent contractors, and other “gig workers” as employees, and since the state refuses to listen to the protesters, they’re digging in further.
