An attorney representing Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) appeared before the court Monday in an effort to shut down Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares’ grand jury investigation into the Virginia school district. Within hours after appearing in court, the motion for an injunction failed and the investigation will continue, 7News reporter Nick Minock tweeted Monday afternoon. The hearing was closed to the public and the transcript was sealed. The investigation, mandated by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, was launched after the same high school transgender student allegedly sexually assaulted two females

Now why would a public school want to halt an investigation into a 'sexual assault?' Could it be? superintendent Scott Ziegler’s claim that concerns about mixed-gender bathrooms were overblown because the district had no record of any assaults having occurred in district bathroom..... I think Louden County parents need to take back their school board.

I didn’t see any of the school board’s reasoning for suppressing an investigation. I liked the part about arresting the father of the 15 year old girl who was raped for having the temerity to raise the matter before the school board. Very very Dim; pedo peter poopy pants (see other article) would love having the parents of his victims also abused. Very very Dim.

Female students are no less entitled to privacy and safety than are male students. The notion that some biological males can only be accommodated by allowing them to use female restrooms, showers and dressing rooms overlooks the obvious: Granting biological males access to female spaces simultaneously grants males access to female students. Advocates for forcing females to share their spaces with males argue that such men are often targets of bigoted men wishing to harm them, and are therefore "safer" in female spaces. They insist such men are no threat to women. This "argument" completely ignores the fact that men wishing to harm women also exist and seek access to victims. LCPS tried to prevent the Virginia AG from investigating claims that "a boy in a skirt" had harmed two different females, but their arguments failed and now the public will learn how this not so benign "accommodation" harmed female students. It's well past time that as a nation, we stop pretending biological males seeking access to female spaces can only be accommodated by forcing females to give up their own safety and privacy.

So the far leftist school board felt that the state's constitution protected them from criminal investigations? Now that is a gutsy attitude. Shocked it took a judge, even a hard leftist activist, elected state judge, hours to figure out the motion had no legal merit.

It's really simple - - it's OK for men to sexually assault women - - as long as the men are women. Why can't L-Dotter's understand that?

#7, my daughter and her family live in Loudoun County and she has two toddlers who are not even in pre-school yet. She had never voted in anything other than presidential elections, but last year she voted for Youngkin for no other reason than what is happening in the county’s schools. She is planning to put her kids in a Christian school or if that is not available, she will home school them. So, yes, a lot of parents are paying attention. If they weren’t, Youngkin would not have won.

reports back then were: the psychopervs on the board had their police thugs ready to physically attack the father of the 15 year old girl . the cops violently ripped off his clothes in public , australian style, and hauled him out by his arms, with his trousers yanked down around his ankles so that he could not walk. sounds very very seeseepee btw, we heard old horror stories from ppl who grew up and moved out of loudon that cops pulled over young women in the dark of night to strip search them. very very old family tradition?

Loyal readers will know that I’ve been covering the decline of the American comic book industry for some time and noting that readership has primarily been dominated by Japanese Manga. American comic book companies like DC and Marvel have been shooting themselves in the foot for years as they allowed social justice and woke culture to infect their characters and storylines to the point where they’ve become unreadable. But while many of us have been content to complain about it and abandon American comics altogether, YouTuber Eric July (aka YoungRippa59) decided to do something about it. July began working with artists and writers to create the “Rippaverse,” a new comic universe

Twitter filed suit against Elon Musk in the Delaware Court of Chancery on Tuesday after the billionaire said he was terminating his $44 billion deal to buy the company. Twitter said Musk, after entering a binding merger agreement, now "refuses to honor his obligations to Twitter and its stockholders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests." Twitter's suit was expected after Musk said late last week that he no longer plans to buy the social network, citing Twitter bots and claiming that the company didn't give him the information he needed to evaluate the deal.

Tallahassee, Fla. — Democrats are turning on Democrats over abortion. Democrats running for governor in several states have started publicly chiding their primary opponents for not doing enough to ensure abortion rights in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. In Florida, Democratic Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has hammered Rep. Charlie Crist (D-Fla.), a former Republican governor of the state, for his convoluted and evolving stance on abortion. Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee was criticized by his primary rivals for not going far enough to protect abortion access in the state.

We’re just a few short months away from the midterm elections which, if polling and the sentiment of most Americans are reliable indicators, are going to be absolutely brutal for Democrats looking to maintain their razor-thin majorities in the House and Senate. The writing on the wall is so bad for Democrats right now that there’s an open rebellion taking place within, with frustrated Democrats angrily pointing to Joe Biden – and each other – as the reasons why they are predicted to lose a not so insignificant number of seats and perhaps even their hold on Congress come the fall in what some have predicted might be “historic” midterm election year losses

The American people's trust in news outlets has hit a historic low, according to Gallup’s annual survey on confidence in major U.S. institutions. It's like they've discovered that "straight news" isn't their primary goal. Both newspapers and television news have seen another drop in confidence over the past year, with each losing an average five percent of people who said they had a “great deal” of trust in such institutions. Gallup has been measuring "confidence in institutions" since 1973, and annually since 1993. Television news is now considered the second least-trusted institution in America, after Congress,

The Brittney Griner story has been one which tears at us from two sides. When we hear about an American being detained in a foreign country for offenses which are considered minor here in the U.S., we often become sympathetic, depending on the infraction, of course. During a cold snap in the winter of 2021, however, wind turbines froze and many Texans found themselves without electricity.
