The Biden administration said Monday that hospitals must ensure patients can receive abortions when deemed medically necessary in emergency situations in spite of bans in many states on the procedure in most cases. The Department of Health and Human Services said a federal law, the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act, stipulates that physicians must perform an abortion in an emergency regardless of state law. "Under the law, no matter where you live, women have the right to emergency care — including abortion care,”

Like Satan himself Biden has "abortion" on whatever brain he still has. Long before Roe, in an emergency situation hospitals would always end up (hopefully) saving the life of the mother after trying their best to save both mother and baby. But this is not abortion as people think of it.

What BS. There is not an er or hospital in the country that would not treat a woman with miscarriage problems. I also really can’t understand the left’s obsession with murdering unborn babies. That’s what it is…murder. They can spin it anyway they want but it’s murder. Accept it for what it is…murder.

If she's bleeding out or has an ectopic pregnancy of course they're going to help her. But "I changed my mind" is not an emergency.

Sigh. #6 - look up ectopic pregnancy. And for the record, many women have difficult and dangerous pregnancies. I think you must not read those stories. My mother had one and had several bleeding episodes during her third pregnancy. My cousin also had dangerous pregnancies and almost died. She was catholic and back then they believed you let the woman die, you never abort the baby. You want' to go back to that?

As usual, the devil is in the details. What will constitute an emergency? Who determines that an "emergency" is bona fide? Will prosecutors--federal or local--reexamine the case? Will some jury somewhere determine whether the physician made a good or bad call? How much will the hospital or physician have to pay attorneys to argue on their behalf? Yes, there are indeed emergency abortions that are undertaken to save the life of the mother. That is already the case. Looks to me like Biden is trying to make it appear that he's the one calling the shots to insure that emergency abortions will be accessible--not the hospital/physician/health care provider. He's full of it. He's has read the polls about his failing presidency and has heard the lefties telling him to act tougher. It's all an act. He just wants to be back on the beach in Delaware, eating ice cream. But Dr. Jill is pushing him into actions he doesn't even understand, so she can maintain her "First Lady" position.

President Joe Biden admitted Tuesday he gets confused every time he hears the presidential anthem “Hail to the Chief.” “Every time I hear ‘Hail to the Chief,’ I wonder, where the hell is he?” Biden said as he began speaking to members of Congress at the annual White House Congressional Picnic. Biden continued by clarifying he was not joking. “You think I’m joking, I’m not,” he continued with a chuckle. “[I] turn around and say, ‘Where is the President?'” Biden continued his remarks, sounding a nostalgic note by recounting how he used to sit in the Senate dining room with his colleagues. “I wish we were able

Pro-abortion fanatic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has called to shut down crisis pregnancy centers “all around the country” for their work in helping women seek alternatives to abortion. Speaking with reporters, a visibly upset Warren falsely accused crisis pregnancy centers of fooling women out of getting an abortion: In Massachusetts, right now, those ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ that are there to fool people who are looking for pregnancy termination help outnumber true abortion clinics by 3-t0-1. We need to shut them down here in Massachusetts and we need to shut them down all around the country.

Loyal readers will know that I’ve been covering the decline of the American comic book industry for some time and noting that readership has primarily been dominated by Japanese Manga. American comic book companies like DC and Marvel have been shooting themselves in the foot for years as they allowed social justice and woke culture to infect their characters and storylines to the point where they’ve become unreadable. But while many of us have been content to complain about it and abandon American comics altogether, YouTuber Eric July (aka YoungRippa59) decided to do something about it. July began working with artists and writers to create the “Rippaverse,” a new comic universe

Tallahassee, Fla. — Democrats are turning on Democrats over abortion. Democrats running for governor in several states have started publicly chiding their primary opponents for not doing enough to ensure abortion rights in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. In Florida, Democratic Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has hammered Rep. Charlie Crist (D-Fla.), a former Republican governor of the state, for his convoluted and evolving stance on abortion. Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee was criticized by his primary rivals for not going far enough to protect abortion access in the state.

The Brittney Griner story has been one which tears at us from two sides. When we hear about an American being detained in a foreign country for offenses which are considered minor here in the U.S., we often become sympathetic, depending on the infraction, of course. In the case of Brittney Griner, however, things aren’t that simple. Griner, who has been detained in a Russian prison since her arrest at a Moscow airport for possession of cannabis oil
