Eric July Is About to Do What Marvel and
DC Comics Couldn't...Attract Readers

Loyal readers will know that I’ve been covering the decline of the American comic book industry for some time and noting that readership has primarily been dominated by Japanese Manga. American comic book companies like DC and Marvel have been shooting themselves in the foot for years as they allowed social justice and woke culture to infect their characters and storylines to the point where they’ve become unreadable. But while many of us have been content to complain about it and abandon American comics altogether, YouTuber Eric July (aka YoungRippa59) decided to do something about it. July began working with artists and writers to create the “Rippaverse,” a new comic universe

I've been a big fan of comics since the 70s and a huge fan of YoungRippa59 aka Eric July since PDJT came down that Trump Tower escalator and changed the world. July isn't just an expert on all things comic book related but he's a Black Libertarian and outspoken critic of all things woke, leftist and democrat. Such as DC and Marvel Comics. For that alone he gets attacked and called the usual names racists call a Black person who isn't a democrat lemming. I look forward to supporting the new Rippaverse.

I guess Marvel and others like them don’t realize that offending half their potential audience with wokeism is not a good business idea. I do think that there seems to be a few corporations waking up to this fact.

I outgrew comic books about 70 years ago. I will admit that while raising my kids, I developed an affinity for Saturday morning cartoon shows, so I'm a fan of Wily & Roadrunner, Bugs and Yosemity Sam and the old Loony Tune gang. Now days, I get more pleasure from a good book!

Elon Musk engaged in a war of words with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesday after the left-leaning anchor criticized his decision to post a critical Hunter Biden meme. Ruhle slammed Musk in response to the post, which featured a man with several cameras strapped to his head and the caption “Hunter Biden every time he buys crack and hookers.” “Imagine the positive impact you could have on the world if you used the extraordinary amount of influence and power you have to spread decency, kindness and positivity?” tweeted the host of the cable network’s show “The 11th Hour” in response to Musk’s meme. To which Musk fired back:

CNN data analyst Harry Enten said Wednesday on “Anderson Cooper 360” that the presidency of Joe Biden is being eaten alive by record inflation. Enten said, “Back in July of 2021, a year ago, no one was saying inflation was a concern outside of Larry Summers. Then it started picking up in December of 2021. Now, it is a clear number one issue, and we see this clear correlation as more people are concerned about inflation, Joe Biden’s disapproval rating climbs ever higher.” Cooper said, “Larry Summers did get it right.” Enten said, “He did.” He added, “Yeah, so we can look at both Joe Biden’s disapproval rating on inflation

Just remember, as bad as today’s consumer-price index read on inflation is, it could have been worse. One man has stood in the way of Joe Biden’s ambitions to flood the economy with trillions in off-budget government spending even after Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan touched off the worst inflationary wave in 40-plus years. The $5 trillion Build Back Better plan would have acted like a nuclear explosion for inflation. We all know who kept us from the brink of disaster. Here’s a reminder from last month: For almost a year now, Chuck Schumer has tried to cut a deal with Joe Manchin to get something passed under reconciliation.

Police arrested a man, who is believed to be an illegal immigrant, on Tuesday after he allegedly raped and impregnated a ten-year-old girl who reportedly traveled from Ohio to Indiana for an abortion, according to the Columbus Dispatch. The outlet reported that 27-year-old Gershon Fuentes confessed to raping the ten-year-old child on at least two occasions. The child became the subject of national media attention after the Indianapolis Star reported earlier this month that an Indianapolis-based obstetrician-gynecologist named Caitlin Bernard was asked by a child-abuse doctor in Ohio to help the young girl get an abortion

Pro-abortion fanatic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has called to shut down crisis pregnancy centers “all around the country” for their work in helping women seek alternatives to abortion. Speaking with reporters, a visibly upset Warren falsely accused crisis pregnancy centers of fooling women out of getting an abortion: In Massachusetts, right now, those ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ that are there to fool people who are looking for pregnancy termination help outnumber true abortion clinics by 3-t0-1. We need to shut them down here in Massachusetts and we need to shut them down all around the country.

Twitter filed suit against Elon Musk in the Delaware Court of Chancery on Tuesday after the billionaire said he was terminating his $44 billion deal to buy the company. Twitter said Musk, after entering a binding merger agreement, now "refuses to honor his obligations to Twitter and its stockholders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests." Twitter's suit was expected after Musk said late last week that he no longer plans to buy the social network, citing Twitter bots and claiming that the company didn't give him the information he needed to evaluate the deal.

Tallahassee, Fla. — Democrats are turning on Democrats over abortion. Democrats running for governor in several states have started publicly chiding their primary opponents for not doing enough to ensure abortion rights in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. In Florida, Democratic Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has hammered Rep. Charlie Crist (D-Fla.), a former Republican governor of the state, for his convoluted and evolving stance on abortion. Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee was criticized by his primary rivals for not going far enough to protect abortion access in the state.

Democrats are facing their worst political environment in over a decade heading into November’s mid-term elections. Republicans lead the generic ballot and hold a solid structural advantage in competing for the House of Representatives. And despite concerns about candidate quality, the GOP is also favored to take control of the Senate. The correlation between presidential approval and their party’s mid-term prospects also can’t be ignored. Joe Biden has hit the lowest poll numbers of his term, with a recent Times/Siena poll showing him at just 33 percent approval with only 13 percent believing the country is on the right track. But for the 2024 race, Shaftan’s mother and millions of other Republicans are starting to look past Trump to others more engaged on problems shocking the nation and taking on President Joe Biden.

A California bill signed into law Tuesday will allow residents to sue the manufacturers of guns that are used in crimes. A 2005 federal law prevents gun manufacturers from civil litigation when their products are used in crimes. The office of Gov. Gavin Newsom said the new state law uses an exemption to the federal law that allows firearms makers or sellers to be sued for violating state laws on the sale or marketing of guns. “To the victims of gun violence and their families: California stands with you. The gun industry can no longer hide from the devastating harm their products cause,” Mr. Newsom said in a news release.

Inflation accelerated to an explosive 9.1% for the 12 months ending in June, according to the consumer price index, the highest level in four decades. The much-anticipated numbers reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday revealed that inflation is still going strong despite the Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes and is near the worst it has been since the Great Inflation that helped bring President Ronald Reagan to office. The soaring inflation has eaten into President Joe Biden’s approval ratings as he and Democrats approach the midterm elections. Consumer prices have been rising fast since last August, especially for staples such as food and gas.

Another 52 percent said that the costs of buying and maintaining an electric vehicle are cost-prohibitive. Another 46 percent of the respondents stated they have not heard of any financial incentives available for owners of electric vehicles.
