President Joe Biden on Thursday said that American motorists should expect to pay elevated prices for gasoline until the Russia–Ukraine war is over.
In a press conference following the NATO summit in Madrid, Biden was questioned about how long people should pay higher gas prices.
“How long is it fair to expect American drivers and drivers around the world to pay a premium for this war?” a New York Times reporter asked Biden.
“As long as it takes,” Biden said in response, “so that Russia cannot in fact defeat Ukraine and move beyond Ukraine.”
“This is a critical, critical position for the world,” he added, again blaming the elevated gas prices on the

The price of gas has NOTHING to do with the war in the Ukraine. It has to do with Biden's stupid green policies and closing pipelines and stopping drilling leases.

What an obtuse, arrogant answer. The half witted Biden deserves a slap across his plastic, snipped, tucked, horse-toothed, cruel-eyed face followed by a nozzle from one of his favorite gasoline station’s pumps inserted directly…well….in his gas tank.

Do not forget that this is all part of their desire to punish people, and bring pain, in hopes of forcing a change the desire.
Obama mentioned how he was not opposed higher prices just that they went up too fast, back when he was President.
And, a whole lot more comes out of a barrel of oil than gasoline.
It fuels airplanes, boats, and produces a multitude of products used every day.

joey's always spouting lies about the oil companies gouging with their pump prices. Why doesn't he DEMAND that the electric car manufacturers lower their prices to below those of gas-powered cars? That would certainly help us with the great reset to clean air for all.

Idiot. When you came into office we were energy independent and gas was reasonable. Your first action as Potus was to shut down Keystone. Just a quick question for you…why is an oil pipeline here a bad idea but a Russian pipeline is perfectly fine?

It is obvious that President Mannequin is just using the war between Russia & Ukraine as a CYA excuse, even though everybody knows it is the President's polices, not the war tat is causing the price increases. President Mannequin cares as much about American families struggling as he would a fly he would swat away.

The democrats are really thinking of letting this idiot run in 2024 AND letting Harris be the VP again? What are they thinking?
We get less than 5% of our oil from Russia, OPEC is at maximum capacity, no company will invest in refineries here due to the anti-fossil fuel movement, the government will not allow for permitting of new refineries in the country and I also believe the government will not permit for new nuclear power plants, and the government will not allow for drilling in the US...and he is blaming the war in Ukraine and Russia for high gas prices. Does he really think people believe this?

On January 22nd 2021 the Keystone XL union jobs unemployment jumped by 5,000 workers. Also on that day already permitted federal land drilling was halted (in progress) and the fascist Democrats unleashed the EPA and Bureau of Land Management on existing recovery. I predicted his puppetmaster's tyranny would mean $4.50/gallon in June 2022 but this getting far worse. Voters are not very bright!

Biden and Dems are using the Ukrainian war as cover for their failed economic policies. If not for the war who would they blame for inflation? They are taking full advantage of the old Democrat saying “never let a crisis go to waste”. They will help continue to help Ukraine just enough to prolong the war. That’s straight outta the Dem play book. They couldn’t care less about the mayhem & destruction occurring there.

FTA, “Also during the news conference, the president said he will not ask Saudi Arabia to raise its oil production when he visits the kingdom in July.” It wasn’t long ago that we heard that Biden would go to Saudi Arabia to grovel at their feet begging them to increase oil production. What changed his mind? Is it because he was told by Macron a few days ago that Saudi Arabia’s production was already at near capacity?

The world oligarchs are happy...they have their war...and war is good business...and WE pheasants must pay their price at the pump...of course sleepy Joe doesn't have to worry...he's being driven around and fed with no expense to himself...and the greenies have their war against fuel driven cars...but...the electric cars are fueled by batteries made in china and the facilities providing the energy are run by coal...or didn't they know that....

Bear in mind that the greenies and Obama don't just want to shut down automobiles and the internal combustion engine, they also want Americans to live in high-rise apartments and condos, where they can take public transportation (electric trains and buses) when they need to travel, and do without cars at all. Think North Korea.
