Do not forget that this is all part of their desire to punish people, and bring pain, in hopes of forcing a change the desire. Obama mentioned how he was not opposed higher prices just that they went up too fast, back when he was President. And, a whole lot more comes out of a barrel of oil than gasoline. It fuels airplanes, boats, and produces a multitude of products used every day.

Rex Chapman, a former NBA player who had a short-lived show on the short-lived CNN+ streaming service suggested that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is a “black white supremacist” in the wake of the Dobbs ruling, and seemed to suggest Thomas wasn’t authentically black because he’s never seen him attend an NBA game. Chapman first shared a video on Twitter of a 2018 graduation event at Christendom College that showed Thomas and the son of the late Justice Antonin Scalia, among other graduates. “Not another person of color in the picture…” Chapman observed. “I think the thing I think is most funny about this is that these white kids

Then-President Donald Trump angrily demanded to go to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and berated his protective detail when he didn't get his way, according to two Secret Service sources who say they heard about the incident from multiple agents, including the driver of the presidential SUV where it occurred. The sources tell CNN that stories circulated about the incident -- including details that are similar to how former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson described it to the House select committee investigating January 6 -- in the months immediately afterward the US Capitol attack and before she testified this week. While the details from those who heard the accounts

Support from some of the Republican Party’s biggest donors for a 2024 White House run by former President Donald Trump is dwindling, especially after damaging new details of his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, were revealed at a hearing Tuesday by the House select committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Republican financiers and their advisors have been privately meeting since the committee started to release the initial findings of its probe in a series of public hearings earlier this month, according to interviews with top GOP fundraisers who have helped the party raise millions of dollars. Most of the people asked not to be named because

Despite our fondest hopes, Meghan Markle just won’t go away. She’s like a bad penny and keeps turning up in the strangest of places. For instance, we are now given to understand that Markle is furious over the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and that her husband — who apparently was once an individual of some importance, and was even in line for the British throne — is a “feminist.” (snip) one gets a distinct feeling that Markle’s husband is whatever Markle wants him to be. In any case, the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly (snip) even contemplating entering US politics

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar said that her arrival in Minnesota exposed her to more gun violence than living in an east African refugee camp did. Speaking at the Gun Violence Community Conversation at North High in Minneapolis on Thursday, Omar said: 'For six years, I had the privilege of not seeing any violence, until I moved to Minnesota.' Omar continued: 'My first year in Minnesota I both saw a person shot at Peavey Park, dead on the floor, three weeks after my father and I arrived in Minneapolis. Six months later I watched the Minneapolis police put 38 bullets into the body of a mentally disabled Somali immigrant who didn't

Biden economic advisor Brian Deese said that Americans should 'stand firm' on paying record-high gas prices because the 'future of the liberal world order' is more important. 'What do you say to those families that say, 'listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?' the director of the National Economic Council was asked on CNN Thursday. 'What you heard from the president today was a clear articulation of the stakes. This is about the future of the Liberal World Order and we have to stand firm,' he replied.(Snip)'The Liberal World Order?! These people are nuts!' Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., wrote

The plight of female basketball star Brittney Griner relating to her arrest on drug charges in Russia earlier this year is even more uncertain than ever. Yesterday in a court near Moscow, the legal prosecution of Ms. Griner finally began, with her trial kicking off in an abbreviated session. Prosecutors had intended to call on four witnesses, but only two showed up to give testimony. Cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, but footage of Griner entering the proceedings showed her sporting a white and black Jimi Hendrix t-shirt. Media reports after the court had adjourned explained that during her time in the courtroom,

Not since the decade leading up to the Civil War has there been as much discussion about the possibility of the United States splitting into two or more countries as there has been in the past 10 years. The reality is that this nation has effectively split into two countries which are, for the moment, tenuously living side-by-side. Race or ethnicity has been the underlying foundation in the creation of every nation in the history of mankind except the United States, as its founding was based on the tenet that all men are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights that government cannot abrogate.
