Following Landmark Second Amendment Decision,
SCOTUS Overturns Appeals Court Decisions

The Supreme Court followed up its June 23 landmark ruling that for the first time recognized a constitutional right to carry firearms in public for self-defense, by issuing a series of rulings June 30 reversing federal appeals court decisions that upheld gun restrictions in California, New Jersey, Maryland, and Hawaii. Courts will find it difficult to uphold the firearms laws in question after the high court’s June 30 and June 23 rulings. In unsigned orders, all four cases were remanded June 30 to lower courts “for further consideration in light of” the Supreme Court’s June 23 decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen. In that 6–3 ruling,

So, the ten round mag limits are TOAST. Great news. And Hawaii is going to be forced into issuing CCW permits based on objective standards. Same for NJ and California. The Second Amendment means EXACTLY what it says. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed." Very simple, very clear.

No Government, whether Federal, State or local can go around the following: "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." We are the people. The Government has no right of approval to us owning or bearing any kind of arms. Period. Get used to it. Get armed. Get trained. You are the true first responder. Not the Police. They do not protect, they react, in most cases too late to be effective. You are your protector.

The Maryland communists are messing in their pants. We can't have law abiding people carrying guns to protect themselves. Only criminals are allowed to carry.

Might I suggest the SCOTUS is doing an incomplete Job...What they need to do is Preclude any state or other governmental entity from passing ANY FUTURE LAWS restricting gun ownership by any citizen for their own protection, excepting criminals and the insane. All SCOTUS does now is rule on past laws but that opens up the door for new laws and the cycle begins again. SCOTUS makes their own rules, this would be a piece of cake!

Re #8, that is baked into this ruling. For a time, the idiots who hate guns will continue bash their heads against this brick wall, still imagining that there is "some trick" that will work. The reality is that there will be more and more and MORE rulings of existing gun control laws unconstitutional in lower courts, based on this Bruen ruling. These four cases were sent back to lower courts for just that reason. Basically the SCOTUS said, "You got this wrong, now with our guidance, clean up your mess." And eventually, after some period of "training", law makers will stop teeing up new "innovative" gun control laws to be struck down by the first court that hears them. They'll grasp that "...shall not be infringed." means exactly what it says, and no amount of clever verbiage or innovative legal strategies will get around it. It'll take them a while. The court has rehabilitated the Second Amendment, just like it did the First. At one time, there were laws all over the place that blocked people's rights to say what they wanted in public. They lasted for decades. Finally the court steadily struck them down. Now a mere letter to an authority that they are violating the First Amendment rights is usually enough to get a policy changed, because they have learned that they WILL lose in court, at great expense. We are headed there with the Second Amendment. The NY Sullivan law was the first truly sweeping and fundamentally unconstitutional antigun law that stood for a while. It has now been invalidated. Gun rights are coming back and the antigunners can't see that their day is OVER. Bruen has struck down the 'granddaddy' of all gun control laws.

This week Neil Oliver talks about the new Utopia we are being instructed to accept. A world in which there are no rights, only permissions. Everything including the modification of diets and the eating of bugs and fake meat; to the type of carbon footprint home we are permitted, to the energy we may use or the acceptable car we must drive; permissions, assuming of course, our social media profile and accompanying score is in line with regulatory inspection. Nope. Not happening. There are more of us than them. We will not eat the bugs. WATCH:
