On Friday, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone penned a notice telling Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) that, because of her pro-choice stance, she will not be permitted to take receive Holy Communion. Well, this absolutely triggered the pro-baby killing coven on ABC’s The View. And during their Monday show, they accused the Archbishop of somehow violating the separation of church and state by carrying out punishment against a member of the church for violating their beliefs.

they have no idea what the phrase means, no idea what the constitution actually says. if anything, their complains aims to mix church and state. they are attempting the very thing that must not be done.

I am hearing that the people of the View have taken Theology classes. I am sorry to admit that, even though my Doccorate is in Theology, I am not able to agree with the View people. The Church has close to 2,000 years of experience in defining acts that lead to sin.

Is this the same state that told people that they had to take a vaccine that violated their religious beliefs? Hypocrites all.

Huh??? Did I miss something? Did the Arch Bishop tell Pelosi how to make laws or did Nancy invite the church into the Congress to advise Democrats on the errors or their ways? No. The Arch Bishop followed church teachings and denied Pelosi communion per Catholic Chuch Rules. His ruling had nothing to do with making federal law or influencing laws. He is simply reminding Nancy of her obligations and ethics regarding her membership in the Roman Catholic Church.

The First Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" Nowhere in the Constitution does the phrase "separation of church and state" appear. That phrase is just a construct of the liberal, religious-hating left.

#5 The separation of church and state was mentioned in a SCOTUS ruling - In Everson v. Board of Education, the Supreme Court discussed the "wall of separation" that should be present between the government and religious institutions. This metaphor led to the commonly-used phrase "separation of Church and State."
Of course the left trots it out when needed and ignores it when a black senate candidate speaks at a church pulpit.

These vapid broads sway no one except for the few brainless haus fraus who tune in to this train wreck. Good on the Church for calling out this Pelosi gutter rat for her godless belief in infanticide.

Re #7: A long time ago talk show television host Phil Cockatoo, his blue eyes flashing angrily, forlornly trying to make some constitutional point that was well beyond his education or understanding, hollered, "What about the separation clause?" Idiot. He thinks that's from the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights. Probably still does. It ain't. Leftists love to yell about things they can't understand.

The Everson v. Board of Education ruling came in 1947, while Jefferson declined a request to force Connecticut to stay out of a Baptist community's business in 1802. It was in his response that Jefferson coined the phrase, "wall of separation between church and state".

I’m sure these embarrassingly stupid women aren’t aware of this, but ‘separation of church and state’ appears nowhere in the Constitution. The phrase was used in a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote and he was referring to the Church of England. The Catholic Church not only has every right to deny communion to Pelosi, they have an ecclesiastical responsibility to do so. They do not need permission from the hags from The View.

When she personally advocates for abortion, she is going against her Church’s rules. Period.
These ignorant women are really stupid. Ignorant can be fixed, but they are too old for that. Stupid is forever.

Stupid is a dumb does. No clue as to what the phrase means or where it comes from or why it was said when it was said. It was written in a letter and not in a speech. The View is the Narrow Minded View. A place where reality does not exist.

Separation of Church and State just as flimsy belief as Roe v Wade. Democrats twisting and turning sentences to meet their narratives.

The dispute is between Pelosi and her church. Priests are not supposed to stand idly by when someone claims to be a 'devout Catholic' but celebrates actions that are a direct contradiction to the church's beliefs.

If she had kept her mouth shut about abortion she would probably still receive communion. But no, she HAD to speak out. Well Nance, the leaders of the church in your city have decided otherwise. I’m betting she’ll make a substantial donation to the church and will receive dispensation for her evil views.
