Fox News' former chief political correspondent has joined a chorus of voices calling for serious repercussions against Tucker Carlson - one of the network's most prominent voices. Carl Cameron was asked: 'Do you think the Murdoch family in charge of Fox will ever pull the plug on Tucker?' during an interview with CNN's Jim Acosta on Saturday.Cameron, 60, went on to compare Carlson's broadcasts to falsely shouting fire in a crowded movie theater.
'The fact of the matter is, if you disturb the peace by starting a riot in a movie theater, cops are going to arrest you and you might end up in jail or
Carl Cameron is a liar of the first order. He deceives intentionally. He works for Darkness.

Tucker's opinions are incendiary but they are also true.
Those who would silence him would celebrate the wholesale destruction of what is best in America..

Wasn't Carl fired by FOX because he made something up that was a total lie. I believe this happened when John McCain was running for president.

This theory actually makes sense, but you decide for yourself. Compare this to the Russia, Russia, Russia nonsense . . . well we all know who the media cheerleaders were.

A so-called "journalism professional" advocating for increased government censorship and control of the media; sounds like Carl would be right at home in the land of Xi.
What an idiot.

Replacement theory reported on by Carlson. CRT pushed by Democrats, BLM, and every other liberal group and supported by liberal media. Which is more dangerous?CRT seems to have led to a lot more violence. Should Democrats, CNN, and liberal media be jailed also? Merely reporting on something isn't illegal.

I think this is great! Between this attack on the one conservative voice, and Bruce Jenner prancing around, maybe my parents will wake up and stop watching Fox News.

Cameron, it's one this to shout "FIRE!" in a crowed movie theater, when there is no fire, is irresponsible and punishable.
On the other hand, if you shout, "FIRE!" , when there is one, that is an act of responsibility, and commendable.
Then there is the person who stays silent and saves himself. Reprehensible.
Finally, there is the one who goes around and chains the door shut and sets the fire...
Which are you, Cameron?

Following that logic, virtually ALL of the media would be incarcerated!!
Who watches the watchers?? Who determines what is fact and truth or simply OPINION or world view that disagrees with the narrative?
Point of view and perspective must be driven by getting factual new and analysis, not a propaganda narrative! The "we report, you decide" is faulty when the reporting is slanted one way of the other.

Free Speech, Carl Style. Locked up in jail or worse if what you say isn't TRUE. Who decides what is TRUE? Carl, of course. Learned that one from Kim Jong-un. And, your 15 minutes are up. Moving on.

"In 2004, Cameron posted a news story on the Fox News website that included fabricated quotes from John Kerry, in which the Senator purportedly called himself a 'metrosexual' and Bush a 'cowboy". Fox News spokesman Paul Schur later said it was intended to be an internal joke not for publication, and the network apologized for the piece. Cameron was reprimanded.

His 'less polished' appearance [looks like Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman] was said to contrast with that of other Fox reporters; NBC News' Chuck Todd, an avowed fan of Cameron's, quipped, '[i]t’s nice to see that there are other guys in TV who didn't get there for their looks.'"

Key is in the first line: "Fox News' former ...."
Leaving Fox News is not always a positive for your career. Ask Chris Wallace. And Megyn Kelly (although she walked out with a lot of NBC's cash, which is a testament to her and her team's negotiating power). And others.

Police should enforce "the truth"? No, people are free to say what they want. Free speech.
I haven't seen Carlson in a couple of years, because I have sworn off of Fox News. But, he always used to be a reliable source of facts. I'd trust him before this Cameron guy.
And the First Amerndment still stands, regardless of the myriad loons like this guy who want it reversed.

Poor little Carl Cameron! Fox viewers never viewed him as chief anything. He was a blah, drab little man whose reports were dull and uninteresting.
He is just jealous. A hasbeen, a never-was, sent to the wastebin years ago.

He's the guy that "Broke the Story"(after an oppo research/october surprise headsup slipped to him by Democrats) of 20 years sober Bush having gotten a DWI way back in 1976.
Kind "charming" in a Pot/Kettle sort of way considering he eventually was fired from Fox for being a 'no linger functioning' Drunk.
