Census miscounted populations of 14 states

After the once-a-decade census is complete the Census Bureau conducts a follow-up to gauge the accuracy of the count. The follow-up of the 2020 census was delayed a bit because of the pandemic but the results are now out and they show that in 36 states the tally was pretty accurate. However in 14 other states the numbers were off. Six states had an undercount and eight states had an overcount. That there were a roughly equal number of states with overcounts as undercounts seems reasonable but the geographical and political breakdown of where those happened is interesting: The results showed that six states — Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Illinois and Texas

I am a census resister. Have been since the Klinton years. I understand and will comply with the constitutional requirement for a head count. I can even go along with proving citizenship. All of that is needed to determine representation. But thats where it ends. They dont need my name, race, age, number of bathrooms or any of that other carp thats none of their business. It has absolutely nothing to do with how many representatives a state gets. All the legislative assurances that that the information will not be misused are meaningless, as all it takes is one vote to allow the misuse. The info is already there. They get me every time eventually, but I dont make it easy on them.

For all their vast experience and preparedness, one expects more from a Leftist cheating scheme. Why didn’t they undercount all the red states? Why didn’t they overcount all the blue states enough to add some Congressional representation. The incompetence of communism is truly staggering.

Looks like even the US Census has been turned into a political tool by the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats, the results of which will be used by the Democrats to limit or otherwise to redistrict congressional districts in the current Republican States to the future favor of the Democrats. Another point is that the vastly growing illegal alien population should never be used via the US Census as a basis for redistricting Congressional seats.

What this also means, particularly in those states mailing out ballots to everyone on the voter registration list, is they may be sending out to many who don't live there. #3, that's about 1 additional congressional seat they should have lost too

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that the state will “put our arms around the British people again as we did during Covid” amid the cost of living and inflationary crisis. President Joe Biden recently signed a law mandating (persondating?) that all new vehicles sold after 2026 must be equipped with electronic “kill switches.” These switches could conceivably be used by government officials—or hackers—to seize control of one’s car without permission or oversight. Oddly enough, the law was essentially hidden inside of the administration’s LGBTQ-friendly $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that was passed late last year. The “kill switch law” would potentially allow law enforcement to shut one’s car off remotely, and also to track the car’s metrics

Dark on TV. Trailing badly in polls. Written off by Republican political insiders nationally and in Georgia. Former Sen. David Perdue’s once-spirited primary challenge to Georgia Gov. Even the man who recruited Perdue to run against Kemp — former President Donald Trump — seems to have given his campaign up for dead, said three Republicans who have spoken to Trump. They say Trump has groused about what he believes is a lackluster campaign effort from Perdue. Trump isn’t planning to make any more personal appearances

Is this an admission that Karine Jean-Pierre has not exactly risen to her new position as White House press secretary? Yes, if you ask me. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby is a consummate professional, regardless of your political party of choice. The fact that he is being moved into the White House now that Jen Psaki (Psaki bombs) is gone is pretty much an admission that the wrong choice was made for her replacement. Kirby’s current official title is Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. He’s clearly comfortable working in Democrat administrations and on lefty cable news networks, as he did at CNN from 2017 to 2021

Democrats claim to be advocates of women’s rights and gender equality, so why wouldn’t they support a “Women’s Bill of Rights”? As a pro-life atheist, I’ve never been more confused. That starts with the fact that Ocasio-Cortez is herself Catholic. Does she consider her own faith “fundamentalist”? I presume she’d say the Church requires its members to be pro-life in their private conduct (isn’t she pro-choice?) but doesn’t require them to enshrine their beliefs in public policy. If that’s the case, I’d politely refer her to today’s news. Beyond that, she seems to be arguing that abortion is some sort of religious right. Conservatives have accused the left for years of treating abortion as a sort of sacrament but it turns out we didn’t know the half of it.
