'I am sick of being bullied into silence':
Furious female skateboarder Taylor Silverman

A furious female skateboarder has slammed Red Bull for sponsoring a contest where she placed second to her trans rival. Taylor Silverman claims she and other female competitors were disadvantaged by officials at the Red Bull Cornerstone Contest, where she placed second and received a $2,750 award. Trans skateboarder Lillian Gallagher was awarded $5,000 for placing first and winning two separate divisions—money that Silverman says should have been given to her. Silverman, who has been skateboarding for 11 years, said when she tried to reach out to officials to 'do the right thing even if it's not the popular thing,' she was ignored.

Comments:

Imagine, if you will, a society so warped by Marxism that large corporations scramble to place real women at a disadvantage to men who pretend to be women, and we embrace this as tolerance, and the real women are told to lay back and enjoy it.

Notice she doesn’t claim to have outperformed this competitor. She just wants money “reserved” for “women”. Is that fair, if you’re male and better? Why can’t you compete break a glass ceiling or two, in this age where women demand “equality”. Just do the tricks better, young lady. It’s the dawn of a new, equal world that rewards skill, not gender, race or anything but performance. Anything else is “affirmative action” handicapping.

If there is ANY sport where male/female segregation should make no difference, but simply compete head to head it is skateboarding...BUT...If they are going to have separate prize money and competitions based upon Male/female classes, certainly it should go to actual females.

#9 - Who "cheated"? Without evidence to the contrary, it is fair to assume all competitors were participating within existing rules. Red Bull just got more publicity than a whole year of women's skateboarding could otherwise generate. Secondly, let the women boycott...who's the loser? The number of fans is so paltry they'd fade further into obscurity. There are alternatives for broadcasters. They could fill in with donkey softball games and garner few complaints...mainly from PETA.

A Harlem councilwoman is pushing legislation that would require city leaders overseeing museums and nightlife to appoint a laureate of the Big Apple’s growing drag performance scene. Democratic socialist Councilwoman Kristin Richardson Jordan introduced a bill Thursday that would require a “drag laureate” to be picked annually by the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs in consultation with the head of the Mayor’s Office of Nightlife. Climate change and rising costs are causing supermarkets in France to run out of dijon mustard, raising questions over whether the shortage could spread to other countries. French mustard producers said seed production in 2021 was down 50% after poor harvests, which they said had been brought on by the changing climate in France’s Burgundy region and Canada, the second largest mustard seed producer in the world. It has caused French supermarket shelves to run empty of the condiment, including in several stores visited by the Guardian. One of France’s largest mustard producers, Reine de Dijon, said the shortages were being driven by climate breakdown.
