Asian-American groups are getting $20 million in the new New York State budget to fight an alarming tide of hate crimes that has shaken local communities. The money in the $220 billion annual budget deal falls short of the amount Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations had sought, but it doubles last year’s funding. “The Asian American community has never been properly accounted for in the state budget,” state Sen. John Liu told the Daily News Sunday. “The need is unprecedented because everybody is painfully aware of the anti-Asian hate that has accompanied COVID,” the Queens Democrat said. Complaints of anti-Asian hate crimes more than tripled

Only $20 million, and not $30 million or even $50 million? For shame. Meanwhile, they blame the 'Rona and the word "black" appears nowhere in this article, and there's no thought given to demanding that bLACK Lives Matter pay the hush money. And of course there's no funding earmarked for White people, even though they've been targeted for years by bLACK hate criminals, ramping up very sharply during the reign of Queen Barry.

When is Donald Trump going to be held personally responsible for this wave of anti-Asian hatred? According to the leftist narrative, he started it all by blaming the Chinese for COVID.

Appropriate use of these funds would be....hire private investigators to track down EVERY perp, using hefty rewards/Bounties/Wanted Posters where needed, followed by 100%prosecution both criminal and civil, and a hit squad of Kung Fu/Ninja leg breakers to follow up with those the "Law" does not sufficiently punish. (In between "Justice Calls" they can teach hard core defense classes to any/all that want them) As well as a media campaign to let would be "Haters" know that this is the "New Way, New Day". If the police were allowed to do their job and crime was punished, there would be no need for millions to fund hate crimes for certain groups paid for by taxpayers. A "hate crime" is not more serious for one group than another. Crime is crime and criminals should receive real punishment for every crime. No excuses.

And how exactly will this $20 million help stop Asian hate crimes? You want to stop Asian hate crimes, stop letting the criminals out of jail. Stop acting like nobody knows that almost all Asian hate crimes are committed by Black people. Prosecute them, put them in jail. That would be a better use of $20 million dollars.
