An uninteresting First Lady makes for

Jill Biden is not an inherently interesting person. She’s been a teacher for some decades now, wrote an undistinguished thesis to get a meaningless Ed.D., and now functions as her husband’s nursemaid. She also lacks charm. And, of course, she’s White. Why someone thought a biography of her would be interesting is impossible to understand although a biography that took two people to write hit the market this past week—and completely bombed. (snip) Julie Page and Darlene Superville, both of whom are AP reporters, thought there was something there, something people would pay $26 for a hardback to learn about.

The authors apparently tried to clean up Jill’s history if Andrea’s summary is correct. My understanding is that Jill and Joe were doing it before she was divorced and before Joe’s wife killed herself and their daughter in a completely avoidable car accident. Which Joe then lied about. Isn’t it amazing that a book about Jill completely flops and Joe can barely get a dozen people to show up at any of his appearances but he got more votes than any president in American history? I’m a retired professional hand embroidery designer who has had two books of my designs published. The hand embroidery community is rather small but my books sold thousands of copies. So I’m enjoying a bit of schadenfreude over this news.

If I remember correctly, Jill's doctoral thesis was a long list of quotes with very little original content. The subject: how to make community college interesting so students won't drop out. Quid pro quo: jill became a 'dr' and the issuing school got mega-bucks from the federal gov't. (Joey was the senator at the time.)

Her thesis reads like a slapdash report by an unimaginative consultant to Delaware Technical and Community College. It reflects the degradation of collegiate post-secondary education from its original purpose of educating promising young leaders of high morals and intelligence to provide communities with professional talent for the spiritual, physical, economic and scientific benefit of citizens. Now, aside from the schools of hard science and engineering the majority of colleges and universities are nothing but pay-to-play diploma mills for the lost, unimaginative, bored, stupid and, very often, self-centered who often become angry, vicious but often laughable pseudo-intellectuals who turn on the very communities they are meant to serve. When a Jill Biden statue appears on campus, which it inevitably will, it should feature her clad only in fishnet stockings holding a bag of cash and wearing a conical paper hat and a mattress tied to her back.

#4, there are several different versions offered by Dementia Jo as to how he and Jill met, none of them true, according to Jill's first husband. The ex husband said he and Jill met Jo, volunteered on Jo's first senate campaign, and Jill did baby sitting for Nellie and Jo Biden. Then Nellie died, along with their baby daughter, in a car crash. The ex husband (who wrote a book about this stuff, but it oddly was not published, but he says Jill continued to 'baby sit' for Jo, and that Jo, with Jill as passenger, wrecked the ex husband's corvette. And when the owner of the other car that Jo hit showed up at the ex husband's house, and complained that Senator Biden hit his car, driving a brown corvette, and promised to pay but didn't, the ex husband threw Jill out. If we had a press corps that gave a damn about the truth, all of this would have come out in 1988, or 2008, and our country would not be burdened with a demented old man in the White House. Not long after, Dementia Jo put Adulterous Jill on his senate office payroll.

2nd post apologies, but the final line in my post belonged above of the conclusion. Jill's husband said he threw her out after Biden wrecked the husband's Corvette. Biden, at some point thereafter, hired Jill to work on his Senate staff, and that allowed Jill to go back to school to finish her bachelor's degree. Was it a no-show job? Perhaps, but no reporter has pursued the subject. If I am correct, imagine how demoralizing it must have been for the other Senate staff members in his office. Congressional staffers work really hard. I have had friends who were staffers, and they are always busy. Jill, who was a special education major, would have had no applicable skills, even if she showed up for work. Dementia Jo sent all of his senate papers to the University of Delaware, and Delaware has locked them up. It would take a lawsuit to get at those papers, including Jill's payroll records., if any exist.

According to this article the book says that she and Biden got together when she was “separated” from her husband. Her ex begged to differ when he wrote of hearing from a friend that they’d seen her in ex’s car and Joe Biden was driiving. A high school cheerleader who married a football hero, she was a striver from teen years. Has never gotten over it. Her sidekick 8 years with Mooch had to nearly kill her and definitely set her up for her own run at the WH. Joe was just a device. The only way she could ge there.

Her ex-husband Bill Stephenson’s version of their story: Jill Biden had an affair with Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, in the 1970s that broke up her previous marriage, according to her ex-husband. In a Monday interview with the Daily Mail, Bill Stevenson, Jill Biden's previous husband, asserted that she and the former vice president's story about how their relationship came to be is not accurate. The Bidens claimed that they became a couple in 1975 after a blind date, but Stevenson said the two met in 1972 and that he suspected the affair in 1974.(snip) Stevenson said he believed the two were having an affair in August 1974 and claims he later confirmed his suspicions in October that year after a customer walked into his workplace to inform him that the senator was in his wife's brown Corvette with her. "I was at work, and a guy came in and asked: 'Do you own a brown Corvette?' I said, 'Yes, it's my wife's car.' He said back in May it had crunched his bumper and they told him to get an estimate, and he never heard back from them. I said: 'Wait a minute. Who is they?' And he said: 'Funnily enough, Sen. Biden was driving," Stevenson said. The report comes days before Joe Biden is set to accept the Democratic nomination for president. The Washington Examiner reached out to the Biden campaign for comment. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/jill-bidens-ex-husband-accuses-her-and-joe-biden-of-affair-that-broke-up-marriage In this artidle he said both he and Jill campaigned for Joe and he (Stephenson) contributed $11,000 to it.

The Utah conservative has been wearing hats while dining out in the wealthy oceanside enclave, where he has a vacation home, in an effort to disguise himself, a family friend told the authors of the new book "This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America's Future." "If he were recognized by Trump supporters there, there was a good chance he would be harassed," New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns wrote. Former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort is also in Palm Beach.
