An innovative face mask for cows, designed to reduce methane emissions and slow down climate change, has won a prestigious design award. The wearable device for cattle, created by UK-based design group Zelp, was one of the four winners of the inaugural Terra Cart Design Lab competition. Insane idiots. On one hand they tell us that any sort of animal husbandry is cruel, then the same idiots hail the idea of strapping an uncomfortable and unnatural harness on a cow just to combat greenhouse gas. It’s a wonder the world doesn’t just explode from sheer lunacy.

Evidently, they don't even understand their own pet theories. ''Man-made climate change'' is supposed to be happening, because carbon that was trapped far below the earth's surface is being released by the burning of fossil fuels. Methane released when animals digest plant matter is not a net increase of carbon into earth's atmosphere. Whether that grass or hay is digested in the stomachs of cattle or if it decays in the ground the same chemical reaction and same elements will eventually be released. That is carbon that is already in the earth's cycle on the surface. Animals and plants release and consume carbon.

Read what #3 said. It's a point of basic science. Certainly it slips right over the heads of most climate fanatics and their sheep-like followers. The only way their stupid hypothesis of imminent disaster works is if the net carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere is increasing (actually that would just make plants grow better and turn the Earth into a garden planet). Every atom of carbon in a cow and every atom of carbon it breaths/farts out has recently already been in the atmosphere. If anything a cow's existence may actually remove a tiny amount of carbon in the parts of its body that don't decay (or get eaten, yum) when it dies. The only new carbon is in the atmosphere comes when so-called fossil fuel are burned and release carbon that got trapped in things that died millions of years ago. Even that theory on the origin of oil has question marks around it.

Cows have four stomachs. They have to "burp" up their food at least 3 times to get it digested. But if anything, they need to strap the "masks" on the cow's backside. That's where the methane is emitting. By the way we feed ours turnips. You do the math.

Internal poll: GOP candidate ahead in

House Republicans might not have to wait until November to chip away at Democrats’ majority. Internal party polling conducted this month shows the GOP has a real shot at flipping former Democratic Rep. Filemon Vela’s South Texas seat in the upcoming June special election. Republican Mayra Flores led Democrat Dan Sanchez by 5 points in a late April survey — and President Joe Biden’s job approval was underwater by 14 points in a district he carried by 4 points in 2020. A win in this once-deep blue seat would offer a big morale boost to Republicans, who have been making

He later topped Donald Trump by 33 ½ percentage points here, his second-largest margin of victory in November. Few places lean more Democratic than Massachusetts, according to political forecasters. But even in this deep blue stronghold, Biden has fallen hard. Just 46 percent of registered Massachusetts voters say they approve of the job Biden is doing as president, with about the same proportion giving him a thumbs down, according to a new Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll. WASHINGTON — Citing growing worries about high gasoline prices, Democratic leaders announced an effort Thursday to give the Federal Trade Commission increased authority to crack down on companies that engage in price gouging. In doing so, they downplayed the possibility of other options such as a federal gas tax holiday or offering oil companies more government incentives to increase production. Instead, they said the FTC needs more tools, including stiffer fines and penalties and a team of dedicated experts to monitor markets and go after price gouging.
