Knucklehead Of The Week: Mayor Pete’s

When evaluating candidates for the week’s top knucklehead, or in assessing any political issues, we generally try to avoid focusing on family members of a public figure. Consider that despite her best efforts, First Lady Jill Biden has never made it to the top spot. It’s also worth noting that most spouses of elected officials tend to keep a low profile. Can you remember the last time you had an opinion on Nancy Pelosi’s husband or Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s wife? But with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s husband Chasten, his actions this week were too much to ignore.

Comments:

If Mayor Pete was a straight guy, he'd be the assistant manager at the local Wal-Mart, and Chasten would be one of his supervisors.

The author's criticism/mockery of the 'pledge' is spot on. However, he does not seem to understand that he destroyed his moral consistency by referring to the pledge of allegiance as sacrosanct, while using the word 'husband' to refer to Pete's object of affection. 'Husband' is a sacrosanct term with a rigid moral context. Using it, or the term 'marriage' to refer to homosexual relationships is a clear indicator of surrender of the moral high ground. It's similar to accepting the imposition of pronouncements of 'use these pronouns'. Orwell tried to warn us that the agents of authoritarian oppression would change society by changing the meaning of words and phrases, but we continuously ignore his prophetic warnings.

Buttegieg was dubiously hired to be Transportation Secretary - not as a cheerleader for the gay lifestyle. He has been an abject laughable failure at his job, mainly because he was never qualified for it to begin with. That’s the problem in a nutshell for ‘woke’ appointments in the government.

If BootyBoy and his buttbuddy were normal heterosexual males, you would never have heard of them. Their entire lives consist of being homosexuals, and flaunting their perversions, and talking about their perversions, and throwing a hissy fit when anyone calls them on it. They’re not qualified to do anything else. They are poster children for the Democrap party.

A Russian man was not lovin’ it that McDonald’s was about to shutter it stores in the country amid the invasion of Ukraine – so he chained himself to one of its eateries in Moscow in a last-ditch attempt to keep it open. The Golden Arches fan, identified as Luka Safronov, was filmed staging his protest hours before the burger giant was set to temporarily close its 850 restaurants in Russia, the Mirror reported. “Closing down is an act of hostility against me and my fellow citizens!” Safronov reportedly yelled as customers flocked inside to grab their last Big Macs and other staples before the chain closed down its operations.

President Joe Biden announced on Friday he will revoke Russia's 'most favored nation' trade status over its invasion of Ukraine, another step in the series of harsh economic sanctions he and U.S. allies have imposed on Moscow. And he vowed Russian President Vladimir Putin would pay a 'severe price' if he uses chemical weapons in the Ukraine and said U.S. troops would not join the fight as not to provoke World War III. Biden announced Russia's change in status of a trade partner in lockstep with the fellow G7 nations to make it an even heavier burden on Moscow to carry. The move will also deny Russia the ability to borrow money

PF: The most intense of the culture war battles tend to be centered around schools, and for good reason. We, as parents, have sharp protective instincts, and nothing triggers them quite like schools trying to indoctrinate our kids. Many parents have only recently become concerned. When kids were kept out of school and forced to learn remotely, moms and dads were enlightened.
