Former President Barack Obama announced Sunday afternoon: 'I just tested positive for COVID', but said Michelle is still clear of coronavirus. 'I've had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise,' the former president tweeted in describing his symptoms. 'Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative. It's a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven't already, even as cases go down,' Obama tweeted. He did not mention whether either of his daughters Malia, 23, and Sasha, 20 were tested for the virus, but both are currently in college and likely away at school.

Comments:

The world is collapsing thanks to his ongoing leadership, but stop the presses, he has a sniffle.

What an endorsement! Get vaccinated like me, even though it didn't keep me from getting omicron. In fact it has a negative result with omicron, which is 99% of the corona that is out and about right now. So if you want to get omicron and help with herd immunity, get that booster folks.

Notice how about every week a self important person tests positive for covid. It's a mild cold. Get over it and get over yourselves. This shot has killed and maimed people. In normal times, it would be pulled. All those people would be alive today if it wasn't for the shot. All those people would have their livelihoods if it wasn't for the farce covid. No more!!!!!!! Also, all those people would be alive today if those governors hadn't put infected people back in the senior homes. A recent meeting at Minneapolis' Karmel Mall was urgent for the Somali American leaders who convened it: FBI agents had been peppering business owners and shoppers with questions surrounding a fraud investigation involving government-funded child nutrition programs, and the leaders felt the whole community was once again under siege. Anxiety filled the meeting.(Snip)"This is hitting the community really hard," said Bashir Garad Dahir, who later described the meeting. "We need crystal clear answers from the government. Mr. Biden’s 2,741-page budget bill, which passed with bipartisan support last week, was the first in more than a decade to include earmarks. The discretionary spending measures were long banned under Republican control of Congress but returned last year under Democrats’ unified control of the House and the Senate. Although Republicans also benefit from the budget’s allotments, some of the biggest winners from the inclusion of $8 billion in earmarks are Democrats facing tough reelection challenges. Sen.
