With President Biden’s disastrous State of the Union speech on Tuesday night, a very strong argument could be made to declare our esteemed Commander-in-Chief as the week’s top knucklehead – again. But that would be akin to beating a dead horse… with our apologies to dead horses. So, we’re going to cut Sleepy Joe a break this week and opt instead for that stellar sidekick of his: the one and only, Vice-President Kamala Harris. n his State of the Union speech, Joe Biden made the jaw-dropping statement that he supported funding the police. He told a lot of big lies – his concern for national unity chief among them – but this police flip-flop represents the second-deadliest nonchalant course reversal (after Covid policies) and it simply can’t be ignored.
Just for context, take a listen to this montage of various Democrats saying the exact opposite not that long ago:Put pithily, Democrats have enabled selfish, amoral, violent individuals who are unfit to participate in society to repeatedly return to the streets.

We shouldn’t be surprised that Hillary Clinton would continue to double down in the face of a mushrooming scandal. This has always been her strategy in handling such situations, and heaven knows she’s had plenty of experience. Whitewater? Pfft! Nothing to see here. Travelgate? Just a vast right-wing conspiracy. Benghazi? What difference could it possibly make? Hillary has survived more scandals than perhaps any politician in history, so her current hubris might be somewhat expected. But the goings-on with the Durham Probe is different. Hillary’s current hot water isn’t like the other cauldrons she’s been in.

There’s so much buffoonery that takes place here, there’s seldom a need to look outside of our own borders. But this week was the exception, with Canada’s Prime Minister – that prettiest of all political pretty boys – Justin Trudeau outdoing all his American knucklehead competition. The way in which Trudeau has thoroughly mishandled the Freedom Convoy protests has been remarkable to watch.

Two journalists working for the United Nations have been detained in Kabul, the global agency said in a tweet Friday — with reports of at least eight other Westerners also detained in the war-torn nation.
“Two journalists with UNHCR and Afghan nationals working with them have been detained in Kabul. We are doing our utmost to resolve the situation, in coordination with others,” the UNHCR said in a tweet.
