Russia's invasion of Ukraine appears to have ground to a halt with no significant territory captured despite a weekend of heavy fighting, with Kyiv's men claiming to have taken out dozens of helicopters and recaptured a city this morning - sparking hopes that the unlikeliest of victories may be on the cards.Putin's men renewed their bombardments on Mariupol, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv this morning as hundreds of civilians tried to evacuate Irpin - on the outskirts of Kyiv - across a destroyed bridge after days of heavy attacks in an attempt to encircle the capital. But Russian commanders have not significantly advanced their frontline since the city of Kherson

Of course Ukraine could "win" the war. It's possible that Woody Allen could knock Tyson Fury out in the first round of a boxing match. Possible, yes. Probable, no. Russia still has complete air superiority. Please do not send more weapons to the Ukraine to be seized like Afghanistan. I have sympathy for the Ukrainian people. The Ukrainian government, no. This is the government that fired an investigator probing why Hunter got a job with an energy company making $90k per month to do nothing. Quid Pro Joe told them if they didn't fire him they wouldn't get foreign aid. What kind of a country stands up to Putin and throws in the towel for Bidet?

I'm calling Barbara Streisand on that.
Let's see the helicopters and the bodies....alongside a newspaper with today's date.

At the start of this war, I was hoping Ukraine would make Russia howl. And if this story is accurate that's exactly what they are doing.

It's hard to see how Ukraine can hold out, but we can hope this will be enough to bring a timely demise to Vlad the Imposer Putin who has murdered his way to the top. He has no place to go but 6 feet under.

Hysterically funny. The blatant lying, the ridiculous numbers, nope, I'm not buying . I have no idea when the pictures were taken or where they were taken.

Time will tell. Wait and see how things look in Ukraine around the end of March after fighting has raged for a month. Have to imagine Putin will send in more troops. He is desperate for victory. What happens to Putin at home if he loses? Bye Bye Putin?

The truth, of course, lies somewhere between what the two sides are stating. Only one thing is certain from this article - the tank with its turret on the ground, 10 feet away, is the classic result of a Javelin strike. You can even see the hole where the missile penetrated the armor before detonating inside.
And good on those folks evacuating with their pets.

it is getting kind of apparent that the Soviet Russian soldiers are not functioning at their greatest capacity and that Ukraine is winning the psychological war so, now Ukraine would be the time to begin the psy ops game and try to get as many Soviet Russian soldiers to defect as possible, that in itself would be the demoralizer for the Soviets

If the number of russkie troups killed is half of that, that is still a very big number for a military that was supposed to take Ukraine in a cake walk. Putie, what gives, bro? Your military just doesn't care.

I do not want any Ukrainians dead. I do not want any Russians dead. I want the Russians to go home. I want the Ukrainians to return home -- if it exists, that is.
Perhaps it sounds silly, but I am hoping for an angel -- like the one at the Battle of Marne in the Great War -- to intercede for Ukraine (https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Angel_of_the_Marne).
If there is corruption in Ukraine, then there are civilized means of sorting it out. War is not the answer. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Putin never did want to take the country. He only wanted to destroy the Bio Labs and to destroy the money making machine for the Deep State, (Soros, Clinton, Biden, Obama, Kerry). Putin didn't use the full force of his Air Force, He didn't want the land. The UN reported a week ago that total Ukrainian deaths were at 350 people. That's not very many for someone who people thought wanted to take over the country.

The only way the local little league sluggers beat the Yankees is if the Yankees throw the game. I don't think that's likely. Or, the Sluggers could pull in an all-star bunch of ringers. But all the heavy hitters are sitting back in the cheap eats drinking that imported stuff from Russia.

As much as I want this to be true have to take it with a shaker of salt based on the source. Afraid Russia's in this to win and will just keep upping the troops and destruction until they've won. Too much ego and prestige at risk to quit.

"The Daily Mail" is a British rag sheet that has historically been 50 steps below "The National Enquirer" for journalistic integrity.
But now that they have become a full-time propaganda outlet for Ukraine, they are officially 100 steps below "The National Enquirer" for journalistic integrity.
While I would love to see Ukraine whip Putin and Russia -- because I just don't like them very much. But all the ridiculous propaganda coming out of this war is just getting extremely ridiculous!!!!
