A comprehensive new United Nations-sponsored assessment of climate change finds that global warming is reshaping the world more rapidly and severely than was known several years ago. Why it matters: The report finds that climate change is affecting every person's physical and mental health, and classifies nearly half of the global population as being "highly vulnerable" to climate impacts. Stay on top of the latest market trends and economic insights with Axios Markets. Subscribe for free Importantly, the report — part of the biggest update to climate science findings since 2014 — concludes it is no longer possible to fully adapt to some global warming impacts. OP: agree 100%. UN & dumbocrats desperately need the same.
Where I came from back in the day, a yahoo was a very unsavory, maybe even crazy dimocrat type person.
Fits this so-called news organization to a tee, doncha think?

The only thing affecting our physical and mental health are the policies from the communist democratic party and their sick agenda. Funny how these problems were only an issue under Obama and Biden. The whole climate issue is just another hoax like the Russian collusion hoax. You see, democrats depend on their brain dead illiterate voters to fill their pockets with everybody else's money. And they hate Trump because he exposed them for what they are, American hating commies owned by the Chinese govt....Get it yet. Wake up dummies.....

And now they're back to crowing about 'climate change' now that the Covid scamdemic is fading. Gotta have a crisis to keep the rubes in line!
Don't believe it.

The imaginary climate crisis is a major item in the UN Agenda 2030. They are just pushing their program by lying to the world to create fear panic and submission to obedience to their mandates and orders. The next great issue will be a Climate Crisis similar in severity to the Great Wuhan Corona Virus Flu Pandemic for which mandates will be issued severely restricting you from driving your car or truck and, of course, electric vehicles will be exempt as long as you have a vax card with your valid driver's license. Hold the line, stop the insanity now.

Total nonsense.
Iowa may be slightly hotter than it was 100 years ago (although there is no empiric evidence that this is true), but the claimed amount of warming is the equivalent of migrating south abut 50 miles. So if descendants want to compensate, all they have to do is to move north about 20 miles per generation.
'Course, they might prefer to migrate to Texas, Florida or Arizona where it is much hotter.

Capitalized or not, the headline works... a U.N. report on climate is effectively an unreport. The IPCC has spewed excremental hysteria so heavily and for so long that their B.S. has effectively blinded themselves. Their gaslighting over the topic is what has negatively impacted people's mental health and caused physical health issues by continually cultivating anxiety and fear with their doom and gloom.

I have made NO changes to adapt to anything climate related. I am experiencing no anxiety. Nor am I aware of any critical changes happening or people stressed over future changes. Young people are being educated in the fear of climate boogeymen. The result is those like Thunberg who are angry and fearful of an unseen and unproven apocalypse.
The first thing to note: There is no perfect climate.
The second thing to note: Our current climate has plusses and minuses and on a global scale there is a wide varieties of climate existent today.
The third thing: Climate is NOT static. It was changing before man existed and will continue to change. Man's actions are only one influence on climate and the scope of our impact on the complex climate systems is unknown.
Wouldn't it be neat if penguins could live at the equator? The planet needs to be seriously cooled to allow that to happen.
It would be great if we could have a longer growing season in Northern climates. We need things to warm up.
For either one of great ideas, there would be many changes, some positive, some negative. Some species would die out, others would blossom.
What really affects people's physical and mental health is Leftist hysteria and claims that we are all doomed. The truth is, all things change and if you want to feel comforted, learn what is happening and learn how to live with it. It may not be the same as 50 years ago. Expecting it to be is unrealistic and stressful.

Homo sapiens are naturally a tropical animal and cannot survive outside of the tropics without creating artificially micro environments (clothing and housing). So if the tropics expand from 36% to 37.6% of the planet, we will all die? That seems a little backwards. And that's before you consider the opportunities for farming in Canada and Siberia.

It is not "climate change" that reshaping the world and affecting people's physical and mental health. Like COVID, it is the response of government that is so detrimental. Once governments get so out off control that they inevitably resort to totalitarian methods, then people have a duty to abolish the offending government and put the offenders within such a government to the sword. All else is folly.

"Climate Change",...It's called Weather.
Happens everyday, everywhere. Been happening ever since the Earth was formed and we discovered/invented fire, houses, cars, planes, indoor heating, air conditioning and flying, etc.
So what?
It's OK,.......we're not going to die. Take a deep breath, Have a soothing drink, relax in a comfy chair. The weather is not going to kill us,..Other so called humans might do that, but most likely,...not Mother Nature. Cheers,....

When your job is related to "climate change" and you are charged with studying the ill effects of the alleged climate change, you will surely only find the negative implications and give dire warnings about the alleged "climate change". You will do so in order to preserve your job. It is your job to find and promote climate change and the disaster it will cause to propagate further climate change fear and spending to further enrich yourself and assure yourself job security. The UN climate change gang will surely be requesting increased funding to further asses climate change and how to address it and spend even more money on it. Climate change is a cash cow to those who believe in it and support the continued fallacy of it.

Did the report say when the climate wasn’t changing?
Did it say what the perfect temperature of the earth is?
Did they report on how many of the writers of this report think that the earth was finished when they got here?

Brings to mind a Nat Geo "panic over warming" story...receding glacier exposed an entire Village no one knew existed, houses, streets, objects, clothing, bows/weapons, pots, cooking utensils, some with food still in them. Meaning...People LIVED there for generations before climate change "Suddenly" made it tooooo cold.
The basis of the story was "Warming trend will make it hard to preserve these new found artifacts" uncovered/discovered ONLY due to warming.
Also other glaciers retreat uncovered entire climax forests, some still green, leaves and brush, grasses, trees hundreds of years old, successional growth trees, not from "Dinosaur days" but from periods after even the pyramids were being built. Uncovered Beaches, with Driftwood...in areas they had assumed had ALWAYS been ice covered/icebound a hundred miles or more from any "Open Water"

We had better hope the climate is warming slightly instead of cooling as a lot of legitimate scientists who aren’t getting government grants say. Some genuine non-bribed climatologists say we are in for global cooling because of low sunspot activity. That would be catastrophic in a dozen ways and would cause planet-wide starvation and global war. A little warming would open up northern areas to longer growing seasons and lower fuel bills. We can survive hotter summers. They might be uncomfortable but average temps at minus zero will kill millions.
