Vice President Kamala Harris criticized the levels of pollution caused by heavy trucks on the same day a group of patriotic truckers circled Washington, DC. “Pollution from heavy-duty trucks and buses has made the air poisonous to breathe and this pollution is also, of course, accelerating the climate crises,” Harris said during a speech near the White House on Monday. “Threatening the future not just of our communities, but of the entire world.” Harris did not mention the arrival of the “People’s Convoy” protest of American truckers over the weekend. The group of truckers planned to circle Washington, DC on the Capitol beltway on Monday to protest coronavirus restrictions. During her speech,

After her "imagine" speech all she has to also imagine is a new law of physics that allows wind/solar powered semi trucks to pull tracter trailers over the Rockies. She ought to ask Philidelphia why their all-electric bus fleet had to be scrapped because simple hills and long days were too much for them.

She is so pathetically ignorant, incompetent and basically and embarrassingly stupid . There are way too many idiots out there who think that they are qualified to run for public office, and run because they think it will be a cakewalk. Once they somehow get into office because of the people who shouldn't be voting because they are uninformed and ignorant of the issues, reality strikes. For example, every new president gets tested in foreign affairs. Trump passed the test. Obama and Biden failed. It also happens in state politics. We get a Cuomo, Newsom, Inslee, Lightfoot, et al. People shouldn't be allowed to vote unless they pass a current events test! O.K, that will never happen, but it's a good thought.

I believe the truckers and their supporters made a huge mistake in driving and around DC. Instead, truckers should have united to avoid DC and in particular the DC stores and markets. Let those who reside in the belly of the beast do without fresh food and Chinese products for a few months and "climate change" will mysteriously disappear. That type of trucker protest would get more mileage than what is going on now.

“All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others,” George Orwell wrote in “Animal Farm”. That quote comes to mind often when we talk about COVID-19 mandates and enforcement by various authorities. In a liberal haven like Hollywood, you’d think that a blatant show of COVID-19 mandate hypocrisy would be avoided in order to avoid the publicity yet you would be mistaken. There is a distinction made between performers and presenters at this year’s Oscars ceremony versus award nominees and guests attending the ceremony. The logic escapes me here. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided that the coronavirus safety
