The Pentagon has poured cold water on Poland's offer to hand all its MiG-29 fighter jets to the US, apparently as part of an arrangement to deliver the warplanes to Ukraine's armed forces where they are desperately needed to fight off invading Russian forces. The idea has been floating around for more than a week after Ukraine pleaded for more aircraft but the plan has been dogged by questions about how to deliver the planes to Ukrainian territory without dragging NATO into the conflict. But Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby said on Tuesday night the deal was unworkable and would cause serious concerns for the 'entire NATO alliance'.

Sorry Ukraine. You are on your own. Nobody is coming to your rescue. US doesn't do anything that's good for itself or its allies. Russia wins this round.
Any country on Russia's borders might want to beef up their military as a deterrent. If you are too small to stand up to Russia, you might want to make peace with them.

If anyone had any brains, they'd have slipped in a few Polish MiGs without any one knowing about it. Do a surreptitious repaint and fly them in at night, under the radars, radio silence.
Dimwits, lame brains, losers, incompetents, fools and woke morons, as far as the eye can see.

So Putin starts a war against NATO by raping a prospective member for wanting to be a NATO member.
So now the NATO nations, who could snuff out Russia forever in three days, cower and shake behind the skirts of Ukrainian grandmothers, who have fought the mighty Russian army to a halt.
I guess it is a good thing she is standing up for you. Since you are too timid to stand up for yourselves.
Teenagers and grandmas are more powerful and honorable than NATO. Who would have thought?

When you can trust no one, who do you believe? Unfortunately, my criteria for truth has now evolved to the point where I believe nothing that comes out of my own government. Whatever they say is immediately suspect and upon further reflection, it’s apparent they are lying. It usually doesn’t take too long to get to the truth. How can we survive as a nation when we can’t believe a word that our government says? Illegitimate Joe Biden has destroyed our sovereignty, our reputation as the leader of the free world, our word, our economy, our health care, and our ability to forge alliances around the world. He has enabled the bad guys and abandoned the good guys. He is and will remain the worst leader in this country’s history bar none. It appears he and his team are bumbling into a war with Russia. If that, God forbid, should happen, who’s to say our allies would remain faithful to us? His dishonesty and incompetence would give many pause and rightly so.
I don’t believe we can wait this out until we the people have an opportunity to vote this cabal out of office. Biden has well and truly set us on a path to war and the majority of Americans who did not vote for this incompetent fraud will be forced to live with the actions of this lawless, illegitimate, corrupt political party whether we like it or not. Elections have consequences, especially stolen ones. Just sayin’.

Smart move by Poland, a NATO country. So we have a new look to how the world despises Xiden. First we need to look at Putin's coalition of the willing, the willing can join in the action like Chechen, and Byelorussians or they can form s silent majority by strategic inaction, implying permission, like virtue signalling Poland, Germany, England, OPEC (members won't speak to Xiden), N Korea, Iran, Syria, and the entire mideast. Heck even Xiden was cool with a "minor incursion" Sunday drive in the old Lada and if that ain't permission then you ain't a dictator!

Seems Poland is smarter than Washington....they called DC's bluff...in the meantime Ukraine suffers from the Putin push for the title... tyrant....I don't blame Poland...they have to think...Poland first...the world is watching....and I'm thinking china is changing it's plans to invade Taiwan after watching Putin mess with his status on the world stage....the last thing china wants is to turn the world against their economic drive for top gun in delivery of goods...

The end of NATO comes not with a bang, but a whimper. Will the US accept it? Or will it stand around like yesterday's football hero wondering where all the cheering went?

This exceeds Biteme's "minor incursion" red line. Can't have that. If the US gets dragged into this war then Biteme wants to get all the credit. Whoever made up that "All for one, one for all" rule within NATO must be the smallest, weakest country in the group. Any one of them shooting one Russian soldier could trigger a major disaster.

It seems as if the US is doing all it can to assure that Russia is able to take over Ukraine with as little resistance as possible. While I do not want the US to be drawn into the war, I also do not want to see Ukraine over run by by Russia and aide denied by others simply because the US told an ally "I don't think so"! The USA has gone from a position of leadership to being just another country. We might as well be Greece or Nepal for all the good we are doing. Poland is showing more leadership than the US regarding Ukraine. Is Biden letting Russia run over Ukraine as payback for Hunter's business adventures?

Four days ago, Joebama, Blinken and the Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon were begging and threatening Poland to give Ukraine the fighters... Now all of a sudden they don't want it to happen???
One might get the idea that they (Winkin [the warmongers in the House and Senate], Blinken and Nod-off [Joebama]) were planning something nefarious. Well, they were. (and they still are.) They wanted Poland to take the fall for starting WW IV, but their bluff was called.
Now, I expect they (Winkin, Blinkin and Nod-off) will give the Migs to some corrupt (aren't the all?) NGO who will then pass them on to Ukraine. Then Joe can say " It wasn't my fault, that must have been a secret Trump NGO, and they stabbed me in the back!!!"

So NATO countries can supply Ukraine with Javelins, Stingers, ammunition, etc. which in the hands of the Army of Ukraine have successfully held off the once mighty Russian forces and killed Russian soldiers, but an old Mig 29 is over the top? The Mig 29 which the Ukraine Air Force pilots are trained to fly? Thousands of veterans from the US and NATO have volunteered to fight for Ukraine and hundreds are already in country, using NATO supplied anti-aircraft weapons, but an old Mig 29 in the hands of the Ukraine Air Force will start WWIII? Putin is unhinged and facing a possible defeat and sure humiliation, may resort to mass murder of Ukrainian civilians and the complete destruction of major cities by stand off artillery and rocket bombardment. No matter, we must not interfere and get Putin upset or he might do something.

Why didn't Poland just call Zelenskyy and tell him to get Ukrainian jet pilots up to Warsaw ASAP and then hand them the keys to the jets after a quick paint job? They don't need to "sneak back in" ... just shoot your way back into the Ukrainian air space!
Something isn't adding up here. Sorry. The once beautiful Ukraine is being picked apart like a cooked chicken and soon only bones will be left.

Daily Mail is pouring the cold water! Someone in our military-industrial complex evaluated the offer of planes for sending to Ukraine which has the US of A doing ALL the heavy lifting. Their personnel, coordination, then our personnel. Just a gut feeling, but this simple explanation is but the tiniest tip of such a logistical iceberg. Don't get me wrong; there are about a million other ways FJB could blank this up.

Poland might do it simply because like the rest of Europe they think the U.S. will come to their rescue once things start to get out of hand. The question is, where is Ukraine's air force? They have the planes, but they don't want to fly them because of the air defense systems Russia has deployed which is why they want a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Gutless Joe supports Putin. Run and hide and crawl into a local bar at happy hour and have a few martinis.
Handing over aircraft is a nice gesture. But are they all operational? How many are ready to fuel up arm up and hit the runway? How about spare parts and aircraft mechanics? It's not that simple. Of course, we wouldn't want to intimidate Vlad since he has nukes and is threatening to use them. We have nukes too. Since Biden is a coward we expect nothing less than cowardice in action. But never fear. Kamaltoe is on the way over and knows that Russia is a big country and Ukraine is a small country and that Russia's invasion was bad. If anyone can bring peace it's her bringing a piece of arse to Putin's hotel room.
