What happened to Ted Cruz?

Original Article

I know from the volume of email I’ve received on it that Ted Cruz’s comments on January 6, 2021, calling it “a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol” have outraged many conservatives. Ted was once the darling of intellectually inclined conservatives, but I think the bloom is now off that rose. Tucker Carlson used video of Cruz’s comments as the keystone of a segment on how Republicans are being cowardly and granting Democrats their false premises on the riot at the Capitol being an insurrection or even a “terrorist attack.” As Tucker put it, he was delivering talking points for Merrick Garland.

Yesterday I kept hoping that people were taking his comments out of context. So much for that hope and the hope that there was one real Republican in the Senate.

There are times when Ted makes some really good arguments concerning conservative ideals, then out of the blue, WHAM! He goes off says something that the squad would say, and we're left wondering where the hell that came from. His comments on Jan. 6th echo what the left has been saying. Does Ted have a dual personality?

The lion that squeaked too much, Trey Gowdy, had to have a replacement for the rambling of cowardly republicans. Ted Cruz stepped up for the task of alienating the base of the party. If Cruz would explain maybe he could win back support but where Cruz stands now, he's a debutant RINO. MAGA

Ted Cruz——Got the disease. RINO!! It’s been incubating for years. Go along to Get Along. He joined that club. He’s a poster boy for weak, turncoat republicans. He’s in the Senate Club. It’s all about him, power, and money. This country is gone.

Ted Cruz also said we Trump supporters deserved all the violence coming at us during the 2016 campaign. So I really don't understand why people are surprised he is spewing his sewage again. Cruz is in the game for his own advantages, and he doesn't care about the citizens of this nation. Not really.

Before we throw Ted Cruz to the ditch, couldn't we find out why he made such a wild accusation of the J6 rally that got out of hand? Didn't Ted see the short cop waving people in J6? Didn't he see Epps' "Fed" egging people on to break the law, that fake Trumpster? There's more to this story and we should wait till we find out.

NOTHING happened to Ted Cruz. He's still the same guy that was originally seen. The difference? His mask has been removed. Once a Cruz supporter. After all he was vocal and what sprung from his lips was in agreement with my way of thinking. All THAT vanished the day he considered his nomination for POTUS. For a man who claims to love OUR CONSTITUTION so very much, he was willing to make toilet tissue of it and twist his squat body into a NBC when there was no other way. From that day forward, Cruz was sunk, never again to lift his sails and float. ENOUGH! Dirty Rotten Scoundrel doesn't begin to describe such a man.

The Washington Examiner has broken what is, so far, the best story of the year: It turns out that Jill Biden has her own “walk-up” music. That is, whenever she makes an official appearance, this music is played for her, just as Hail to the Chief is played when the president appears. Someone within the Marine Corps band wrote it, although there is some dispute as to whether the White House requested such music or the Marine Corps band members spontaneously felt that Jill needed that special song.

The debate is over. After a year spent investigating claims of election fraud, the media has determined that any fraud in the 2020 election was too insignificant to have changed the outcome and Joe Biden legitimately won. As the Congressional Select Committee winds its way to its pre-ordained conclusion that what happened at the Capitol last year was an attempt by former President Trump, every elected Republican, anyone who has ever worn a red hat (MAGA-emblazoned or not), and everyone who has ever stayed at a hotel to overthrow the government, it should be noted -- quite clearly and succinctly -- that seven hours in January was not Seven Days in May. A recent shocking report in American Thinker suggests that life insurance payouts are considerably worse then executives expected. Obvious question: is it an aberration or is it for real? Alas, a cursory examination suggests it may be for real. The scan of the following insurance companies confirms the initial report. For Prudential, they have had a massive 87% increase in death benefits paid comparing the third quarter of 2020 to the third quarter of 2021. Such a detailed breakdown wasn’t available for New York Life, but their 2021 year to date (1 Jan to 30 Sept) death benefit payout is up by 27%.

While the mainstream media, at least in 2020, tracked deaths with the fanaticism of an insurance company, they’ve always lacked accuracy. That’s why it matters when a major American insurance company, which is in the business of accurate data about deaths, announces that Americans in the 18-64 age bracket are dying in unprecedented numbers. The same data suggests that these aren’t COVID deaths, which makes them much more sinister. (snip) these are not COVID deaths. Instead, they are totally different death count from the COVID count the media insisted we know during Trump’s last year and jettisoned during Biden’s first year.

Now, we’re getting a reminder that, in the words of the old margarine commercial, “you can’t fool Mother Nature.” It turns out that all those crazy precautions were for nothing. A similarly situated station hosted a virgin population of people who had never had COVID, and two-thirds of them caught it, just as everyone will eventually. After that, other outlets, notably Alex Berenson, a former Timesman himself, published on Substack what might have been a pertinent issue: That Tejada had gotten a Moderna booster shot a day earlier. In a recent article, the brilliant commentator Victor David Hanson asks, "What is behind recent pessimistic appraisals of democracy's future from Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, Brian Williams, and other elite intellectuals and media personalities?" His answer to this question is "that the left expects to lose power over the next two years[.]" Perhaps — but on the other hand, maybe the leftists' "pessimistic appraisals" are more of a verbal ploy to suggest they are concerned about democracy when in actuality they are participating in an attempt to enact a coup against democracy, against our beloved republic.

The House of Representatives has passed a bill that seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam. The bill, H.R. 5665, is truly remarkable as it amounts to Congress making a law respecting the establishment of Islam and reducing the United States government into a tool of the world’s ayatollahs. The actual text of the bill not only seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam around the world – and solely against Islam at that – but even requires the federal government to reorganize some portions of the State Department along the lines of an Islamic religious institution which will be responsible for interpreting the Quran.

The liberal wing of the Supreme Court embarrassed itself Friday with a slew of false claims about COVID-19 during oral arguments over Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. For example, Justice Stephen Breyer claimed hospitals are at capacity because of unvaccinated Americans with COVID. This is false. But perhaps the most ridiculous false claim from a Supreme Court justice came from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from COVID. “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed.
