Justice Sotomayor Told a Huge Whopper
About Kids and COVID

Original Article

Posted By: Dreadnought, 1/8/2022 12:04:17 AM

The liberal wing of the Supreme Court embarrassed itself Friday with a slew of false claims about COVID-19 during oral arguments over Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. For example, Justice Stephen Breyer claimed hospitals are at capacity because of unvaccinated Americans with COVID. This is false. But perhaps the most ridiculous false claim from a Supreme Court justice came from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from COVID. “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed.

The numbers have been reported so badly, so inaccurately, so muddled by CDC and NIH, I am almost willing to give the unwise latina a break. Almost. In my younger years, I was considered an expert on public finance/school finance, and still retain some numbers geekery. But Kung Flu numbers make me doubt my skills. And maybe the CDC and NIH intended that.

FTA regarding Sotomayor, "How can a Supreme Court justice so irresponsibly spread misinformation? Further, why should the hospitalization rate matter at all? The issue before the court is not the severity of the disease; it’s the constitutionality of Biden’s mandates." Exactly. The courts have been politicized and corrupted and Sonia S. isn't even smart enough to be covert about her Marxist bias.

New York — Michael Lang, a co-creator and promoter of the 1969 Woodstock music festival that served as a touchstone for generations of music fans, has died. Michael Pagnotta, a spokesperson for Lang’s family, said Sunday the 77-year-old had been battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma and passed away Saturday at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. “He was absolutely an historic figure, and also a great guy,” Pagnotta, who said he had known Lang for about 30 years, told The Associated Press. “Both of those thing go hand in hand.” Along with partners Artie Kornfeld, John Roberts and Joel Rosenman, Lang put together the festival billed as “three days of peace and music”

New York — More than 800,000 noncitizens and “Dreamers” in New York City will have access to the ballot box — and could vote in municipal elections as early as next year — after Mayor Eric Adams allowed legislation to automatically become law Sunday. Opponents have vowed to challenge the new law, which the City Council approved a month ago. Unless a judge halts its implementation, New York City is the first major U.S. city to grant widespread municipal voting rights to noncitizens. More than a dozen communities across the U.S. already allow noncitizens to cast ballots in local elections, including 11 towns in Maryland and two in Vermont. CORRECTION*

President Joe Biden will mark the end of his first 12 months in office with the singular record of holding fewer news conferences than any of his five immediate predecessors at the equivalent point in their tenure. The lack of public scrutiny is reflected in abysmal personal approval ratings that have sunk to levels never before seen by other recent Oval Office inhabitants, as Breitbart News reported. According to figures compiled by the Associated Press (AP), Biden has done just 22 media interviews, fewer than any of his six most recent White House predecessors at the same mark in their respective presidencies.

Last night a story was reported on local news affiliates about a Houston teacher who put her teenage son in the trunk of her car and drove to a COVID-19 testing location. And she has a warrant out for her arrest. Sarah Beam has been charged with endangering a child. Cy-Fair ISD Police Department said a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

To competently manage any situation, accurate information is a requirement. Americans require precise data about the COVID pandemic to analyze the performance of our leaders and assess personal risk. Unfortunately, it is becoming more apparent that the corporate media and public health officials have subjected us to inaccurate data and word games for the last two years. We all remember the CNN death ticker that ran until Joe Biden’s inauguration, and Americans are still subjected to regular hysteria about hospitalizations and cases. One new statistic from New York is just the tip of the iceberg on how the “experts” have manipulated some Americans into mass hysteria.
