San Francisco Bay was hit by a third day of shocking looting, with a gang of thieves smashing glass cases at a jewelry store and emptying them as staff screamed in terror. The latest incident happened at a Sam's Jewelers store at the Southland Mall in Hayward around 5:30pm PST Sunday evening, and was caught on camera. Robbers—said to have been part of a gang of around 40 to 50 teens who entered the mall—wielded hammers to smash display cases at Sam's, before making off with goods. Dramatic footage shot from a nearby store showed shop workers screaming with fear as the disturbing scene unfolded.

Gee, who could have possibly seen this as the outcome of the very lax laws in San Fornication?!?!?!?
Well, other than anyone with more than 6 working brain cells -- which leaves out all lie-berals!!!

BLM - Black Looting Matters. You might want to change your doors to the revolving kind with little slots to slip into to get inside the store. Harder to get in and especially out. Or shoot to kill. I don't have a problem with that. God forgive me for saying that but I have had my humanity leached out by these cretins.

What would happen if a dozen armed guards were standing there to greet the peaceful protestors intent on helping Louis Vuitton by making room for Vuitton's Winter collection or Spring, not sure how that works? Vuitton would save so much money on staff not having to perform inventory. Do you think if there were armed guards who knew the law backed them up that the peaceful protestors would look elsewhere?

They may have elected liberals, but they didn't elect them to NOT do their jobs, which is prosecution of crimes like this. No wonder Chesa is up for recall.

It's common knowledge that if you let criminals get away with small crimes (breaking a window) they will soon gravitate to bigger crimes. This won't stop until Democrat lawmakers are ousted from office.

Except these last few aren’t IN San Francisco. They’re in suburbia. SF stores are closing faster than Obama’s kids can loot them, so they’re moving to where the stores were kinda still safe. Uh oh. You get what you vote for. And speaking of that, Governor PrettyBoy is still MIA.

No real surprise here. Southland Mall is in a sketchy area. The Walnut Creek mall is tired looking, and close by freeway to questionable neighborhoods. Places to really be concerned? Palo Alto stores getting hit, around Stanford and Valley Fair Mall in San Jose. That’s where the wealthy liberal left shop. Bet they have top notch security. Hit those places and I will take notice. (Yes, Stanford mall’s Coach store has been hit once I think. But not again, that I’ve heard.)

And here you virtue-signaling progressive wokesters thought "Banana Republic" was a quaint but outdated aphorism, certainly nothing that would apply to your own neighborhood.
Didn't anyone ever tell you to be careful what you wish for?.

What in the world is wrong with people? I have never seen anything like this. I cannot imagine going into a store to take something I did not pay for first. I know my upbringing was nothing out of the ordinary. I grew up in a very traditional American family that valued faith, family and a good work ethic. I just can’t understand how you can behave this way. I do know that this country cannot continue to allow such lawlessness to go on because ignoring it will only beget more of the same. Democrats have enabled this and the entire country will suffer if this is not addressed. Democrats are on a path to destroy everything we know and love in this country and the acceptance of this kind of behavior just drives another nail in the country’s coffin.

This wasn't just in San Francisco - but in the 'safe' suburbs. About 2 weeks ago a group used hammers to smash & robbed a jewelry store in nice, mostly middle class Concord (east over the hills from Oakland) and this week a group hit a Nordstrom in Walnut Creek - which is a bit north of Concord and is more upper middle class. Walnut Creek, 60 years ago was mainly pear & walnut orchards. A relative's family owned 300 acres of orchards there - the soil is rich & deep. They were forced to sell as California shafted the farmers and changed laws to deny tax exemptions to agricultural land. The homestead is still there - and cleverly the family matriarch helped found The Garden Conservatory - which has protected the few acres they have left.

Agree with #22. The CEO of Patagonia is a screaming leftist. The company is so woke it will make your brain hurt. I haven't bought anything from Nike in 15 years and never will. Most of these company's products are cheap, imported crap that won't last a year.

"Zarin" I've lived in Concord since 62", and in the last 20+years, this state, surrounding counties and cities have changed beyond recognition. Political, corporate and individual greed have taken control of this once beautiful state. I can still remember many orchards and open fields in the area, never thinking it would or could be gone so fast.

In the 1930s and earlier when heavily armed gangs came to town to rob the bank, frequently ordinary citizens took up guns, often rifles and shot them down right there. Coffeyville, KS wasthe end of thdd Dalton gang, and Northfield, Minnesota ended the raids of the James - Younger gang. Various Dillinger era gangs got shot up by cops and citizens combined, too.
This needs to become a modern trend.

What would happen if you shot one or more of these creatures?
YOU would be the criminal and the Creature would be the victim.
If you were unlucky enough not to kill that creature you would be sued by it.

Old Sam should have had a couple of AK-47's behind the counters. Shoot first. Then ask questions. Are you here for reparations young man? Can't be that these vermin are behind these organized lootings. Someone else is coordinating this. Organized crime gangs. Obummer? I wouldn't put it past his 1/2 black a**.

Whodathunk? You let people get away with theft by putting a price on when you get trouble, and then the folks get so used to getting away with it that they up the ante. This’ll no doubt be spreading to a city near you.
