A steel manufacturing company has been ordered to forfeit $6 million —a near-financial death sentence—after admitting it had run a pipeline for “dozens” illegal immigrants from Mexico to come and work for it, undercutting competitors. All Steel Carports Inc. told the court in a sentencing memo that owner Ignacio Chavez, who came to the U.S illegally himself before winning legal residency in 2009, didn’t consider hiring illegal immigrants to be a big deal. “In his culture laws are there but few respect them,” the company’s lawyers wrote. The Biden administration cut him a break, dropping human smuggling and money laundering charges the Trump administration had brought.

--good --as I have been saying for years, the company that hires illegals should go broke from fines, simultaneously with the start of the prison sentence for the executive(s) responsible--

So, an illegal alien hiring illegals. Just perfect. How about deporting the owner after rescinding his citizenship?

FTA: "'In his culture laws are there but few respect them,' the company’s lawyers wrote."
Was the lawyer referring to Mexico or the Uniparty D.C. establishment? The FJB regime has the same culture.

Ignacio Chavez was only doing what he thought was the norm in America. He learned from the Marxist Communist democrat/republicrat politicians and berry/biteme's administration open example of it being okay by setting their example. What got Chavez in bad with the Marxist Communists was he did not pay/donate to them their 10% off the top his business gross sales.

It's the "new" American way...laws are for those who will obey them. Compliance of the boobs is everything.

Chavez will soon be on his legs again. The first vegetable will give him and every member of his family 1/2 million for the separation they had to 'endure' initially and he will be a multi millionaire again!

Haven't we heard about all cultures are equal, that ours isn't better than others.

In in his culture laws are merely suggestions. Well guess what you're here now and it doesn't work that way. The Biden administration is setting a poor example and also treating laws as suggestions or hinderences to be ignored. If your lawless culture/country was so good, you should have stayed there.

HE PROVES WHY WE WANT & NEED THE WALL!
TOO TRUE: They say America needs to be brimming with people from cultures that have no respect for laws, but at the same time the rest of us need to dutifully pay our taxes, so we can subsidize people who have no respect for the law, and pay the salaries of those who encourage them to be here.

We're lucky the Justice Department didn't give him an award for saving the U.S. Government the cost of smuggling the illegals itself.

Why isn't everybody in the Administration and Congress fined into bankruptcy for encouraging (paying) illegals to enter the country? They found only 1 business owner but not millions of others? My guess is that there is a bigger story here.

His culture is the problem. Hispanic culture believes it is perfectly acceptable to ignore crimes committed by fellow hispanics. After all, La Raza! They don't seem to have a concept of equality before the law, without respect for race, religion and everything else American values are supposed to reflect. Despite all the constant hysteria that we are all racists, it is actually the left, the demoncrats and hispanic culture that is thoroughly racist.

“In his culture laws are there but few respect them". That legal argument is nothing new. 30 years ago I was on a jury in Marin County, CA deciding a civil case where the plaintiff sued a company for damages after he fell out of the back of a company owned pickup truck while on a weekend fishing trip with the owner's son. The judge told us to take into account in the Hispanic culture it's normal, not illegal to ride in the bed of a truck. The resulting financial award made him a millionaire and bankrupted the small company.

Ignatio needs to be stripped of U.S. citizenship and deported to Mexico as well. Let him start exporting car ports from Guadalajara for a change.

Why did the owner feel the need to establish a pipeline of illegals? He could have found all he needed already in the country.
