NEW HOPE, Pa. — The Democrats of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, felt the red wave building over the summer when frustrated parents filled school board meetings to complain about masking requirements and an academic theory on systemic racism that wasn't even taught in local schools. They realized the wave was growing when such concerns, fueled by misleading reports on conservative media, began showing up in unrelated elections for judges, sheriff and even the county recorder of deeds. And so they were not surprised — but devastated all the same — when Democrats all across this key county northeast of Philadelphia were wiped out in

Dimmiecrats have their panties in a knot over strong Republican showing. Fear that Trump is hovering in the background - just out of sight.

Didn't read the article. Don't read anything from the AP. That said, I think that the rats allowed the red wave in this election because they see that more and more states are uncovering their cheating in the 2020 election.

State and National level democrats can't seem to understand that most Americans actually DO want America to survive; that most Americans DO see the US as a country worth saving because of all the good it has done in the past and would do again. They're too lost in their La-La Land of destruction (for the sake of universal power) to see the wave of backlash coming at them. Every time a local democrat says "I've been a lifelong democrat but I no longer recognize my party", a stitch is repaired in the nation's flag and another bit of hope reveals itself.

A growing Republican wave means nothing if those Republicans elected or reelected are like the 13 Rhinos in the House and 19 Rhinos in the Senate that passed the infrastructure bill that would have failed without their support. It also means nothing is they are like Murkowski, Collins, Romney, Graham etc who continue to vote to put radicals in key administration positions.

Poor countries, rocked by storms and flooding from climate change, have spent years trying to hold the big carbon-emitters accountable. While most rich nations have fiercely resisted this liability, attendees at COP26 will give it another try in Glasgow next week. The US is the $2 trillion elephant in the room. A year before the 2022 midterm elections, Republicans hold a clear lead on the congressional ballot as President Joe Biden's approval rating sinks to a new low of 38%. A USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, taken Wednesday through Friday, found that Biden's support cratered among the independent voters who delivered his margin of victory over President Donald Trump one year ago. Biden and his party are poised for a rebound, advocates argue, after the House passed a $1.2 trillion "hard" infrastructure bill late Friday, sending the signature measure to Biden's desk for his signature. The U.S. jobs report for October hit all the right notes — except for one. The big disappointment? The number of people in the labor force barely grew, leaving the rate of participation at the lowest level since the early 1970s. Put another way, millions of people who had jobs before the pandemic still haven’t returned to work. And that doesn’t even take into account a few million more who likely would entered the labor force had there been no pandemic at all. The result: There’s not enough workers to fill a near-record number of open jobs. If the labor
