A year before the 2022 midterm elections, Republicans hold a clear lead on the congressional ballot as President Joe Biden's approval rating sinks to a new low of 38%. A USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, taken Wednesday through Friday, found that Biden's support cratered among the independent voters who delivered his margin of victory over President Donald Trump one year ago. Biden and his party are poised for a rebound, advocates argue, after the House passed a $1.2 trillion "hard" infrastructure bill late Friday, sending the signature measure to Biden's desk for his signature. An encouraging economic report released Friday

Yes, first a big drumroll.......LOL............Today...... "House Majority Whip Rep. Polls have nothing to do with Democrats being elected. It didn’t matter in 2020. And won’t matter in ‘22. How much cheating can they get away with is the only question.

We MUST NOT count our chickens quite yet. It is a long time to the next election and even longer to '24. Don't let our guards down or relax. Our Dim opponents may be running scared but rest assured they are devising new tricks and cheats every day. This is a generational war for the hearts and survival of America as we knew it. We are still losing this war.

Well #1, these polls are so skewed that I do not believe an honestly performed approval poll would be as high as this. Even in Seattle and other blue areas, JB is not disliked but despised.

Brandon (more accurately his handlers) will either start a war or get some of his terrorists buddies to attack us so he can respond. People rally behind the president in these situations, at least initially. They just have to work out the timing so the rally sentiment peaks around election time.

Fake poll. Impossible for Biden to get 38%. More likely figure is 18%. He has royally screwed up everything: the border, the shipping, foreign policy, gas and oil. COVID-19, and everything else. He has no success to point to.

This would only be encouraging if we had an actual opposition party to take advantage of it. We don't. I might think so if they removed McConnell and McCarthy, the so-called "leaders" in Congress and replaced them with actual leaders and if the RNC stopped being the incumbent support committee, regardless of how the incumbent votes.

Poor countries, rocked by storms and flooding from climate change, have spent years trying to hold the big carbon-emitters accountable. While most rich nations have fiercely resisted this liability, attendees at COP26 will give it another try in Glasgow next week. The US is the $2 trillion elephant in the room. That figure is a rough estimate (most likely at the very low end) of how much the world’s largest economy could owe other nations if it accepted liability for the “loss and damage” caused by its historical emissions of carbon dioxide, according to Richard Tol, an economics professor at

The Lincoln Project was seemingly on top of the world a year ago after creating a super PAC to take down President Donald Trump. The organization was flush with cash and made up of a who's who of disgruntled Republicans, including George Conway, husband to top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway. It was a reminder of the multitude of issues the group has faced since rising to prominence.

NEW HOPE, Pa. — The Democrats of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, felt the red wave building over the summer when frustrated parents filled school board meetings to complain about masking requirements and an academic theory on systemic racism that wasn't even taught in local schools. They realized the wave was growing when such concerns, fueled by misleading reports on conservative media, began showing up in unrelated elections for judges, sheriff and even the county recorder of deeds. And so they were not surprised — but devastated all the same — when Democrats all across this key county northeast of Philadelphia were wiped out in

The U.S. jobs report for October hit all the right notes — except for one. The big disappointment? The number of people in the labor force barely grew, leaving the rate of participation at the lowest level since the early 1970s. Put another way, millions of people who had jobs before the pandemic still haven’t returned to work. And that doesn’t even take into account a few million more who likely would entered the labor force had there been no pandemic at all. The result: There’s not enough workers to fill a near-record number of open jobs. If the labor

But that plan, which includes a vote on the infrastructure bill as well, may also backfire on top Democrats due to progressive opposition to passing infrastructure without reconciliation. Pelosi, D-Calif., and other top Democrats Thursday night and Friday morning had projected confidence that the House would pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the reconciliation bill Friday.
