Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said again on Thursday that there will be no mandates for children to receive coronavirus vaccinations in Florida.
He also said officials will not set up state-run vaccination sites similar to the ones opened at the beginning of the year for adults, WFLA reported.
“The vaccines are going to everybody in the normal medical system the way it is,” DeSantis explained. “So we’re not doing vaccine sites. They’re at the pharmacies. They’re readily available for everybody.” “I don’t think there’s any difference in the vaccine that’s doing,” he continued. “I think they may take a lower dosage.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday that his state will officially file a lawsuit against President Biden's COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
During a press conference with state Attorney General Ashley Moody in Tampa, DeSantis said Florida would be joining Georgia, Alabama and private plaintiffs in suing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) over its vaccine mandate for employers. "This is not consistent with a government of limited and enumerated powers," the Republican governor said. "There is no general police power, there is no power to mandate on the American people from the federal government."
"Individuals should make informed choices about their own healthcare," he added.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis appears unstoppable.
A year before the Florida gubernatorial election, the Republican governor has nearly $60 million in the bank. The GOP is on the cusp of becoming the state’s majority party after erasing Democrats’ enormous voter registration advantage. The Democratic field is splintering and support for President Joe Biden has collapsed in the state.
It’s a situation that has alarmed Democrats, who fear that Florida’s days as a battleground state are over and that national donors will write off their candidates.

President Joe Biden, having failed twice to convince House Democrats to back his legislative agenda, resorted Thursday to personally calling lawmakers to beg them to vote for the $1.75 trillion Build Back Better Act.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tentatively scheduled a vote on the Build Back Better Act, or the Democrats’ social welfare and climate change spending reconciliation act.
Biden has pinned his legislative agenda on his passing dual infrastructure bills, the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the Build Back Better Act. He expected his legislative majorities in the House and Senate to pass these bills despite the frictions between House moderate and progressive Democrats.

As the United States careens off the economic tracks towards stagflation, the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress continue to posit that their proposed massive spending bill will counterintuitively decrease rates of inflation.

After Buttigieg praised the “historic” plan’s focus on providing “action on climate before its too late” and massive increased spending on “finally [getting] preschool for every child in this country” and “making childcare affordable for every family,” Wallace pressed Buttigieg on “the issues Americans care about the most,” including inflation.

The U.S. Department of Justice is suing Texas over its new voting law, passed earlier this year in the Legislature.
The Texas voting law will “disenfranchise eligible Texas citizens who seek to exercise their right to vote, including voters with limited English proficiency, voters with disabilities, elderly voters, members of the military deployed away from home, and American citizens residing outside of the country,” the suit claims.
The law, which was ushered through by Texas Republicans as Senate Bill 1, further tightens state election laws and constrains local control of elections by limiting counties’ ability to expand voting options.

Even as a full-grown adult with adult children, I still like cartoons. As I was raising my two sons, I made it a point to usually keep only one TV in the house. If video games were being played, or cartoons being watched, it was always a family affair — and intentionally designed as such. The idea was to compel negotiation, compromise, and good behavior all around. Any fighting over what to watch or play immediately resulted in no one watching or playing anything. Kids like to play and watch, so they naturally figured out how mostly not to fight about these things.

A dismal performance by Democratic candidates in New Jersey and Virginia is sparking a sense of panic among Democrats who now view their Senate and House majorities as in serious peril in the 2022 midterm elections.
In Virginia, a state President Biden won by 10 points a year ago, Democrats saw former Gov. Terry McAuliffe fall to defeat in a state the polls suggested he had been leading months ago.
In New Jersey, a strong performance by little-known former GOP Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli against Gov. Phil Murphy (D) was too close to call. Democrats had expected Murphy to win easily.

Ted Cruz (R-Texas), also raised the specter of migrants attempting to force their way into the US

Making Covid vaccines compulsory for care home workers had little effect on boosting uptake, industry insiders say amid fears forcing the jabs on NHS workers will also be futile. Ministers have made it a legal requirement for all care home staff to get their second jab by November 11 or face losing their job, with the hope of boosting uptake and protecting vulnerable residents. But care bosses told MailOnline today the policy failed in its main objective of boosting uptake and was enforced 'without considering' the consequences. Critics warn it will exacerbate staffing shortages.(Snip)The insider said the 'no jab, no job' policy was already 'crippling' for some

A key source who provided information to British ex-spy Christopher Steele for his 'dirty dossier' of allegations against Donald Trump has been arrested in the US. Igor Danchenko, a Russian-born analyst living in the United States, was arrested on Thursday by federal agents assigned to John H. Durham's special counsel inquiry into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation, according to the New York Times. Danchenko was the primary researcher for Steele's dossier alleging that Trump's 2016 presidential campaign conspired with Russia in a covert operation to beat Hillary Clinton.

San Francisco has been condemned for mandating COVID vaccines for children—even though no one under the age of 20 has been killed by the virus in the city. Figures from San Francisco's official COVID tracker show that out of the 664 citizens that have succumbed to the disease since it surfaced in the states nearly two years ago, none have been aged 21 or younger. What's more, only 1,529 kids in the city have come down with the virus in that span. 'San Francisco is going to mandate 5-11 year olds have the vaccine to participate in society,' one Twitter user wrote Thursday morning,

The first generation HPV vaccine cut cervical cancer rates among women by 87%, British researchers reported. The study published Wednesday in the journal The Lancet estimates that by mid-2019, there were 450 fewer cases of cervical cancer and 17,200 fewer cases of pre-cancers than expected in the vaccinated population. Researchers at Kings College London and the British government looked at population-based cancer registry data in the UK between January 2006 and June 2019 for seven groups of women, comparing those who were vaccinated to those who were not.

The New Jersey Governor race was called for the Democrat incumbent Phil Murphy but the allegations about the voting irregularities will go on!
The Republican National Committee has sent 20 elections lawyers to New Jersey! Suspicions over voting irregularities in Bergen and Essex county have made headlines across the nation!
The latest example of voting machine malfeasance comes via the New Jersey governor’s race, where one of the closest contests in the nation has been marred by voting anomalies. This includes technical glitches with electronic poll books and reports that voting machines suddenly went down on Election Day. The votes on those machines were not even counted.

In the spring of 2021 during my first year at the U.S. Military Academy, I was told that my decision to reject getting the “optional” COVID-19 vaccine would not negatively affect my time as a cadet at West Point.
That quickly changed. My Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act medical privacy rights were violated when my vaccination status was released to members of the freshman class and upperclassmen who were planning our summer details, to which an officer stated, “HIPAA isn’t the be-all, end-all.”

For Joe Biden, reports of $450,000 payouts to illegal border crossers are "garbage" -- as is the suggestion that any such payouts would incentive more illegal border crossing. Biden's bee ess response came as a result of a question from Fox News's Peter Doocy: (Snip for tweet) Here's the Oct. 28 Wall Street Journal report which Biden effectively called "garbage":

The Biden administration published a rule Thursday that requires workers at large companies and institutions to get fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by Jan. 4 or face weekly testing. Persons who refuse to get vaccinated would also have to wear masks while on the job under the long-awaited regulation from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration that applies to 84 million workers. Employers must start providing paid time off to employees who want to get vaccinated and recover from any side effects by Dec. 5. Unvaccinated workers should also start wearing masks by that date, the rule says. Senior administration officials said employers could face fines of up to $14,000

Democrats haven’t grasped this yet, but it’s too late for them. The die is cast. An electoral bloodbath awaits next year, akin to or surpassing what happened to their party in 2010.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s and the Squad’s anti-American leftist politics drive their party, and that’s beginning to register at a gut-level with voters. What voters – critically, that big, pivotal segment known as independents – now feel is revulsion for Democrats in not just one way but many. The intensity of that revulsion is bound to grow in the coming months.

While the Washington Post piously reminds us that “democracy dies in darkness,” it’s busy shooting out the lights: On Tuesday it published a lengthy call to Facebook to shut down dissident media, including PJ Media, because, you see, the non-Leftist publications are daring to spread “climate change denial” on the platform. Not just democracy, but also the freedom of speech will die in darkness if the Post gets its way.
The Post article focuses upon a newly published study from one of the endless stream of far-Left advocacy groups masquerading as think tanks, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), which the Post hastens to assure us

By any reasonable measure, Tuesday’s off-year elections around the country were a sweeping repudiation of the Democratic Party, as the defeat of Virginia’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe by virtually unknown Republican Glenn Youngkin shows. The donkey party’s extreme-left vision for America has suffered what could be a fatal blow, but only if the GOP is smart enough to take advantage of this great opportunity.
A quick look around the country on Wednesday morning led to an inescapable conclusion: Average Americans are fed up with the Democrats’ woke agenda and are eager to escape it.

Ten months into the Biden Era, the American electorate has spoken up, and it sounds a lot like a rowdy, fired-up crowd at a college football game:“Let’s Go Brandon!!!”
The catchphrase of the year — a sanitized way of saying “F–k Joe Biden” that amounts to a dual-warhead cruise missile raining down equal contempt on both our blundering president and the media who shamelessly cover for him — is a three-word encapsulation of everything the voters had to say to Democrats Tuesday, from Puget Sound to Long Island Sound. The word “reeling” appeared in so many press accounts in descriptions of Democrats

A plan being circulated by President Joe Biden’s administration to provide border crossers, subjected to former President Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy, with $450,000 reparations-style payouts has the potential to turn illegal alien families into millionaires seemingly overnight, a new analysis states.
The Biden administration is weighing whether to provide border crossers — who were subjected to the Zero Tolerance policy — with $450,000 each as part of a payout in lawsuits filed. The plan could cost American taxpayers about $1 billion.

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that Americans should be grateful that this Thanksgiving would be dramatically better than last year’s Thanksgiving.“A year ago, we were headed into a Thanksgiving where public health experts were advising against traveling or gathering with family and friends,” he said. The president recalled spending Thanksgiving dinner in 2020 with just his wife Jill and his daughter and son-in-law.“Later this month, our tables and our hearts are gonna be full, thanks to the vaccines,” he said, speaking to Americans from the White House on the importance of vaccinating children age 5-11 with the coronavirus vaccine.

In another defeat for Democrats and the left's agenda on Tuesday night, a majority of Minneapolis voters defeated a ballot question seeking to abolish the city's police department and replace it with a public health agency by a margin of 56 to 44 percent.
Unsurprisingly, the "defund the police" crowd in Minneapolis did not take their defeat at the ballot box too well after campaigning to entirely abolish the police department in Minnesota's largest city amid rising crime that caused citywide warnings of carjackings to be issued last month.

If there’s one thing everyone in the country can agree on right now, it’s that we don’t really agree on anything in the country. The more precise, John Locke-ian way to describe would be that the social contract which is required for a free and open society has been fundamentally violated and – without it – no longer provides any cohesion to our political system.
Leftists will point to the support for Donald Trump as the right having violated the contract and that, having done so, gave them no choice but to respond with militant resistance.

Americans have long been among the hardest-working in the world. But Biden’s mishandling of Covid has caused millions of our best workers to quit their jobs each month.
The “Great Resignation,” as it’s being called, should be by the occupant of the White House who lacks the mental capacity to do his job. Instead, top workers in every field are the ones resigning, which leaves America without the manpower necessary to keep our great country running.
Americans expect good service, and do not tolerate long waiting lines and shortages that are familiar to people in many other countries. When hundreds of thousands are stranded at our airports,

The mother of the skirt-wearing boy, who was convicted of raping a ninth-grade girl in a Loudoun County school restroom, said Monday that the victim was to blame for being assaulted because she did not make stronger attempts to defend herself.
The boy's mother said in an interview that her son, who last week was found guilty on two counts of rape, was not transgender despite reports alleging that he was. She said he just likes to wear skirts sometimes.
But she also defended her son's actions pertaining to the sexual assault, falsely alleging that, at the time of the May 28 assault, he "wanted to have sex in the bathroom,

For many Americans, the Marines occupy an almost mythic place in their minds as an invincible force that runs to the guns and fights no matter what. That’s why it was so shocking to learn that, during a joint training exercise in the Mojave Desert, Britain’s Royal Marines inflicted such a shellacking on the Americans that the latter had to surrender halfway through the exercise. This is a direct result of the Pentagon having gone woke under Obama—something that Trump failed to undo—followed by Biden doubling down on Obama’s policies. (snip) Obama purged the officer class of old-timers and brought in progressive ideologues.

Armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed was one of four people who handled the weapon prior to Alec Baldwin firing it while rehearsing a scene for the indie-western. As a result, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said that the investigation is largely focused on her as well as how a live round made its way to the set of the film at all.

Senator Mike Braun from Indiana has secured the support of forty other Republican senators to formally challenge President Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine rules on employers with 100 or more employees. Braun is the ranking member of the Senate Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety. Biden’s mandate, to be written by the Department of Labor and enforced through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is expected to be completed and distributed any day now. The subcommittee has jurisdiction over OSHA.
There are some notable exemptions to Biden’s vaccine mandate, besides religious objections and medical exemptions.

We’ve been writing about the amazing red wave during the elections last night.
But it’s not just Republicans getting into office and booting Democrats out, there’s a another underlying take on this wave — the outsiders who aren’t lifetime politicians winning. People who came in because they’ve just had enough of the professional politicians dictating to all of us as they have over the past year in regard to COVID and the Democratic narrative. Real people who believe their obligation is to listen to the people and serve. Imagine. What a concept!
We’ve spoken about business man Glenn Youngkin at length and wrote earlier about Vickie Paladino, a community activist

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments on a case involving an overly restrictive New York law concerning gun permits this week. It’s being called the most important Second Amendment case in a decade and would expand the definition of the “right to keep and bear arms.”
The law requires a citizen wanting a concealed carry permit to show “proper cause” before obtaining such a license in locations typically open to the general public, even in rural areas.
Why would any citizen be required to “show cause” to exercise any right in the Constitution? “The idea that you would need a license
