Advisors to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended on Wednesday that all U.S. adults younger than age 60 get vaccinated against hepatitis B. Under the new policy, tens of millions of adults in the 30-to-59 age range could get their shots, protecting them against this potentially chronic liver disease. The new recommendation aims to prevent infection among middle-aged adults with hepatitis B increasingly impacting people in their 40s and 50s in recent years. 'We cannot eliminate hepatitis B in the U.S. without a new approach,' said CDC scientist Dr Mark Weng.(Snip)Adults commonly catch the disease through sexual contact and needle sharing,

Comments:

Make it mandatory, under threat of being rendered unemployable. It's the American way. Besides, it might even increase profits for the insurance industry, which is a vital cog in sucking money out of the economy.

So to summarize: The CDC mandates that you have 2 Covid 19 shots, followed by regular booster shots the rest of your life, at 6 months intervals, then a flu shot, and now a hepatitis shot. Additionally, you are to wear a mask, not visit relatives on holidays, and are advised to avoid any over the counter medicines. There is no guarantee that any of this works, and no one is liable if it don't. As many people will lose their will to live under this regimen, the CDC advises they are not responsible for that.

FTA: "We cannot eliminate hepatitis B in the U.S. without a new approach..." How about starting with not allowing millions of illegal aliens with various unregulated diseases and horrendous sanitary habits to stream across our border and get chauffeured all across our country? THAT would be a "new approach", and a very effective one.

Announcing the WuFlu shot's availability got many to voluntarily receive it right away. Saying it will help protect you if you get it didn't motivate all those remaining. Saying it will help protect others motivated some others, but not all. Saying it will be dangerous NOT to get it mootivated a few others, but not all. Saying you'll lose your job if you still refuse motivated a lot more, but still not all. Sooner or later they're bound to consider sneaking up and jabbing us from behind, or just sneaking the juice into other meds (or finding a way to put it into our food and water supply). Am I the only one paranoid enough to wonder whether any kind of vaccination has been spiked with the experimental mRNA covid shot? I've never wanted the Hep-B shot, and this year I'm even hesitant to get the seasonal flu shot...

Hep B is not due to unsanitary conditions. Usually due to infected needles or infected blood transfusions. In the far east it is commonly transmitted during birth. For healthcare workers in most institutions, it is already a requirement in the US.

This was one of the many vaccinations that I got before traveling to many former soviet states, Russia, Ukraine and several more, many trips over a decade. I wasn't worried about sexual transmission, THAT I can control, but with the crazy driving over there, there was a real possibility of a serious auto accident and a need for emergency medical care in some really "iffy" place, which might include less than sanitary conditions, and perhaps a blood transfusion that I might not be in a position to resist. I got Hep A, B and C, IIRC. The list was long, and certainly had several different kinds of hepatitis vaccinations. I got at least 7 or 8 different vaccinations over a few months, several were hard to find, or had to be ordered specifically for me, like yellow fever. At that point, in the early 2000s, I trusted what CDC put up on their web page and got all the recommended vaccinations for the areas where I would be traveling. You WILL get bitten by a lot of mosquitos, AC and window screens are pretty rare or unknown quantities in a lot of those places. I wouldn't be so trusting of the CDC these days. But, these old vaccines are what a real vaccine is supposed to be, and have a long record of safety....unlike The Shot, which fails on both of those counts.

The lucrative $50,000-per-year journalist tax break that Democrats have tucked within President Biden’s multitrillion-dollar social welfare bill is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $1.6 billion over the next decade. A new analysis of the legislation by the Joint Committee on Taxation, a special congressional panel made up of 10 senior lawmakers from both chambers of Congress, found that taxpayers would be on the hook for more than $1.6 billion if the tax credit becomes law. The credit would allow “local news” outlets to receive a quarterly tax credit, “equal to 50%” of a journalist’s wages up to a cap of $12,500-per-quarter.
