Bank of America is warning that gas prices could go significantly higher than they currently are as Americans are currently paying approximately $3.41 per gallon across the U.S. for regular and just over $4 per gallon for premium.
“Bank of America is now predicting that Brent crude oil, which drives gas prices, will zoom to $120 a barrel by June 2022,” CNN reported. “That’s 45% higher than current levels.”
Francisco Blanch, Bank of America’s head of global commodities, spoke with CNN about the prediction, noting that back in June he predicted that the price of crude oil would shoot to $100 a barrel.

In another defeat for Democrats and the left's agenda on Tuesday night, a majority of Minneapolis voters defeated a ballot question seeking to abolish the city's police department and replace it with a public health agency by a margin of 56 to 44 percent.
Unsurprisingly, the "defund the police" crowd in Minneapolis did not take their defeat at the ballot box too well after campaigning to entirely abolish the police department in Minnesota's largest city amid rising crime that caused citywide warnings of carjackings to be issued last month.

If there’s one thing everyone in the country can agree on right now, it’s that we don’t really agree on anything in the country. The more precise, John Locke-ian way to describe would be that the social contract which is required for a free and open society has been fundamentally violated and – without it – no longer provides any cohesion to our political system.
Leftists will point to the support for Donald Trump as the right having violated the contract and that, having done so, gave them no choice but to respond with militant resistance.

Americans have long been among the hardest-working in the world. But Biden’s mishandling of Covid has caused millions of our best workers to quit their jobs each month.
The “Great Resignation,” as it’s being called, should be by the occupant of the White House who lacks the mental capacity to do his job. Instead, top workers in every field are the ones resigning, which leaves America without the manpower necessary to keep our great country running.
Americans expect good service, and do not tolerate long waiting lines and shortages that are familiar to people in many other countries. When hundreds of thousands are stranded at our airports,

The mother of the skirt-wearing boy, who was convicted of raping a ninth-grade girl in a Loudoun County school restroom, said Monday that the victim was to blame for being assaulted because she did not make stronger attempts to defend herself.
The boy's mother said in an interview that her son, who last week was found guilty on two counts of rape, was not transgender despite reports alleging that he was. She said he just likes to wear skirts sometimes.
But she also defended her son's actions pertaining to the sexual assault, falsely alleging that, at the time of the May 28 assault, he "wanted to have sex in the bathroom,

As world leaders gather in Scotland for the United Nations climate conference, Americans are facing the highest prices for gasoline since 2014.
The national average price of gas rose two cents over the past week to $3.402, according to the American Automobile Association. One month ago, the national average was $3.192. One year ago, it was $2.131.
Silver lining: the two-cent gain was the slowest weekly increase in over a month, according to AAA.
According to new data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), total domestic gasoline stocks fell by 2 million barrels to 215.7 million barrels last week. Gasoline demand also fell.
“The drop in demand has helped slow price increases,

For very good reason, the media and Democrats feel threatened and terrified by the “Let’s go, Brandon!” chant, which is why we must never stop saying it.
If the organized left understands nothing else, it understands the power that comes when normal, everyday people realize they are not alone.
This is why, among the joyless left, there was a weekend-wide, five-alarm freakout over a Southwest Airlines pilot reportedly saying over the intercom, “Let’s go, Brandon.”
Before I go any further, it’s important to point out that this particular pilot incident might not have happened.

President Joe Biden complained that Russia and Saudi Arabia were not producing enough oil to alleviate high gas prices in the United States, despite his administration’s efforts to reduce domestic production.
“I do think the idea that Russia and Saudi Arabia, and other major producers are not going to pump more oil so people can have gasoline to get to and from work, for example, is not right,” Biden said during a press conference after the G20 Summit in Europe.
On Saturday, the president urged energy producing countries at the summit to boost oil production to pressure OPEC+ nations to increase supply and reduce gas prices around the world.

Several states are looking at Christmas tree shortages ahead of this year’s holiday season, according to reports.
Vendors in Sacramento, California, are expected to be affected by supply chain issues in addition to droughts and fires in nearby Oregon where many vendors in the Sacramento area get their trees, according to CBS Sacramento.
Chad Ericson owns Chad’s Christmas Trees in the Sacramento area and says the droughts and fires are a significant factor in this year’s shortage of trees. [Video]
“The reason for the shortage, of course, is for the drought, fires. The weather, this year as terrible,” Ericson told CBS Sacramento.

Georgia fans had much to cheer about as they trounced their arch-rival Florida 34-7 Saturday afternoon, but, the cheer that will be remembered the most had nothing to do with the game.
It had to do with Joe Biden.
As the Gators and Bulldogs did battle on the field, Georgia fans chanted “F*ck Joe Biden” in the stands. [Video]
College towns, even in deep-red parts of the South, are bastions of liberal indoctrination and woke cancel culture. So, to see the anti-46 chant “F*ck Joe Biden” chant and its other, tamer cousin, “Let’s Go, Brandon,” spread so far and fast across the college football landscape,

Heir to the British throne Prince Charles called for a “vast military-style campaign” to combat climate change as he opened the COP26 summit in Glasgow on Monday.
Prince Charles, Duke of Edinburgh, called on the governments of the world to take a “war-like footing” to solve the supposed climate crisis.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us just how devastating a global cross-border threat can be, climate change and biodiversity loss are no different. In fact, they pose an even greater existential threat, to the extent that we have to put ourselves on what might be called a war-like footing,” Charles said.

Progressive activists showed up to an Arizona wedding officiated by Sen. Krysten Sinema (D) to protest her opposition to Democrats' massive spending plans, prompting the bride and her mother to plead with demonstrators to stop 'ruining' the event.
Sinema was officiating the wedding for her personal friend last weekend when protesters arrived at the venue and began chanting while holding signs that included phrases like, "Sinema Betrays Democrats" and, "We voted for you — shouldn't you vote for us?" according to a video of the event posted to YouTube on Oct. 24.
Sinema spokesperson Hannah Hurley told Tuscon.com in a statement that the senator "officiated a personal friend’s wedding
