President Joe Biden promised the United Nations COPS26 Climate Summit on Monday he would remake the American economy, abandoning carbon based fossil fuels and focusing on renewable energy.
The president spoke to the summit after struggling to stay awake for the opening remarks from world leaders about the importance of addressing the issue of global warming.
Biden said he was planing “a marathon” for the United States economy that would “transform the largest economy in the world into a thriving, innovative, equitable, and just clean energy engine of net zero for a net-zero world.”

Ah, another fun day at the office. Made extra fun because instead of the usual routine — kicking CNN or MSNBC’s ass — I get to take the granddaddy of “fake news” out behind the journalism woodshop and kick the hell out of his ass. That granddaddy, of course, is discredited ex-CBS News anchor Dan Rather. As you might remember, Rather was unceremoniously removed from his “CBS Evening News” anchor desk in 2004 after the accuracy of his bogus story questioning President George W. Bush‘s military service was publicly disputed by the Bush administration. His career forever tarnished, Rather left CBS News altogether in 2006.

Southwest Airlines ‘Let’s go, Brandon!’ claim may not be all it’s cracked up to be according to social media sleuths
Associated Press reporter Colleen Long claimed over the weekend that a Southwest Airlines pilot on her flight signed off with “Let’s go, Brandon!” but the audio being passed around with her story seems to have some major inconsistencies.First off, according to Twitchy, there is real doubt as to whether the pilot said “Let’s go, Brandon!” or “Let’s go, Braves!” because the audio is clipped. But the media ran with the much more controversial “Let’s go, Brandon!” pretty much on the word of an AP reporter.

“Let’s go, Brandon,” says the right…and the left.
As first covered by The Hill, a new poll found that a majority of Democrat voters believe that when it comes to 2024, Biden needs to be left behind in favor of someone more capable and, on top of that, able to win against a Republican contender:
The NPR-PBS NewsHour-Marist poll found 44 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents believe that a new nominee will give them their best shot at victory in the next presidential election, while 36 percent want the party to stick with Biden. Another 20 percent aren’t sure.

For very good reason, the media and Democrats feel threatened and terrified by the “Let’s go, Brandon!” chant, which is why we must never stop saying it.
If the organized left understands nothing else, it understands the power that comes when normal, everyday people realize they are not alone.
This is why, among the joyless left, there was a weekend-wide, five-alarm freakout over a Southwest Airlines pilot reportedly saying over the intercom, “Let’s go, Brandon.”
Before I go any further, it’s important to point out that this particular pilot incident might not have happened.

With everything going on in Virginia between Terry McAuliffe and Glenn Youngkin, the battle over Joe Biden’s agenda had taken a backseat in the news, but that may have changed in a big way today.
Late last week, a vote to push through the bipartisan infrastructure bill was scuttled after progressives refused to vote for it without more than a framework on the “Build Back Better” boondoggle. That was the second time in a month Nancy Pelosi had to pull the plug at the last minute. Yet, by Saturday, Democrats were projecting confidence again. Word was that both bills would be voted on as soon as Tuesday.

Even now, Republicans condemn the Left’s programs as creeping socialism, seemingly forgetful of the last decade in which corporations became the vanguard of the cultural revolution.

He received the surgery three days later at a non-religious hospital but filed a lawsuit in California claiming he was discriminated against. The lower courts ruled in his favor and against the hospital, which asked the justices to review the case.(Snip)The majority of the justices declined to get involved. Justices Neil M. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' £48million Gulf Stream has led a 400-strong parade of private jets into COP25 including Prince Albert of Monaco, scores of royals and dozens of 'green' CEOs as an extraordinary traffic jam forced empty planes to fly 30 miles to find space to park. Some environmental activists at the COP26 climate conference will be urging others to cut down on air travel and eat less meat, but apparently it is fine for billionaires to fly in on their own planes on routes already served by commercial airlines.(Snip)Conservative predictions suggest the fleet of private jets arriving for COP26 will blast out 13,000tonnes of carbon dioxide

President Joe Biden’s public struggles with even the simplest usage of the English language have been well documented on the U.S. political scene. From confusing his wife, Jill Biden, with his sister, Valerie, to saying in the lead-up to last year’s presidential race he is a “candidate for the United States Senate” and people could “vote for the other Biden” if he is not their preferred candidate, it appears he can be easily baffled by the most simple of tasks.Simply acknowledging his own position ahead of that of Vice President Kamala Harris once proved too much for his cognitive faculties.

Vice President Kamala Harris received a third COVID-19 vaccination shot on Saturday in front of a fake White House set, which was the target of mockery earlier this month. Harris, 57, received the much-discussed booster shot from a member of the White House Medical Unit—a day before President Biden's twice vaccinated press secretary Jen Psaki announced she contracted the virus. 'Let’s get vaccinated and we will get through the pandemic,' Harris told reporters during a two-minute appearance at the auditorium-style set according to the New York Post.(Snip)The target of mockery and derision after Republicans called out the Hollywood-style set stand-in

President Biden looked away and scratched his forehead when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy yelled a question at him on Sunday regarding rumored plans to pay $450,000 per person to illegal immigrants separated from their families during the Trump administration.“Mr. President, is it true we’re going to give $450,000 to border crossers who are separated?” Doocy shouted at Biden while he was taking an escalator after his press conference in Rome at the end of the G20 gathering.Biden was looking at the camera when Doocy yelled his question. His curious and dismissive response was to ignore it and look away while scratching his head.

President Joe Biden once again seemed to rely on a cheat sheet of 'pre-approved' reporters as he held a press conference at the conclusion of the G20 summit in Rome on Sunday. Biden spoke with various world leaders about climate change goals ahead of the COP26 summit United Nations Climate Change conference to be held this week in Glasgow, Scotland. As he opened up the floor to questions, at the start of the the press conference, the president seemed to be using a pre-ordained list of correspondents to call on. 'And now I'm happy to take some questions. And I'm told I should start with AP, Zeke Miller,'

American Airlines canceled almost 250 more flights—or about 8 percent of its scheduled trips—on Monday morning after canceling over 1,500 flights through the weekend, blaming the travel disruptions on weather woes and staffing issues. First Lady Jill Biden arrived in Naples, Italy Monday afternoon to tour a DOD-funded school, splitting off from husband, President Joe Biden, who traveled to Scotland to participate in the COP26 climate summit.
Biden arrived at the military airport, Mario De Bernardi, outside of Rome, wearing a white dress and dark pink blazer. She paired her outfit with a matching pink face mask, a blue scarf and taupe boots. She spent several minutes on the breezy tarmac greeting military personnel and hugging staff who accompanied her on the G20 trip to Rome, before taking off for Naples.

Raised during the 1960s era of systematic racism and consequential societal change, I have experienced the real-life impacts of our country’s world-changing mission statement: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” That is what makes recent attempts to institutionalize division and disincentivize parental involvement in the classroom all the more disturbing. I grew up in a home of teachers. My dad was a college professor for more than 40 years, and my mom taught junior high. They were trusted to do what teachers throughout our history have always done: teach students to read, write, add, subtract, and think critically,

Joe Biden has pulled off the incredible: inherit a booming economy and bring it to a near-standstill in just nine months. When the president took office, the country was enjoying a robust V-shaped recovery, growing at better than 6%. The Federal Reserve was puffing up the money supply by $120 billion per month, consumers were sitting atop $2.5 trillion in excess savings, prices were stable and unemployment was falling fast. On Inauguration Day 1.6 million Americans received the COVID vaccine, optimism was rising and people were flush with trillions in relief funds.

Concerns about President Joe Biden’s mental abilities have gone mainstream.
Although the press has largely overlooked Biden’s gaffes, his disastrous performance at a decidedly friendly CNN townhall prompted the Wall Street Journal to editorialize that Biden’s “frequent public confusion about the major issues of the day is a reason for the growing public concern.”
Even the notoriously partisan “Saturday Night Live” has started to use Biden’s mental acuity as a punchline. One of the show’s characters has quipped about how “insiders are also saying that, during meetings, President Biden repeatedly uses the f-word in conversation. More concerning, the f-word he keeps using is ‘forget.’”

NEW YORK — Health officials on Friday offered more evidence that vaccinations offer better protection against COVID-19 than immunity from a prior infection. Unvaccinated people who had been infected months earlier were 5 times more likely to get COVID-19 than fully vaccinated people who didn’t have a prior infection, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concluded in a new study. “These data show, pretty strongly, that the vaccines are more protective against symptomatic COVID,” said Dr. Mike Saag, an infectious disease expert at the University of Alabama. Anthony Fauci is in for a shellacking Tuesday when a bombshell new book by former Trump economic adviser Peter Navarro lands.
“In Trump Time, A Journal of America’s Plague Year,” is a rollicking personal diary studded with insider confidences, and it sets its sights squarely on the chief medical adviser to the president.
Navarro writes that Fauci did “more damage to this nation, President Trump and the world than anyone else this side of the Bat Lady of Wuhan.

Mailers attacking Democrat Terry McAuliffe for being “on the side of abusive police officers” are popping up in Virginia voters’ mailboxes, urging support for third-party hopeful Princess Blanding — and highlighting a fierce battle for Black votes in the final days of the tight governor’s race.
In interviews with POLITICO, more than a dozen top Democrats involved in the Virginia campaign — from strategists on the ground to House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) — expressed concern that Black support for McAuliffe is weaker and less enthusiastic than it could be in a razor-thin race in a blue-trending state. Against that backdrop, McAuliffe and Black Democratic surrogates are racing across Virginia
