It sounds like a Halloween horror flick – Joe Biden had problems on an elevator and that was why he was late to a meeting with the G20 leaders. Unfortunately, no one believes him.Joe Biden was late for another meeting, this time with the G20. He’s notably late for every meeting he attends per FOX News: From June 1 through the second week of October, Biden was an average of 22.4 minutes late for his publicly scheduled events, according to a Fox News tally. He has sometimes kept his audiences waiting an hour or longer.

Jerry Remy, a Red Sox icon on and off the field and in the broadcast booth, beloved across New England and an inspiration to so many throughout a lengthy battle with cancer, died on Saturday night. He was 68. Remy became synonymous with Red Sox baseball as a playing career turned into a legendary run of more than three decades as a color commentator for games on NESN. He fought valiantly against lung cancer after being first diagnosed in 2008, and he had stepped away from the NESN booth in August as he underwent treatment again.

I wrote earlier about how the Southwest Airlines incident involving a rebellious pilot who paid homage to the “Let’s go, Brandon” chant during a greeting to passengers on the airplane’s intercom system Friday seemed to truly upset the wackadoodles at CNN perhaps more so than any other group of people. To quickly recap for anyone who missed it, there was CNN “journalist” John Harwood’s “Seriously?” reaction towards the airline, and then CNN “national security analyst” Juliette Kayyem – also a Harvard professor – encouraging passengers to file a complaint with the FAA over a pilot who she is now snidely smearing with allegations of possible “substance abuse.”

As Democrats contemplate the potential for a stinging loss in the Virginia gubernatorial election, the party appears to remain utterly tone-deaf to the feedback it gets through public polling as they rush to pass President Joe Biden’s spending bills. New polling from NBC, ABC, and Rasmussen demonstrate just how badly Democrats misinterpreted their mandate in 2020.
Earlier this month, a summary of Rasmussen polls on Biden’s approval and related issues indicated that Americans are not pleased with the current state of affairs. On Friday, the pollster released another survey of likely voters that showed that 57% think the economy is worse under Biden

A new poll published on Sunday found that about 7 in 10 Americans know 'just some' or even less about what's in both the Biden administration's infrastructure and social spending bills.
Despite 55 percent of respondents saying they were following negotiations about the bills at least somewhat closely, only 31 percent said they know a great deal or good amount about what's in the legislation. The survey showed that 32 percent of Americans thought the bills would hurt people like them compared to 25 percent who thought it would help them.

Joe Biden met with some of the European Union leaders and representatives of 14 nations at the G20 meeting in Rome today. We saw how he seemed, literally and figuratively, almost out of the picture yesterday during the “family” shot of the countries’ leaders.
Today, it started off badly, with Biden showing up 20 minutes late for his remarks.
His excuse? He was “playing with elevators,” he told the other leaders. Alrighty, now. I’m not sure I really want to know what that means.
But Biden has a habit of being late, as we’ve all seen. Fox actually has been keeping a count, noting he averages 22.4 minutes late for his publicly scheduled

A new NBC News poll shows that Joe Biden’s approval among American adults has fallen to 42 percent. 54 percent disapprove.
This represents a remarkable shrinkage. In August the same pollsters found America split 49-48 on Biden’s performance, with the marginally larger percentage approving of it. In April, they found that Americans approved of Biden’s performance, 53-39.
Now, only 40 percent of adults approve of Biden’s handling of the economy. An even smaller portion, 37 percent, gives him high marks on a 5-point scale for being competent and effective as president, while 28 percent (most of whom have probably been vacationing in Mongolia) give him high marks for uniting the country.

The Air Force could lose thousands of troops in the coming weeks as over 11,000 active-duty personnel remain without a COVID-19 vaccine, just days before the deadline to get one.
Some 96.4 percent of active-duty airmen were partially or fully vaccinated as of Oct. 25, the branch said in its latest vaccination update.
That means approximately 11,462 airmen have not begun a vaccination program before the Nov. 2 deadline to become fully vaccinated.
Another nearly 12,000 reserve personnel or Space Force members remain unvaccinated, according to data released by the Air Force. Reserves have until Dec. 2 to become fully vaccinated.

The gas price crisis in the United States continues to spiral out of control. Those in the South have seen their gas prices double to over $3.00 a gallon over the last several months, but they have it easy compared to places like California, where one station was recently charging over $7.00 a gallon. That’s enough to make Europe blush.Of course, every bit of this was self-inflicted on the nation, not by consumers, but by the Biden administration pandering to far-left delusions about climate change completely destroying the planet.
So what’s the solution? Is it to drill more domestically? To greenlight Keystone XL and other pipelines?

When I was a kid in the late 1970s, I happened upon a copy of Hal Lindsey’s megaselling The Late Great Planet Earth. It was an Evangelical account of the Last Days, purporting to explain how we were living in the times just before the return of Jesus Christ. All of this hit me like a bomb. I didn’t know Jesus Christ was coming back! Why did no one tell me? (I’ve told you before that we weren’t big churchgoers in my family.) And holy cow, I had no clue that the Soviet Union was mentioned in the Bible, and that the European

Progressive activists showed up to an Arizona wedding officiated by Sen. Krysten Sinema (D) to protest her opposition to Democrats' massive spending plans, prompting the bride and her mother to plead with demonstrators to stop 'ruining' the event.
Sinema was officiating the wedding for her personal friend last weekend when protesters arrived at the venue and began chanting while holding signs that included phrases like, "Sinema Betrays Democrats" and, "We voted for you — shouldn't you vote for us?" according to a video of the event posted to YouTube on Oct. 24.
Sinema spokesperson Hannah Hurley told Tuscon.com in a statement that the senator "officiated a personal friend’s wedding

Frankly, it’s appalling to see how fanatically eager some parents are to inject their children with the experimental gene therapy, like so many lab rats.
Hyperbole, you say? Conspiracy theory? Don’t take my word for it. Here’s one of the trained seals at the FDA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pfizer, Inc., as that august body “debated” approving the shots for kids: “We’re never going to learn how safe the vaccine is unless we start giving it and that’s just the way it goes. That’s how we found out about complications of other vaccines.”
Thank you, Dr. Pelosi.
A curious and alarming inversion has taken place in American society.

Animal rights organization PETA has called for Major League Baseball to "strike out" the word "bullpen" in favor of "arm barn" because, as the organization claims, the current term is a reference to a "holding area where terrified bulls are kept before slaughter."
"Words matter, and baseball ‘bullpens’ devalue talented players and mock the misery of sensitive animals," PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said in a press release. "PETA encourages Major League Baseball coaches, announcers, players, and fans to changeup their language and embrace the ‘arm barn’ instead." [Tweet]

A study published Friday shows that the number of clinic-performed abortions in Texas decreased by half in September, the month S.B. 8 – the state’s law that bans abortions upon fetal heartbeat detection – went into effect.
In the findings from the Texas Policy Evaluation Project’s study, 2,164 abortions were performed at clinics in Texas. In September 2020, 4,313 abortions took place. Compared with August 2021, there were 5,377 abortions in Texas. According to the study, this high number “likely reflects the facilities’ expanded hours to accommodate more patients needing care in anticipation of S.B. 8 going into effect.” The study compiled data from 19 of the state’s 24 abortion providers,

President Joe Biden just can’t seem to get a break. It seems that each week, a new poll is published showing his approval ratings sinking faster than the Titanic.
But these particular surveys are notable because it shows that even among Democratic voters, Biden is quickly losing support. They revealed that the president is decreasing in popularity in several key blue states.
One study revealed that only 40 percent of likely voters in Michigan approve of the president’s performance, which marks a 10 percent decrease since March. Even worse, about 52 percent disapprove of how Biden is governing.
A Monmouth University poll showed that among New Jersey voters,

If we know anything about the Democrat Party and its liberal media sock puppets, it is this: Liberals will beat to death any news — real, overblown, or concocted — that it believes it can exploit the ever-loving hell out of, solely for political expediency and for a variety of nefarious reasons, which we’ll get to in a bit.
One such “news” item is the never-ending COVID “pandemic” and the restrictions foisted on America by Democrats and their useful idiots, principally vaccine and mask mandates, in the wake of even more draconian lockdowns. To call the continuing effort laughable would be an understatement.

Country music icon released a music video for his 2019 hit “The Weight of the Badge” on Thursday, which begins with a scene showing police officers raising the American flag outside the New York State Police Academy.“You have people that are going out and doing a job to defend their communities, and you know in the back of the mind of every one of those officers — one of them might not be going home,” a police officer says at the start of the video, before the music begins.“And we have seen it — I’ve seen it — throughout my career,” the officer continues. “I’ve seem it here, locally,

As Madeline reported on Friday, President Joe Biden claimed that Pope Francis told him he's a "good Catholic" and should "keep receiving Communion." We'll just have to take Biden's word for it, because the Vatican cut the live feed at the last minute. As it was revealed, according to Jack Posobiec during his "Human Events Daily" podcast posted Friday night, the Vatican wasn't having the White House's demands about how the meeting was supposed to be staged. Many news outlets reported in their coverage of the Vatican's move that it did so without explanation. David Rutz, writing for Fox News, pointed out that "White House press fumes over restricted access

With polls in Virginia now showing Republican Glenn Youngkin leading the gubernatorial race, there’s a sense of panic emanating from the Terry McAuliffe campaign.
At one point earlier in the month, I believe McAuliffe felt he had the ability to go ahead and sew things up, especially given Virginia’s heavy blue lean. That strategy included bringing in Barack Obama, Stacey Abrams, and Joe Biden to rally support. But Virginia is an odd state that has seen wild electoral fluctuations over the last decade.
After it became clear his blitz of big-name Democrats had failed, the desperation only got worse. That culminated yesterday in a disgusting stunt yesterday

Massive chaos is hitting New York City because of the vaccine mandates as the deadline for city employees to be vaccinated arrived on Friday. The mandate is to be enforced on Monday.Anti-vaccine mandate protesters have been very active in New York City as we have reported even coming out to protest the Nets banning Kyrie Irving from playing basketball for them until he gets vaccinated. There were massive protests this week of city employees including police, fire, and emergency services on Thursday as thousands came out in front of Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s residence, to protest Mayor Bill de Blasio’s vaccine mandate.

A new study stops short of saying that vaccine mandates are as useful in stopping the spread of COVID-19 as a screen door on a submarine, but it admits that the delta variant hops from person to person with no regard for vaccination status.
The way that the experts whose study was published in the British medical journal The Lancet put it was that “fully vaccinated individuals with breakthrough infections have peak viral load similar to unvaccinated cases and can efficiently transmit infection in household settings, including to fully vaccinated contacts.”
When Bloomberg reported on the study, it cut to the core:

Although the Democratic Party has long presented itself as the party of the blue-collar, working-class man, this image has been crumbling in recent years.
Former President Donald Trump certainly broke the Matrix in this regard in 2016, reaching out to Rust Belt manufacturers and coal miners that had been largely abandoned by the new progressive movement’s swift attachment to intersectionality and the job-killing Green Agenda.
Yet the last year’s far-reaching COVID tyranny, which is causing deep rifts between Democratic leadership and public sector union workers, has made this disconnect that much more apparent.
Democratic Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot was confronted with this fraught relationship head-on this week as she was loudly booed
