Does Alec Baldwin Deserve Decency?

Original Article

Posted By: DW626, 10/27/2021 5:37:59 AM

It was probably the worst day of Alec Baldwin's life when he accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie "Rust" on Oct. 21. It's a time to feel terrible about a 42-year-old woman with a husband and a young son. Then, CNN's Jake Tapper used it in one of his commentaries to denounce the entire Republican Party for making this tragedy an occasion for jokes. "There's something about our politics right now that is driving people away from our shared humanity."

Comments:

May Baldwin’s future be bleak and financially bankrupt.

The author posits the question and answers it correctly. Yes, Baldwin should be afforded the decency his probable humanity is due. But if instead the question were 'Does he deserve leniency?, then the answer would be a resounding, "NO!".

If he had EVER spent 3 hours to attend an NRA gun safety course, this narcissist might have used his G-dgiven brain and not killed this woman by his gross negligence. He has a net worth of $60 million, but HIS greed to produce a movie on the cheap and his stupidity killed her, so he should be in inprisoned for manslaughter.

When I was 5 years old my Dad taught me how to safely handle a gun. Basically immediately UNLOAD it. inspect it and load it when you intend to use it.. This is simple enough for even Alec.to understand. Criminally negligent.

Judging from the narcissistic “statement” Baldwin issued about HIS FEELINGS and how he DISTANCED HIMSELF from his own negligence, I would suggest he does not deserve anything but our contempt. All signs continue to indicate that the man is irredeemable.

I've watched men like Joe Biden and known of the antics of Alec Baldwin for years both men being vindictive and very mean toward people, Baldwin even became physical toward others politics aside. Baldwin plays his progressiveness to the hilt and then some. Like Biden I despised both men and both deserve the misery heaped on them because of their actions towards others. Biden's is mostly vindictive stupid words Baldwin is more aggressive and would be physical. A resounding NO to forgiving or deserving decency. If I would feel sorrow for Baldwin at any moment you could count on his character in the future make me mad that I gave him a pass. Baldwin's thought process is not normal or nice from his past so I wish misery for the rest of his life.

The way our legal system is set up, if we cannot give the rotten the same legal protections as we give the good, the system eventually won't work for anybody. That is the problem we are facing right now. A member of the elites not facing the same laws as everybody else would. If they can put Martha Stewart away, they can certainly deal with Baldwin as needs to be done.

Basic human decency is a threshold value. In the past, whenever the Left has shown its real self, there have always some share of conservatives willing to engage in human decency Olympics trying to set new standards of compassion and understanding shown. That was wrong, because it left the nasty but important work of protecting our Constitution and our families undone. We are engaged in a war or mutual destruction, declared by the Left. When the enemy stands next to a big hole in the ground, push them in and go about your day. They have earned that treatment. Your great grandchildren will thank you. As will the Veterans not killed, the puppies not tortured, and the babies not aborted. Take no glee in doing that. Stoicism in the face of destroying the Left should be your measure of decency. But do it. It is what is necessary for the basic survival of our Country and the people we care about.

No. He'd just assume spit on you or me as say "Hello". Greg Gutfeld made a great point the other night. This was a low budget film and Baldwin was producing it. To reduce costs he could have asked the NRA to send a rep (or reps) to check guns and blanks - and they probably would have sent one (or more) for free. But NOOOO !!! The NRA is BAD. And Baldwin's a gun grabber in real life (i.e. when he's not playing make believe on a film set). The guy's a pig (his daughter reference) and deserves everything he gets.

Until recently, conservatives were the party of business. They defended the business world not as a necessary evil or because of its efficiencies, but because they thought it exemplified an enterprising, individualist morality. It respected rights of contract, served as an arena for creativity, and allowed socially useful competition. Even now, Republicans condemn the Left’s programs as creeping socialism, seemingly forgetful of the last decade in which corporations became the vanguard of the cultural revolution.

For four continuous years, Alec Baldwin maliciously caricatured President Trump in numerous ‘comedy’ sketches on Saturday Night Live. The cycle worked as follows: The ‘brains’ in Washington contrived a scandal or outrage for that week, often related to the phony Russian Collusion narrative that loomed over Trump’s 4-year term. The figurative rifles were fired resting on the shoulders of shady lawyers, porn stars, dismissed or disgruntled personnel, anonymous ‘insiders’ and ‘leakers’.

Most are also Western. Or at least they reside in nations that have become "Westernized." Migrants, regardless of their race, religion or gender, almost always head for a Western nation.
