Huma Abedin says she was sexually assaulted
by a US senator around 2005 but was able
to forget the incident until allegations
against Brett Kavanaugh triggered her memory

Huma Abedin has claimed in her forthcoming memoir that she was sexually assaulted by an unnamed US senator. The longtime Hillary Clinton aide and estranged wife of former congressman and convicted sex offender Anthony Weiner wrote in her new book 'Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds,' out next week, that she was able to put the incident out of her mind for years. It was not until Christine Blasey Ford was testifying about her alleged assault by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018 that the memory resurfaced. She did not name the senator or his political party.

If true, I doubt she’d ever be in close enough proximity to a Republican to be chatted up let alone touched. And if it was a Republican, she would’ve named him.

Huma just sellin' books. Hearing someone lie triggered her memory. Then she remembered the lie she meant to tell about a (no doubt) Republican senator. (He's probably up for re-election about the time her book comes out.) They're so predictable.

So she put it out of her mind, will not name names, but she will drag Mr. Kavanaugh through the mud even though he had NOTHING to do with ANYTHING and act like somehow he is causing her this stress because she believes the cow with the whinny voice and absolutely no recall on what happened and neither did any of her friends. Really, believe you, uh, no. And I don't care.

Yet, she continued to work for a woman who trashed all the women that Bill Clinton assaulted in and out of the Oval Office. It never ceases to amaze me how many celebrity women have been sexually assaulted and love to tell about it to get sympathy. I have lived a long time and have never been assaulted. Must be something wrong with me. Maybe it is the company I keep and the fact that I always keep my clothes on and don't push my boobs up and out for all to see. If what she said happened, she should have known better than to go to a man's room by herself. They were probably both drunk.

Southwest Airlines ‘Let’s go, Brandon!’ claim may not be all it’s cracked up to be according to social media sleuths Associated Press reporter Colleen Long claimed over the weekend that a Southwest Airlines pilot on her flight signed off with “Let’s go, Brandon!” but the audio being passed around with her story seems to have some major inconsistencies.First off, according to Twitchy, there is real doubt as to whether the pilot said “Let’s go, Brandon!” or “Let’s go, Braves!” because the audio is clipped. But the media ran with the much more controversial “Let’s go, Brandon!” pretty much on the word of an AP reporter.

Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe shifted his communication strategy away from Donald Trump the weekend before Tuesday’s election. McAuliffe said in Virginia Beach on Saturday his campaign is “not about Trump,” despite constantly attempting to bring Donald Trump into the statewide election for months. McAuliffe also doubled down Sunday on CNN, saying the election was no longer about Trump. “I’d love to have him come in,” McAuliffe said of Trump. “But you know… this is not about Trump.”The change in direction comes as McAuliffe has accused Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin of being a “Trump wannabe.”

President Joe Biden’s public struggles with even the simplest usage of the English language have been well documented on the U.S. political scene. From confusing his wife, Jill Biden, with his sister, Valerie, to saying in the lead-up to last year’s presidential race he is a “candidate for the United States Senate” and people could “vote for the other Biden” if he is not their preferred candidate, it appears he can be easily baffled by the most simple of tasks.Simply acknowledging his own position ahead of that of Vice President Kamala Harris once proved too much for his cognitive faculties.

President Biden looked away and scratched his forehead when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy yelled a question at him on Sunday regarding rumored plans to pay $450,000 per person to illegal immigrants separated from their families during the Trump administration.“Mr. President, is it true we’re going to give $450,000 to border crossers who are separated?” Doocy shouted at Biden while he was taking an escalator after his press conference in Rome at the end of the G20 gathering.Biden was looking at the camera when Doocy yelled his question. His curious and dismissive response was to ignore it and look away while scratching his head.

Raised during the 1960s era of systematic racism and consequential societal change, I have experienced the real-life impacts of our country’s world-changing mission statement: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” That is what makes recent attempts to institutionalize division and disincentivize parental involvement in the classroom all the more disturbing. I grew up in a home of teachers. My dad was a college professor for more than 40 years, and my mom taught junior high. They were trusted to do what teachers throughout our history have always done: teach students to read, write, add, subtract, and think critically,

It sounds like a Halloween horror flick – Joe Biden had problems on an elevator and that was why he was late to a meeting with the G20 leaders. Unfortunately, no one believes him.Joe Biden was late for another meeting, this time with the G20. He’s notably late for every meeting he attends per FOX News: From June 1 through the second week of October, Biden was an average of 22.4 minutes late for his publicly scheduled events, according to a Fox News tally. I wrote earlier about how the Southwest Airlines incident involving a rebellious pilot who paid homage to the “Let’s go, Brandon” chant during a greeting to passengers on the airplane’s intercom system Friday seemed to truly upset the wackadoodles at CNN perhaps more so than any other group of people. To quickly recap for anyone who missed it, there was CNN “journalist” John Harwood’s “Seriously?” reaction towards the airline, and then CNN “national security analyst” Juliette Kayyem – also a Harvard professor – encouraging passengers to file a complaint with the FAA over a pilot who she is now snidely smearing with allegations of possible “substance abuse.”

President Joe Biden offered an emotional account of his relationship with Pope Francis on Sunday during a press conference, choking up as he described how the pontiff had become a friend and offered comfort when his son died.'Pope Francis has become,' he said, pausing to collect his thoughts, 'I don't want to exaggerate - has become a someone who's provided a great solace for my family when my son died.'After a day of grand international diplomacy to tackle climate change and snarled supply chains, Biden came close to tears as he talked about meeting Francis in the days after his son's death.

Joe Biden’s adventure in Rome this weekend is coming to an end. The first in-person G20 meeting since the pandemic began brought world leaders together to backslap and mingle while accomplishing very little. One interesting thing pops out from the reporting of the summit – Joe Biden was pushed off on the sidelines. What happened to “America’s back”? In June when Biden attended the G7 in England, he declared, “America is back at the table.” It was a slap at his predecessor who was not hesitant to take the United States out of agreements with other countries

On Friday, Joe Biden met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. Mysteriously, the TV feed was abruptly cut off by officials, and video of Biden speaking with the Pope never made it to viewers. I did happen to see Jack Posobiec’s tweet about the incident on Friday, but I had since long forgotten about it. Biden is making waves on social media again but for all the wrong reasons. Many are wondering whether there is any truth to rumors that Biden had a “bathroom incident” during his meeting with the Pope at the Vatican, causing the hashtag #poopypantsbiden to trend on Twitter.

NEW YORK — Health officials on Friday offered more evidence that vaccinations offer better protection against COVID-19 than immunity from a prior infection. Unvaccinated people who had been infected months earlier were 5 times more likely to get COVID-19 than fully vaccinated people who didn’t have a prior infection, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concluded in a new study. “These data show, pretty strongly, that the vaccines are more protective against symptomatic COVID,” said Dr. Mike Saag, an infectious disease expert at the University of Alabama. Heir to the British throne Prince Charles called for a “vast military-style campaign” to combat climate change as he opened the COP26 summit in Glasgow on Monday. Prince Charles, Duke of Edinburgh, called on the governments of the world to take a “war-like footing” to solve the supposed climate crisis. “The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us just how devastating a global cross-border threat can be, climate change and biodiversity loss are no different. In fact, they pose an even greater existential threat, to the extent that we have to put ourselves on what might be called a war-like footing,” Charles said. Claiming that “time has quite literally run out,"

The Democratic Party of Virginia has filed a lawsuit contending that hundreds of thousands of mail-in ballots could be caught up in the glacially-paced USPS mail delivery system, threatening to disenfranchise masses of voters and impact the commonwealth’s tight gubernatorial race. Last week, the party filed a lawsuit claiming that as many as 300,000 Virginians intend to cast their ballots in Tuesday’s critical election by mail, but local USPS branches have failed to deliver ballots in time for voters to fill them out and return them by the deadline. “Thousands of absentee ballots currently sit at postal facilities throughout the Commonwealth, unprocessed for weeks

Animal rights organization PETA has called for Major League Baseball to "strike out" the word "bullpen" in favor of "arm barn" because, as the organization claims, the current term is a reference to a "holding area where terrified bulls are kept before slaughter." "Words matter, and baseball ‘bullpens’ devalue talented players and mock the misery of sensitive animals," PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said in a press release. "PETA encourages Major League Baseball coaches, announcers, players, and fans to changeup their language and embrace the ‘arm barn’ instead." [Tweet]

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is reporting a new high in the bullying of Muslim children in California public, charter and non-Islamic private schools. In a statewide survey of 708 Muslim students aged 11 to 18 years old, 55% reported “feeling unsafe, unwelcome or uncomfortable at school because of their Muslim identity,” the highest level in five such reports since the biennial study began in 2013, CAIR-CA reported. Hussam Ayloush, head of the civil rights group’s California chapter, told The Washington Times that the results confirm American Muslims have “faced growing challenges due to Islamophobia” in popular culture and public hate crimes during the past 20 years
