Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema sent political observers on the internet into a frenzy on Tuesday when she presided over the upper house of the United States Congress wearing a casual denim vest. The moderate Democrat who's been frustrating progressives and even her own party leadership over her opposition to parts of Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda appeared in the Senate chamber yesterday afternoon in a black t-shirt dress and denim combo, surrounded by fellow lawmakers in suits and ties. Sinema is known for wearing eccentric outfits ranging from colorful wigs to a backpack and schoolgirl ensemble that she donned

What a bunch of prattling, catty dingbats. If it were AOC or Hillary, they would be gushing with praise for her "stylish outfit" in the midst of all the stodgy suits.

Maybe she did it just to PO the crybabies in Congress.

Well, the Senate has always valued style over substance. Double (or even single) digit IQ is fine, as long as you dress it nice.

Daily Mail is commie trash. They used to be really good in the Clinton years. They don't care what Sinema wears as long as it's within the PC dress code. They just want to trash her.

Scroom. We don't know whether two Democrat senators will hold out against socialism. Such a shame it comes to that. 2022 ought to be a blow out of Democrats, but we know that cheating will again be rampant. It worked in 2020.

Leftists praised her and her unique style after her (upset?) victory but now that she's shown to be more independent than they realized even her clothes are mocked.

I like her sassy attitude…an “in your face” statement. Appropriate for the Senate? No, but then most of the inhabitants of the Senate chamber are not appropriate, either.

Her normal attire is shall we say....... colorful.
Compare and contrast the coverage of her attire and Michelle Obama's attire. And zim still convinced that Michelle had hijacked a PT Barnum clown car.

She's from Arizona.
Sounds to me like she's wearing a Culturally Appropriate outfit.
If any of The Squat (having grown up in an Islamic country) showed up wearing a full Burka (complete with the cloth window to look out through) would the Leftists be in such a snit?
I don't think so!

I get a kick out of her..she is just in their face..as for the sneakers..I believe she broke her foot this summer and she had been in a "boot" until recently..so sneakers are appropriate for her at this point.

So the howler monkeys are distressed by denim, but delighted by fashion-forward sexual predators in dresses-- in various girls' bathrooms?

I once had a "manager" berate me for daring to wear a flannel shirt to work, over my regular shirt. It was winter and it seemed perfectly normal to me. As soon as I got inside I would take it off. He, however, was from New York City and wasn't familiar with folks out here in the west wearing flannel shirts. I see nothing wrong with Senema wearing a denim vest, as it actually looks good on her. What about that crazy black congresslady that wears the silly colored cowboy hats? Don't recall anyone ever berating her.

Respect the institution? Give me a break! There's a guy in Brandon's administration dressed as a woman in a Navy Admiral's uniform you would swear it's Halloween everyday in Washington with all those hideous losers. Take a gander at Jerald Nadler for one or that representative with the gawdy pink cowboy straw hats. At this moment we don't have a government we have a cabal of dumb misfits all Sinema did was report to a cattle call by dressing for the occasion.

Daily Mail just another one of the Democrat scribes. If she were the one with toned arms, boob belt, and wrinkled shorts it would be considered high fashion. Nothing left for the left to talk about.

Suits have done nothing for making the Senate better. As for Sinema, what they said about her says loads about those that said it.

What ever else can be said about Sinema, she has her own unique way of living her life. I consider her clothing a refreshing change from the Mao suits all the other women tend to wear. Plus she can rock a pair of boots like Condi Rice used to.

Her fashion choices have always been 'unique'. I'm more worried about the Left's ugly policies than Sinema's attire.
