Why Britain can't stand Joe Biden

Original Article

Posted By: DVC, 10/14/2021 11:55:56 AM

With a domestic approval rating of just 38%, Joe Biden is fast becoming one of the most unpopular presidents in modern U.S. history at such an early stage of a presidency. The catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal, a massive crisis on the southern border, and a Socialist-style big government economic agenda have all combined to disillusion American voters. Is the leader of the free world though faring any better on the international stage? After all, Biden boasted on the campaign trail about "restoring" America’s standing and credibility across the globe after the supposedly reckless approach of the Trump era.

Comments:

The leftists telling Joe what to say are really angering the British.
If you aren't clear on the Northern Island Protocol, it is basically an agreement on how to deal with the open border between Northern Ireland and Ireland. N.Ireland is part of the UK, which left the EU. But, goods can flow over the open border to Ireland, which is part of the EU. This provides an easy path for goods from UK to EU without any border controls that eh EU wants for "outsiders".
Stupid leftists in the US are parroting EU positions on this sensitive issue, angering the British.

I can't work up much sympathy for the UK, or Europe for that matter. They hated Trump with a passion (remember the Trump baby balloon in London), and wanted him gone. Well, they got what they wanted. Learn to live with it.

Four years with President Trump the economies were clicking along very well but the Euroweenies, Britain being one, thought President Trump was a brute and boorish. His brashness along with telling the truth hurt their feelings plus shirking off their stupid green movement. So here we are now Joe Biden screwed the pooch. We should not be hearing these horror stories of the catastrophe Biden with his nitwit moron administration has caused. I don't care what the Brits think of Joe Biden what did they expect with the low IQ idiot advancing with dementia moving into the White House. Not my president, FJB.

The European leaders never hated or even disliked Trump. It was our media that spread that lie. Europeans knew Biden was an empty suit but may genuinely be amazed at the malignity and incompetence of the man. Mock the Europeans all you want but it wasn’t they who made Biden president.

Even with Brits in our family (and they feel same pretty much) I find myself uninterested in what Britain is mad about with Biden. They and the Royal Family treated one of the best Presidents of the USA for “them” like dirt. He and his wife were treated with cool politeness on both of their trips to London. The prissy Senior Royals would not be seen with Trump much less photographed with him. So much for the “special” relationship.

Trump’s approach to foreign policy was not to appease. America first. As hard as that was for Europeans to process they knew Trump would stand by his word and they would have to negotiate in good faith with him to get access to our markets. Now they are dealing with a demented fool and his arrogant clueless posse. Some of these countries participated in the theft of this election. No mercy.

John Catanzara, president of the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police, said Friday Chicago Mayor Lightfoot’s vaccine mandate is "absolutely wrong" and instructed other officers not to comply. The mandate takes effect Friday and requires all police officers to be vaccinated or get tested for COVID-19 twice a week. Police are required to provide their vaccination status to the city by the end of the day. On "Fox & Friends," Catanzara estimated about half of his officers have been vaccinated, but he said even those who have received the vaccine agree that a mandate is wrong. He told Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt that the mandate was Lightfoot’s decision

Another Columbus Day has come and gone. Although it was "celebrated" with the usual vitriol and outraged "wokeism" concerning the Italian explorer's alleged "genocide" against the natives, one influential voice came to Columbus's defense: on October 11, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a proclamation, an excerpt of which follows: Columbus stands a singular figure in Western Civilization, who exemplified courage, risk-taking, and heroism in the face of enormous odds; as a visionary who saw the possibilities of exploration beyond Europe; and as a founding father who laid the foundation for what would one day become the United States of America

One of the things that COVID and the vaccines have brought to the fore is the fact that, even in the third decade of the 21st century, as the Book of Common Prayer says, “in the midst of life, we are in death.” In the modern age, it’s been easy to forget that fact. But what if it’s government or other third-party dictates that are forcing that death upon us, rather than our free choice as citizens in a supposed free country. What then? Her comments came during the annual Family Research Council's Pray Vote Stand Summit during a Thursday panel on "Fighting Indoctrination on a National Scale." "I really think at this point the only thing to do is have a mass exodus from the public school system – that's it," King said. In response, she received prolonged applause, and many in the audience stood to their feet at the Leesburg, Virginia, event. King previously drew national attention for her speech opposing critical race theory (CRT)

Affirmative Action: Obviously a euphemism for institutionalized racism. Apparently, it's OK to discriminate against people of European descent rather than blindly consider merit. And in the absence of merit, mediocracy becomes more prevalent. This is the left's preferred remedy, rather than allow the "clients" of this practice better access to quality education so they can have more marketable skills. Minimum Wage: Based on the myth that standards of living can be elevated by government edict rather than increases in productivity. Advocates for minimum wage rely on the slander that employers (AKA job-creators) exploit their workers, and they confuse the price of a worker's time with its value.

In March 2021, a year into the Covid-19 pandemic, the New York Times shared the results of a comprehensive survey of 35,000 Americans done by Gallup and Franklin Templeton. True to form, the Times refused to face the survey’s epic implications. The Times started pulling punches in the headline, “Covid’s Partisan Errors: Republicans tend to underestimate Covid risks — and Democrats tend to exaggerate them.” This equivocation papered over the real news hook of the story, namely that health officials and their media enablers scared policy makers, especially in blue states, into making catastrophic, fear-based misjudgments.

The associate director of the polling company that conducted the survey, Savanta ComRes, suggested that the finding could be partially attributed to the proliferation of virtual prayers and religious services during the pandemic. Ten percent of British adults reported in January that their faith is stronger as a result of the pandemic, according to the Pew Research Center. Growth in faith during the pandemic was even more pronounced in the U.S.

The conversion process involves illegal devices commonly referred to as "Glock switches" or "auto-sears," which are readily available to buy on the internet or can be made on 3-D printers.
