The White House defended Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Friday for taking off two months of paid paternity leave — even as the national supply chain crisis worsened. White House press secretary Jen Psaki called Buttigieg a role model for taking so much time off after he and Chasten got baby twins. “[P]roud to work in an Administration that is fighting to make paid leave a reality for everyone, and with people like Sec. Pete Buttigieg who are role models on the importance of paid leave for new parents,” she wrote. (Tweet)

I have to agree. I just wish all Democrats would take two months off. More would get accomplished.

Pete’s the wife. He’s Mrs. Buttigieg. So the racist regime said “paternity leave” instead of “maternity leave” because they think the correct formulation would be demeaning.

If I had said just 15 years ago that a poofter would be in the Cabinet, with a “husband”, and was taking maternity leave, they would have rightfully locked me up and thrown away the key.

And how could we tell that the Cabinet Official was not at work?
Did the container ships manage to dock and deliver their cargo?
How would things have been different if the Role Model had been on the job?
Does he make a difference? Does he actually do anything?
Inquiring minds want to know.

The difference between him being “on the job” or on “paternity (or is it maternity leave - which one is he?) is none. His plan would be too have teams of soys wearing mom jeans on bicycles pulling trailers with containers on them to save the earth.
Other than being paid by the taxpayers for breathing and virtue signaling, Petey being there or not is inconsequential.

He and Chasten 'got' baby twins? What does that even mean?
And why did Dementia Jo tell us the gay boy was running the months- long negotiations over the port problems? Was that a lie, or was Dementia Jo just confused? Or misinformed?

Please excuse me while I throw up.
Psaki has uttered more BS than any press secretary in history and she seems to enjoy it.

Chasten: Make sure to pick up a set of baby airplane toys that hang from the ceiling
Pete: It's on my list, sweetheart
Chasten: Anybody from work miss you?
Pete: I don't think so. Nobody has called. Things must be running smoothly.

Paternity leave. Those poor kids should be put on permanent leave from those two frauds. I'd like to know who's playing mom. Or, do they switch monthly to share the experience. You know, I don't care what a person does in their home and I don't care about a person's lifestyle, but this is beyond sickening.

Sam Kinison would have said that Mayor Pete is in violation on Romans 1, not to mention that he really isn't all that much into his job as transportation secretary. Has Pete, the "wife," been nursing? I don't know what to say, other than that Buttgieg belongs among this glorified collection of Democrat losers. Let him take the rest of the year off. Then next year. He's got better things to do.

Buttigieg is nauseating. So is the way the WH press corp fawns over Psaki. Notice how often reporters preface their softball questions with, “thanks, Jen.”

Democrats, at least the politicians, have no sense of responsibility. They don't care I'd they have a job to do or that others depend on them to do it. I would have been working 24/7 to fix the problems even if I was not getting paid. I could spend time with the baby later but we have an emergency here that needs my immediate attention...NOW!!
Democrats: "let them eat cake" I'll be back to work in a couple months...

After years of running my own businesses and being personally responsible for ensuring my employees' well being I can guarantee that I simply could not take even a day of paternity leave. both of my kids were born while I was at work and we seem none the worse for it.

A role model, I think not!!! Putting personal issues like two months paid paternity leave ahead of the critical transportation issues of an entire nation of 329.5 million citizens is beyond selfish: It's a textbook example of dereliction of duty, if not treason. He needs to be fired immediately, and perminently banned from ever holding a position of responsibility again, in or out of government!!!
